MCT 58th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the  

58th New Release 

from My Creative Time!

What did you think of yesterday's sneaks? Pretty awesome right?!?!?

Today the DT will be showcasing the new set~

Gobble Gobble

and here is the card I made using it......

I love pumpkin spice season and paired this new sentiment from Gobble Gobble with the adorable coffee cup die from the Coffee Break set. 

I also used the background sentiment from the Gobble Gobble set on my stitched squares. I heat embossed the sentiment and lightly inked them up so the embossing came through for some extra texture. 

I then die cut the embossed background out using the Stitched Squares. Once the coffee cup was cut, paper pieced and assembled, it was popped up onto the front of my squares. 

The sentiment was stamped and I felt it still needed something more so I used the leaf stamp/die, again from the Gobble Gobble set and popped those up onto my coffee cup.

Finally to finish off my card I used some brown enamel pearls.

MCT 55th New Release Sneak Day 3

Good Morning and welcome to Day 3 of sneaks for the

55th New Release from 

My Creative Time!

This week is flying by and I am hoping that you are all just LOVING this new release as much as the DT is!! 

Today's new stamp/die set is:

MAKE A WISH

For my project today I got a jump start for my son's 13th birthday by making him his card and a matching gift bag.

I used some designer paper from MME~Boy Crazy and kept the design of my card focused to the center of the card.

I used one of the new candle dies, some matching designer paper and added the flame a different color. The candle was then popped up onto the front of my card using some foam squares. 

I stamped the sentiment..also from the new Make a Wish set under my candle and further embellished simply with a hemp bow, some enamel dots and glossy accents on the flame.

The matching gift bag was done using the same designer paper and the totally AWESOME gift bag die.

I added a different sentiment for this one as well as a smaller candle die cut. 

So super fun and perfect for holding a gift card and some candy!!

MCT 48th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Day 2 of Sneaks for the 

My Creative Time 48th New Release!!

Today we are showcasing the new set~

Best Friend Background Stamp

For my card today, I stepped outside of my comfort zone and tried some new techniques. First I have this gorgeous set of zig watercolor markers that I have yet to try out so to make my card, I started out with some Tim Holtz Watercolor paper and 3 colors, making a colorful background. Next I stamped the new Best Friend Background Stamp onto my card mat, stamping partially and only covering the background stamp with a random pattern of ink. I think it gives the card some extra texture~ thoughts??

Then I moved onto the sentiment. I ended up mixing 2 sentiment stamps~ Things I Love.... & Fun Variety on the Inside & Out to make the "to my best" sentiment. I used the "friend" die cut from yesterday's sneak Friendships are Forever and cut it out using some sparkly black paper. To finish my card off, I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die for my card mat, added a strip of the black sparkly paper behind the popped up card mat and placed 2 black enamel dots as my embellishment.

Today we are showcasing the new set~

 Friendships are Forever

I centered my card around the sentiment from this set. I found a cute globe cut in the Silhouette store and played around with the sizing so I could use one of the circle dies from the Bunch of Fun Circle die set. It was a perfect size for both my card and the sentiment~

don't you think?? Using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die for the card mat, I added a smaller strip of the designer paper from the globe and stitched it onto the top of my card. Before doing that, I did add 2 Stitched Decorative Banner pieces. Some random enamel dots and my card was complete.

Making treats has got to be one of the things I LOVE to do best with My Creative Time Stamps and dies!!! My youngest is a HUGE fan of these fishy treats so I usually have a bag around the house at all times. Then I saw these 2 sets, I knew they would make for some sweet treats!

To make my treat I used a medium candy bag from Trendy Twine and filled it with a backing of designer paper and some yummy fishy treats! 

Next I went about putting my tag together. One of the MUST have dies from MCT is the Just Tags set and I die cut the bottom layer with the matching inside designer paper. I die cut the top layer with white cardstock as well as some additional designer paper that I ended up using the wave die border on. I stamped the sentiment from this releases FREEBIE set~ Find Joy in the Little Things onto the wave border piece and adhered it to the tag top. 

