The Digi Bistro~ Reindeer Games Christmas Tags

Hi everyone
I have these adorable Christmas Gift Tags to share with you using The Digi Bistro's new file
Reindeer Games Christmas

OMG this file is so adorable and comes with 12 SVG's that are so stinkin cute!!
I needed some gift tags and these cuts were perfect for using up some scraps :)
My tags are all 4" and cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More
I used PKS~ Christmas Tag Mini's for the To and From
Sheer ribbon from my stash and all PTI card stock from my stash
So I cut the ornament at 3"
The tree at 3.25"
and the stocking at 2.5"
I inked the edges and used my white gel pen for some extra doodles

The present was cut at 2.25"
The reindeer at 3.75" and the
Mistletoe at 3"
Again I inked all the edges and added my white gel pen.

I can not decide which of these cuts I like more...they are all so adorable but I am so so so loving this little guy!
The best thing about this project was they were so easy to put together.
The files are super easy to use and my tags are very basic (which is what I wanted)
but the possibility to embellish these cuts are endless!!

So if you like these tags...head over to The Digi Bistro and pick up your own set!!

There is another new set also...A Very Penguin Christmas that I plan on playing with in the next few days....I just couldn't pass these up.
Awesome Job Cher!!

I cut him with SCAL and my cricut at 4.5"
using PTI card stock and DP from My Minds Eye~Mischievous Paper Pack
He was put together using quick dry adhesive and foam  dots on an A2 size kraft cardbase
I used my EK Success border punch
and
stamped my image from My Craft Spot~Happy Fall stamp set using memento black ink
All the edges were inked with Tim Holtz distress ink in Rusty Hinge
and
Inkadinkado Coffee bean
I added google eyes instead of using the eye cuts...too cute
and some 3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon in Sunflower
of course I ended it all with my can not live without white gel pen!

I am really happy with how this turned out...hope you like it too.

Cutting' Up with Class~ Challenge #4 Boo Door Hanger

Hi everyone!
I have been MIA from posting for a few days due to a very bad head/chest cold :(
I was in bed sleeping which has been the best thing for me and I am slowly getting back to functionable.
I did have this door hanger project on my desk since Tuesday waiting to be worked on and have just gotten enough energy to finish and post it for the Cutting Up With Class challenge
For this challenge I chose "Trick" and I received this adorable SVG file.
Everything I used is from my scrap pile...I am trying to use up all this extra Halloween paper before I move onto thanksgiving and Christmas cards.
So the door hanger, the "boo to you" and the poem all came in the file
I just added my own embellishments~buttons with twine and eye's
and the Martha Steward border punch.
I think it turned out pretty cute :)

This to That Challenge Day~ Twisted Easel Card

Good Morning Everyone!
It is time for another This to That Challenge over at Cher's Studio featuring The Digi Bistro DT.
This weeks challenge is all about
The Twisted Easel Card :)

I am a big fan of making these cards, have even posted a picture tutorial on making this very easy card.
You can see that post here.

Cher has been very busy working on some new files and in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness month we are previewing her new files.

Here is my card for this challenge~~
This is my A2 card closed
And here it is open
Isn't Cher's files just too cute....they are the bear and the ribbon :)

For my card I made a white base and used Making Memories DP~ Think Pink
The sentiments are from My Pink Stamper~Pink alicious Stamp set.
I did add some pink ink around the ribbon and frame
as well as brown ink to the bear
He also has some white doodles just for alittle extra.
The ribbon is from my stash that I ruffled and attached using glue dots.

So your challenge is to make a Twisted Easel Card using any files or cuts you like.
Don't have any The Digi Bistro files?~ now would be a GREAT time to head over and pick up one or two. Since Halloween is right around the corner there are some great ones!!
Then head over to Cher's Studio and link up!

I am also entering this into the following Challenges:

The star is a paper punch that I found in the bottom of my punches...yippee for me :)
Isn't the sentiment perfect?!?!?

Here is my second card. Another simple design, this one using a cut file I found browsing the Internet.
I lightly inked the edges and used homemade foam dots to attach.
My favorite .....my white gel pen for some doodles and
another sentiment from Bugbite's Mistletoe set.

Please hop over to Barb's blog~ BugBites and see what the other guest designers have to share.

School Days~ A Shape Card for a few Challenges :)

Hi Everyone!
I have a card to share with you that I made with a couple of challenge in mind.
School is back in session for some....we still have 4 more weeks left till school starts here but all the back to school prep going on, and the numerous challenges out there I though my card would be school geared.

