Stampin' Chez Moi

Has it really been this long since I posted ~ wow!!! I've been so busy with everything that I kept forgetting to blog, which I love to do!!! What a great color challenge from HandStamped Sentiments #375 ~ and now here's the crazy thing, I had a card that I had created using a OneSheetWonder DSP that I had created and brought it all to the LakeHouse to create more...but when we came home after the weekend ~ I forgot to repack that ~ NOOOOOOO ~ my cards for this challenge are not with me!!!  So, back to the studio I go and what great fun I had ~ so now I have ANOTHER card that I created for this same challenge ~ maybe I'll add it after the fact ... but in the mean time ..... Here we go!!!  I love using the Blending Brushes and I wanted to create a sky scene using these great colors!  thank you for this wonderful challenge!!! Hello and welcome to my blog ~ I can't believe it's August and we're going to have a bit of Christmas join us today ~ Let's begin with this fantastic sketch that I found at Paper Craft Crew #438  ~ I've been wanting to create a card using the 'Curtain' technique and I must say, this is SO fun to create and a GREAT way to use our much loved DSP, after all, it's so much nicer on a card than sitting in your stash! I did create my first card with the diagonal as per the sketch and then created another card with the 'curtain' square to the card base rather than on the diagonal! Did you notice the Black Glimmer paper behind the sentiment!  I was at the LakeHouse when I created this card, so I often have to work with what I have ~ the ribbon is non SU, and the embellishments are the retired Wonderful Gems And ..... I love to follow Card Sketches ~ it is ALWAYS my go to when I get ready to create a new card ~ and look at this fanatic sketch from the PCC#437 ~ I couldn't wait to get started!