I used the adorable bubble stamp and added that to the white cardstock, colored it in with some Wink of Stella and glossy accents and placed it aside to dry. 

 I stamped my fishy onto red designer paper, die cut him out as well as stamped and die cut the hook using kraft cardstock. I popped the fishy up above the hook which I glued onto my tag at a slant. 

To finish my project up, I added some matching Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine through the tag to attach it to my candy bag.

MCT 45th New Release Sneak Day 3

Morning everyone and welcome to Day 3 of sneaks for the

45th New Release from My Creative Time!

I am super excited about today's sneaks! See that adorable pic above in the banner...yes the one with the fish..well those cuties look like the goldfish we have at our house so when I saw today's new stamps and dies I knew that those would get tons of use!!!

Get ready to see some super CUTE projects with the sneak peeks of the freebie set~

Find Joy in The Little Things as well as  You're a Great Catch

To put my card together, I used the adorable new fish from the You're a Great Catch set and stamped and die cut them out using some fun orange pattern paper.  Next I found some blue pattern paper from the same My Minds Eye~Happy Day paper pad and die cut waves into the middle part. Those waves are one of 2 new dies from this same set! I stamped my sentiment and those adorable bubbles onto the card and then placed the goldfish partway in the waves...popping their heads up with some small foam dots. 

To finish my card off, I colored in each of the bubbles with my Wink of Stella pen and then added some glossy accents. Mounted the card mat on some kraft cardstock and then the whole card front onto my white card base.

Welcome Baby.....{Scrapping the Little Things w/MCT}

Good Morning and Welcome to another Scrapping the Little Things with My Creative Time!
After this past week of amazing sneaks from the DT and another AWESOME new release, I used the new Hello Baby and Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies as my theme for this months PL cards. 

For my cards, I used designer paper from Lori Whitlock's~All About a Boy. As you can see I used several additional MCT goodies to help highlight those CUTIE new release stamp and dies!
Section 1 is simple 4X4 card which I added the baby onsie too. In addition to that die, I did add a small Stitched Star to the center.
The next section I used the Bracket Die as a place for my sentiment then left a nice sized space to add a picture. Finally for that 4X4 card I added the cutie baby cow which I colored with my copics.
To finish off my PL cards, I used the small 2X2 die and added 4 of the small Stitched Doily Dies. Then using the Uppercase Alphabet Dies, I spelled out the word BABY.

I am so excited to share my cards I made today using this releases FREEBIE die set

Baby Word Die  along with the AWESOME Hello Baby  Set.

My first card is a baby boy shaker card using that cutie giraffe stamp and matching die set. I ended up using the Doily Die for the shaker part of my card and die cutting a circle into the center of the doily using one of the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies. After filling the shaker with some yellow and brown sequins, closing up the shaker and wrapping some Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine around the whole card front, I started working on the front of my card. I die cut the giraffe and stamped him onto the die cut. Next I colored him with my copic markers and popped him up onto the front of my card. For the sentiment, I die cut the Baby Word Die in the matching brown cardstock and placed the sentiment on a slight diagonal so I could stamp the rest of my sentiment both above and below it.

I couldn't make a baby boy card without making a cutie baby girl card too...LOL so for this one I used the oh so adorable elephant! A completely different card LO for this one but I went about stamping and coloring the image the same way as well as the positioning of the sentiment. For the center border piece I did use the Rectangular Frame Die and just made the piece smaller to fit the image and sentiment. Some matching enamel dots and some Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine and my card was complete.

I went CAS with my card because I just LOVE the new coffee cup and donut dies! I used my favorite mat die~ the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die and cut it out using some white cardstock. Then using the new dies, I added my splash of color with the teal cardstock. Everything was popped up with some fun foam for added dimension, I added a simple hemp bow to the coffee cup and some glossy accents to the donuts. Once I had the placement of where I wanted my die cuts, I stamped the sentiment.