The School House shape card is actually an SVG file that I have had but never used. Usually I make sure I know where it came from to give credit back to the designer but for some reason I have no clue :(

I do have to say that after watching a tutorial yesterday on coloring your own ribbon I had to give it a try and I LOVE how it comes out!!
I used white grosgrain ribbon and my copics. How fun is that!
Now I will always have matching ribbon!!

The little school children are from PDDU which is a cart I have not used in forever! I cut them out at 1.6" and cut their heads off (oh that sounded so bad!) Their faces were stamped with Peachy Keen Simple Sallies.
Since I cut them in white I colored their faces again with my copic marker to look skin toned.

And lastly the sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe~ School Years file.

So I am entering this into the following Challenges:
Scrapbookaholic by Abby~Challenge #11 Back to School
Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge~ Let's Face it Friday~ Shape Card
Paper Cutz Challenge~#103 School Days 1,2,3
Kimberli's Creations~  Using and Old Cart
Celebrate the Occasion~ #25 Back to School
My Sheri Crafts~ #66 Back to School
Queen of My Craftroom~ Back to School
Capture the Moment~ Make it Monday Copic Striped Ribbon

Hope you like my project for today. Thanks for stopping by and see you all tomorrow :)

A "Sweet" Thank You

Good Morning Bloggers!

I am so excited...tonight is the Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop!
Make sure you come back starting at 7pm EST and join in all the fun!
I am very excited to share my project, can't wait to see everyone else's project and there is LOTS of yummy candy to be won!!

I have not entered a challenge in a while so I thought I would be creative this morning while the kids are letting me and enter some :)
Isn't this "sweet"!
So this is what I did....I recently purchased Cheryl's Cute Bugs at SVGcuts.com and used the welded card base.
The paper is from Bo Bunny and the Popsicle cut is from the Simply Charmed cartridge cut at 4".
I hid the face and instead stamped a PK~491 Everyday Character Face on her. I love how this face changes the whole look of the cut!!
The Sentiment is from My Creative Time~This and That. I used 2 stamps for this and pieced the wording I wanted on a Tim Holtz Ticket Strip Die Cut.
Alittle Bakers Twine around the layer and tied on with ticket and there you have it.
Oh yeah...I also used my white and black gel pen for some doodling.
The Popsicle is attached with foam dots for some added dimensions.

What do you think?
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Tacky Tuesdays Challenge #8~ Cool Treats w/"Sweet" wording
Papercutz Challenge #99~ use a Popsicle

Thanks for stopping by~~~See you all tonight at 7pm :)

A Love Bug Card and Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop Reminder

Hi everyone!
We have had some wonderful weather here so I have been sitting at the pool with the boys for the past few days!
They are having a great summer....wearing themselves out swimming and hanging with friends and I am catching up on some summer reading and relaxing.
I try hard to get some early morning craftin in or late night creating in so I am sorry these last few posts have been later.

Yesterday I saw Nikki over at MelonHeadz put a test request out using her SVG files. I was able to help her and made 1 of 2 images into a card.
The "love" sentiment is the SVG file Nikki made. I love the way it cut! I added it with the Ladybug from Cheryl's Cute Bugs SVG file from SVGcuts.com. The card base is also from that file.

If you don't know this...or have not been over to Nikki's Blog~ MelonHeadz you really need to make a stop.
She has amazing digi images and is always drawing up something new! I hope she starts with more SVG files.

Now on to our reminder....Tomorrow is the big Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop!!
My project is all ready to be shared and I can't wait for you all to see it!!!
There is some amazing blog candy up for grabs.....and a grand prize as well.
Stephanie has a Gypsy for one lucky winner.
Whoo Hoo!!
Make sure you stop back tomorrow night at 7 and join myself as well as the new DT members for this super fun hop!!

Have a GREAT night and see you all tomorrow :)

~~Wedding Card~~

Morning Bloggers!
Happy Flag Day :)
I am posting bright and early today because then it is off to the kids school for their annual Flag Day parade.
Today's card is for 2 challenges...Whoo hoo I'm on a roll again with the challenge entries

I made a simple and what I think elegant wedding card. I used an SVG file for the scalloped oval and paper from DCVW Love and Wedding stack.
The hearts were cut from the Wedding Cartridge using the shadow and 2 layers.
I stamped the sentiment using TPC Studios~ Greetings Stamp set and added some bling with my irock.

