So Much To Share! It's Been TOO Long!

Image
What in the world happen to her, never mind where's Waldo, where's Denise? So we went on a hunt to see if we could find some evidence as to her where abouts ~ I guess a picture tells a thousand words, so I'll let these do the talking...well, okay, maybe I'll still share a bit as this mystery unfolds ~ so first, we found this ~ what a site ~ and there she was, sitting on the deck with a cup of tea, with her knitting needles ~ of all things and just clicking up a storm! Now if you look just south of the picture you'll see the pool in the back ~ okay, so that answers a few more question! I think we'll be getting to the bottom of this a lot quicker than anticipated!  It's still very early in the season, so my flowers are not as stunning as they usually are come July! And then we found some gardening gloves, hoses, a trowel, a sun hat and sun screen ~ oh my goodness ~ we found a farmer, wait a minute ~ it's her...Denise the cardmaker?????  You bet, tha...

Hoping You Are Doing Snow Good!

Image
Bad typo on my part ~ meant to say "Hoping you are doing so good" ~ so while we are on that subject, I have a bit of a different post for you...I had shared a post last month with a peek at how the frost had kissed all the trees in the backyard. So today, I'd like to share how the snow has blanketed our yard and plays hide & seek with our trees! This picture is looking out of our front door, you can see where I started to shovel the front walkway, the snow is up to my knees, Dean will be snow blowing us out when he get's home this evening! Our cedar rail fence is hiding and the old grain wagon is wanting to join in the game! You can just see the lights on top of our driveway markers, and yes, that is the sidewalk to our front door just in front of the circle drive! I took this picture from our sunroom, so the lighting is quite bad, you are now looking toward the back yard on the south side of our home. There is a old cedar plow just peeking out of the snow! A...

Merry Christmas to all

Image
This will more than likely be my last post of the year ~ unless I pop in a few pictures during our stay at Banff as we celebrate Christmas with our children and my sister ~ Thanks to everyone who has made my first few months of 'blogging' a wonderful experience! May you know the blessing of His wonderful presence in all you do this Christmas Season! Just a quick photo of my greenhouse in the winter ~ graced with kisses of frost on everything! Our Lord truly is an artist! If you take a peek at an older post, you will witness my garden in the summer! Thanks for stopping by and may you be blessed with His wonderful presence this Christmas Season! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Christmas In October

Image
Good Morning! Well I'm still busy getting ready for my Christmas Stack in October, and I did get more done yesterday ~ but the afternoon sun was beaconing me out ~ so far be it for me to argue about spending time in the garden ~  away I went and got a bit more done outside! While I was out there, I decided to share some of our yard with you ~ thanks for humouring me and taking a peek ~ hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Pictures of my little hobby greenhouse and a very messy flower garden! This is a large two walled feature in the very back of our yard. Dean took an old barn apart and reconstructed it in our yard. Many family photo's are taken back here! I'm sure you noticed throughout these pictures, we have many old barrels, wagons, etc. and now an old tricycle in the front yard ~ as my darling little neighbour Julia asked me one day  "Mrs. Willerton, why do you like....old....broken things?" ~ I'm not sure Julia...I just do! Our greenhouse onc...
