Stampin' Chez Moi

How is it fall already... summer seemed to go swish !!!!  But with the arrival of fall, I'm living in my studio and loving it ... I'm lovin' the challenges that I've joined today!! First, I found these GREAT inspirational boards... and they both reflect the amazing colours of fall ... let's go!!! check out this inspiration by the Hand Stamped Sentiments and then this one from Paper Craft Crew and I needed a Birthday card... how perfect is that ... let's jump on in with the Seize the Birthday Challenge ~  thank you to all the challenge Blogs out there!  This is so perfect for us that need a bit of direction and inspiration ! Hello friends ~ Come and join me in my studio as I create this card  ~  I jumped in on the challenge from  TTTC 266  and created my card with the Right Hand side grids ~ Ribbon/Twine, Basket (my DSP) and a FREE square !!!    The challenge from   The Male Room#196   calls for Mixed Media...I'm not sure if you can tell, but my Butterfly is almost translucent ~ come and join me in my studio and see how I achieved that ~ I think that falls into the Mixed Media category? I am so low on masculine cards, hence, I created my card as a Birthday card... so I also jumped in on the   STB#301   challenge. What do you think? Hello friends, welcome here on this cold winter day in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada ~ what a great day to curl up with a lovely French Press Coffee in front of a roaring Fireplace!!! I started with this great sketch from the   Sunday Stamps #330 Started with my Little Latte DSP for the main panel against my Early Espresso Card Base ~ it's just looking like Coffee Goodness to me!!! This Amazing Color challenge from   The Card Concept #204  was perfect for my Latte Love Card ~ now, I did not add any green into my creation, I sure hope that is okay! I Embossed the 'Splatter' Embossing folder using Crumb Cake and then I sponged the edges using Early Espresso ~ I stamped Textured Timber using Crumb Cake and then I took one of my Daubers and added some Early Espresso on the Stamp where I saw some of the 'knots' in the wood ~ I was hoping to achieve a table top look ~ I'm happy with the outcome ~ what do you think? And a coffee Birthday date is the PERFECT way to celebrat...