I have wanted to purchase some crinkle ribbon and have yet to do so...then I watched some videos on how to make my own..unfortunately I can not find seam binding around here, only online. Again something I haven't ordered yet. Then I was at my favorite store yesterday buying CKC tickets for this upcoming weekend when I saw some crinkly ribbon. I bought a bunch in 6 different colors and used the white on this card. Not crinkle ribbon but close :)

I am entering this card into the following Challenges:
Paper Cutz Challenge- #95 Pink, White & Black

Thanks for stopping by...tomorrow is Challenge time over at Whimsical Wednesdays. Make sure to come back and check out my project along with the rest of the DT.

It's a Linking Party :)

Hi Bloggers!!
Guess what?!?! It is still raining here and will be for the entire week! I had wanted to get so much done outside, my husband took the week off to work on the garden and we can do NOTHING outside :(
Hoping for a break to at least do alittle planting but it is not looking too good.
So instead we are cleaning the garage..sounds like fun right?!?! Needed to get done for sure!

Anyways I made a card to "Celebrate" this fun linking party!
Alex over at You Had Me at Craft has been working so hard to get this fun linky party together and I can't wait to join in!
This is my card I made for today

I used the free SVG file

Cheryl's Sweet Treats Mini SVG Collection

and cut the cupcake and the banner from the set.
It is a pretty simple card and was very easy to put together!
I stamped the sentiment from the Fiskar's Birthday Stamp set
Used my cuttlebug-- Divine Swirls to the "frosting" and my crimper for the wrapper.
Everything is up on foam dots for alittle extra dimensions.
So I hope you like my card for today and if you get a chance hop over and visit Alex and link up!
I can't wait to hop around, visit the other blogs linked and find some more great inspiration!

Time for Another Whimsical Wednesday Challenge :)

Good Morning Blogging Friends!
It is that time again! Another Challenge over at Whimsical Wednesday.
I was so excited about this challenge---Make a Shape Card.
I seem to be stuck in making simple A2 cards and needed the push to get my act into gear and step outside of my comfort zone. So when this challenge came up I knew exactly the "shape" I wanted my card.

I found a wine bottle SVG file awhile back..probably during my search for another file and put the idea in the back of my head. (sorry not sure of the site...I will search for it and if anyone is interested leave me a comment)
It is now time to pull out the creative idea...and take what I had pictured in my head and make it work.

I have to say I really LOVE the way this turned out! I  used the SVG file and SCAL to weld the wine bottle for the base. After cutting out the base I cut  another bottle and all the layers.
I had the stamp sentiment from a Birthday bunch by Fiskars that was perfect. I made it look like a label...placed it inside another oval stamp and added some bling with my irock.

I wanted the top of the bottle to look more like a cork so I used one! I took a piece from an extra cork board and trimmed it to mimic the shape the paper would have been.
I did have a bead ring around the bottle to look like a wine charm but I took it off and I like the way it looks better without it.
The bottle is attached with foam dots for alittle more added dimention.

Size of the card is 2 1/2" x 8 1/2". Tall and skinny :) But with plenty of room to add a nice message inside.

Well I hope you like my Shape Card and want to play along with this weeks challenge. Make sure you head over to Whimsical Wednesday's blog, check out the other DT's projects and link up your project!

Thanks for stopping by. Can't wait to see your project!

MPS-Challenge #5- 3D item

Here is the card I made for Challenge #5 over at MPS. The challenge is to make a 3D item or add a 3D element to your project.
I made a Father's Day card with a 3D rosette. I stamped the image and glued it to the center of my rosette.
The saw and hammer were a free SVG file and I added screw brads to the corners for added "man-ly-ness" LOL

Happy Birthday Adam...Pokemon Style :)

Today is Adam's Birthday. He is now 6 and he is the son of my closest friend.
For his birthday he wanted a Pokemon Notebook to write all his secrets, battle plans and everyday 6 year old things in.
After searching the web for Pokemon SVG files I came across Mardenz blog. There are GREAT files and she did have a few Pokemon ones.
So I made him his own special notebook and matching gift bag.
This is the first time I have decorated a gift bag and I really love the way it came out!
Anyways the notebook is a composition book covered in black cardstock. I cut each of the four pokemon through SCAL as well as his name.
The book was missing something when my son told me that each of the characters stood for something....that is how the fire, water, electric and earth came to be. They are stickers and added the perfect finish to the book.

That is all I have for tonight..for some reason I am really tired and completely unmotivated to do much of anything. Have a great night and see you all tomorrow :)
