Stampin' Chez Moi

I had the BEST day EVER today ~ my girlfriend came over at 10:15am and the creativity was flowing ~ my girlfriend made two amazing cards (should've taken a picture of us creating)...I love watching her create ~ out with the sketch she's wants to follow ~ a little tweak here and another there and there it is ~ another STUNNER...and yes, should have taken a picture ~ DUH!!!  Thanks for the best day my friend ~ I am blessed beyond words :-) and then I found a sweet sketch to follow, although it wasn't open any longer, but I was on a roll and lovin' the sketch and the card that I was CASing .... thanks for your amazing card LeAnne ... I hope you're okay with me using your card for inspiration ~ your card is absolutely stunning ~ love your creativity so much...so wonderful to see what you share! Well I can't believe that I created a card along with three different challenges, that hasn't happened in quite some time...I just may be onto something great and wonderful as I begin a new season of stampin with my friends! Speaking of great beginnngs, that was the reason for this card that I created for our friend! My starting point was this great colour challenge at Colour Q Challenge #202 ...what fabulous colours for a male card!    Here is the sketch that I followed to create his card...found this one at Retro Sketches #76 ~ I love this site...well...I love them all ~ so much help for a starting place for me! After I had completed my card I realized that I also qualified for the challenge at The Ribbon Carousel which was to have a summer theme and to use ribbon/twine on your creations...well I thought the colours depicted summer and I used a piece of twine on the top panel of my card! Hello and welcome here! Don't you just love the sketches from Stamping 411 ! What a privilege to play along side this wonderful girls. The creativity that happens with these gals is amazing and we would love for you to join in the fun. So take a peek at the sketch for this week, get that mojo working and have some fun! Here is this weeks sketch ~ as soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what I would be inking up ~ I absolutely adore this stamp set and can't believe it won't be available after August 30th! I really enjoy creating masculine cards! I guess when you have the right toys, it makes all the difference in the world ~ so the men in my life...well, I guess you can't all get the same card, so I'd better get some more creating done ~ I digress once again....so here is my card ~ and I love it! I'm back...well, mostly back...now we need to put the house back together, but in the mean time ~ I was able to create and post ~ I found these fantastic colors at Paper Players challenge #46  ~ and enjoyed myself so much putting this together ~  ~ Here's a shot of my card along with the inside ~ This is a super quick post as I've got family coming for pizza and piano/organ moving night ~ it's called dinner with a purpose!
