Stampin' Chez Moi

Oh what a fun day...got our home tidied...did some knitting (see my Knitting For Sale page)...and had a wonderful play time in my studio....I guess I have more tidying to do now! But I'm SO excited to share my creation with you ~ but it first started with the challenge at Our Creative Corner ...which was ...   Music can be such a motivating thing in life, why not in your papercrafting too? Take inspiration from a song and work it into any papercraft project you'd like - a card, a gift tag or some other paper craft project. Be inspired by the lyrics or the feeling you get by listening along. Just make sure your post includes the song title (and if possible the artist) that inspired you!   And I knew the exact song...and I found myself singing it the whole time I was creating ~ what a peaceful was to create! I also found two fabulous challenges at the Stamping 411 blog...the sketch 245 is found here ~ and the colour challenge 168  is here ~ I love these challenges... ...

What a wonderful week before Christmas that we have had here at home! All of the family together, chatting about our up and coming trip, early Christmas with my parents...all the while working on a birthday card for our son...so here is the challenge from Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge 182 As soon as I saw this, I knew I would created his card with this in mind ~ and then ~ I saw the color challenge from Stacey's Stamping Stage   and the  Curtain Call Color Challenge: {ACT 61} So here is my card for our son's 29th birthday I was having real issues with saving my cropped picture, not sure why I was unable to import my edited version, so sorry for the 'bad' picture....and now this morning it worked, so I actually changed my original snap of this card!
