Stampin' Chez Moi

Moving day from our tiny 961 sq ft condo into our 1400 sq ft condo is almost upon us ~ projected moving date is June 15 ~ our cabinets were delivered yesterday, flooring is in our unit, things just need to be put together...we are OVER the TOP excited to get settled once again...and we have another peek at our place later today ~ I'll post pictures on my next post...in the mean time, this is what it looks like on the outside ~ the view in front of the Condo and a shot across the river ~ our balcony in the second from the top on the right hand side, looking over the river ~ woohoo...get to work people! 17 days and counting!!! Now in the mean time, while I had everything out and putting things away is not as easy as it used to be...so I stayed with the same color theme as my last post ~ soft and sweet ~ here are the thank you cards that I came up with ~ loving the soft feel of this color combo, although taking the picture isn't the easiest ~ what do you think! ...

What a fabulous fall we have had thus far ~ summer weather in October! It is beautiful outside and finding time to stamp is at a premium ~ I love being outside when it's fabulous out ~ but I did take the time to enter my studio in the evenings, so needless to say, this took a couple of evenings to put together and then shot these pictures outside ~ I don't know about you, but stamping is therapy for me ~ I hope you enjoy what I created, I'm super pleased with this card! The gals at SUO Challenge 29 are calling for leaves and then I found a fabulous color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments #87  . Sure hope you pop in on these two wonderful challenge blogs and play along! I love my new Simply Scored tool and so took advantage of my little markers and scored away. This is just a standard 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 CS, scored at 2 1/8 & 6 7/16...mark your spot and you're good to go....easy peasy!!!! Love it!!! I colored my wheelbarrow and veggies using my Blender Pen and also...

I was so excited when I found a Monochromatic Challenge at Mixed Up Monday Challenge . I wanted to create a big thank you card for my sister and I don't care for OVER sized cards....so I got to creating a 'card book'. My sister was extremely busy heading up the planning for our huge family reunion and deserved a big thanks from everyone. So when you have 10 aunts & uncles, their spouses and then their children (3-4 per family)....a card just wouldn't suffice! Here is a picture and a few inside pages of my creation! I hope she likes it!
