Stampin' Chez Moi

Well what a fun day I've had...two of my girlfriends came over this morning and we created all day! I found this great sketch to follow...and after I finished my card and read the sketch challenge a little closer, I realized that this was a new blog challenge and here I was #1 challenge and I get to play along! Thanks SO much to the gals at Seize the Sketch ...scoot on over and join in the fun! Here is the sketch that I followed! My card actually began with this little dress that was already cut out and sitting on my desk...I've never grabbed a piece that was sitting and waiting for some creativity to surround it...so away I went and it took me awhile to wake up my tired out Mojo....finally...I was getting somewhere! So here it is ~ my first creation since my Convention Swaps! I hope I can keep my Mojo going and create again before the end of the week! Thanks for popping in....please drop me a little hello! I am over the top excited about going to my first convention!!! I found a great community over at the Stampin' Connection (another perk about being a demo for SU) ~ anyway, I was really encouraged to make even 10 swaps to bring to convention and swap with others....well, so far I have 28 and if I get a chance I'll make a few more, but time is ticking as we leave early Saturday morning, but I'm so pleased to be bringing 28 swaps along ~ here is a quick snap of my swaps, sorry for the bad picture quality, but I'm running like crazy trying to get everything done for us and my parents and my in laws before we head out ~ yikes.....I NEED a holiday! And this will be a great one ~ we are road tripping to Utah, which is what we LOVE to do! My cards also qualify for the challenge at Seize the Birthday ! Well, I'm back again...and so excited to be creating a card and posting as well ~ hopefully this time I'll remember to link my card to the wonderful challenges that I've entered. My last post (which I was also SO excited about)...well...I forgot to link it the the Paper Craft Crew Challenge! I'd like to believe that it's a 'rusty' issue and not a 'duh' moment! Okay, let's not go there!!!! So here are the fabulous challenges that I'm entering this week ~ Ribbon Carousel , and the challenge was the theme for the month  Love is in the air... a new project   and ribbon (check, check, check) and then the challenge at  Sugar Creek Hollow #47  was  Vintage or Shabby Chic  cards and  ROMANTIC LOVE . (check on vintage & a wedding card....romantic love, check) and so with that I began my card...well actually, I created my card first and then found the FABULOUS challenges that worked along with my card!  I'm loving my new dress die, a...

I came across a challenge and I just loved what I saw! Pop in on the Paper Craft Crew , you'll really enjoy what you find here! When I saw the sketch, I thought I could use my new Framelits Die ~ and the colour combo was perfect for what I had in mind... so my starting point was my dress! Here's the challenge that was set before me  What a fun card to create ~ oh I had an absolute blast with some of my new toys..this Framelits Die is a must, as well as the 5/8" Flower Trim ~ I trimmed one of the rosettes off my stash, inked it up on my Daffodil Delight ink pad using a sponge dauber! Set it aside and created the rest of the card! I can't wait to play with this die again ~ I think I'll use some actual fabric next time ~ Here's a bit of a side shot of my card!
