Stampin' Chez Moi

Another challenge!!!! Yipee...I'm back, I feel fully me once again...I've been under the weather for over a month now and by george (whoever he is) ~ I think I'm fully recovered!  When I saw this at the Paper Players , I knew I really wanted to play along...but I wasn't sure how my week would unfold...well, I guess a picture tells a thousand words, cause, here is the challenge and my card! Thanks SO much Lesley, what a great challenge, I love playing along with the Paper Players...so get your mojo on and join in the fun! So here is my little bit of LOVE! and a peek at the inside Here's a another bit of love being showered on Dean ~ Marc had the snow blower out to help Dean with the driveway. We do have a fairly large circle drive in front of our place ~ lots of room for family & friends to park, but this also becomes a large driveway to shovel or snow blow in the winter...so Marc decided to spray a little lovin' on his Dad before he came home for dinn...

Good day to you all ~ I sure hope you've been enjoying your summer thus far and your new catalogues! ~ July just seemed to take SO long for me this year, but it has arrived, the planting is done, the garden is growing and I might add ~ the weeds are doing just fine as well...hmmm, I don't remember planting those ~ I hope you also take the time to play along with us this week at Stamping 411 ~ the girls have a wonderful sketch for you to following using your Stampin' Up supplies ~ come join in the fun!!! Here is the sketch and my creation to go along with this weeks challenge! As you can see, I flipped the sketch just a tad. What a fabulous stamp set ~ I just love it and I'm sure I'll be using this one again and again! I pulled out some ric rac that I had purchased from the clearance rack! Our youngest son is coming home for the weekend and I can't wait to see him! His is very gifted musically and is being interviewed on a local radio station ~ Marc is an independent local recording artist and so this is the reason for the interview ~ check out his ' my space ' and have a listen to his music. I think you'll really enjoy it! Here's a picture of a card that we created last week at one of my classes. This is called the black magic technique, and I can't for the life of me remember where I saw this technique for the first time, but absolutely love it ~ everything just pops on the card, too bad the picture doesn't do it justice for one second! The butterflies really look stunning in real life ~ they were 'shimmer misted' and popped on the face of the card as well as inside! I know....it's really hard to see!
