Dean & I had such a fun time camping with Seth last week ~ here are a few shots of our time together! Dean & Seth played checkers and although we don't  have a picture of us...I taught Seth how to play Backgammom...and we had a blast! Well I was elated when I saw the sketch from JUGS ...this could not have been more perfect for what I had in mind for Seth's Birthday card....I can't believe our first born grandchild is going to be 13 next week. And of course Seth will be getting a nice Soft Suede, Leather bound Backgammom Board from Gramma...and the card....well, you guessed it....a Backgammom card! So much fun! Two quick little comments from me..... wish I wouldn't have stamped my VeryVanilla disks...should have just left them and embossed them with clear EP as I did the Chocolate Chip ones....and secondly... ...I know it's a goofy card, but Seth will be TOTALLY impressed that I made a Backgammom card...hence the.....Backga...

I'm not sure if your card stash is like mine..but when I need a 'thinking of you' or 'get well' card....well, there is none to be had! Oh dear, I guess the housework/laundry/gardening etc. will have to wait ~ 'cause I need to go create! What a fabulous early morning of creating I had! I found two fabulous challenges to use as my starting place ~ thanks all, for these wonderful challenges that you bring our way each week.  Today I played with the sketch from JUGS#187 & the color challenge from crazy4challenges ....oh do pop in on these challenges and join in the fun...there is still time to play! I really enjoyed these colours and then along with the sketch, I think it came together quite nicely! although I'm not to sure about the two different colored ribbons ~ I thought of changing it..but those polka dots on the pink ribbon!!! When I saw this challenge over at Just Us Girls  Wild Card Challenge I knew I wanted to enter a  little family Photo Album that I finished awhile ago.   I used my Scallop Flower Punch from SU ~ crumpled my DP from SU which is just fabulous! After I got everything mangled they way I wanted it,  I began to build my flower ~  poked a hole in the centre of it all and adhered it with a brad,  which you can't see as my flower if so full, but it's in there!  I really enjoy creating this little album as well as the flower ~ my front cover was covered with several layers of Modge Podge!  Thanks so much for taking a peek ~ I hope you enjoyed your stay ~  have a wonderful day!
