Stampin' Chez Moi

What a fabulous holiday Monday I had ~ hubby and I spent the morning together ~ then he was inspired to start ripping up the wall to wall carpeting on the main floor. I'll show you some pictures in the next couple of days! We are installing hardwoods and we can't wait ~ but this will be a month or so process! So our main living area will be a 'fright' for some time, and I just need to be okay with that! So while Dean tore up carpeting I tore up some paper and I had an absolute blast! I found a color challenge at Inkspirations #58 that I really wanted to try and a sketch over at CCMC #138 I'm still on a vintage kick and loving' working with this style! I LOVE the 'Bliss' set that is available for FREE during Sale-a-bration. There was so much going on with this card that I decided to try and keep it as simple as possible in regards to embellishments. So I added one lonely pearl and really like the outcome of this. Well I got a parcel in the mail yesterday from Lil' Inker, it was m y sentiment flag ~ thanks,  Laura !  and I just wanted to play so badly ~ I had to use my new toy! Well I found the layout that I wanted to use from Inkspirations  #55, isn't this a great layout! but just couldn't get my colors together, until I woke up this morning and found what I needed on CQC  #70, thanks so much girls! I wanted to create a valentine's card for my amazing husband and I knew these colors were exactly what I wanted in order to put this together for him... Don't you just love my new 'flag' die cut ~ it is just perfect! It was so fun to pull out this darling little girl from Greeting Card Kids (love that stamp set) her words of love are exactly how I feel.... i just love you!
