Stampin' Chez Moi

Hello Friends and welcome here ~ Today I'm joining three great challenges for my card.  I did need a birthday card for my Brother In Law, so this was perfect!!! Seize The Birthday  and the Toppings that is being asked for one or more of your initials ~ mine are DAMW ~ so I'm choosing a Dark colored card as well as Masculine, which I always seem to run out of! the other challenge is from the Inspired By DT and I didn't want my card smothered in hearts... so .....   I was inspired by the stripes in the background of the image!!! Now this card is also following this great sketch by the DT of Hand Stamped Challenges  ~ which really had me stumped until I found the Design Paper that I wanted to use ~ so off to work I went.    I think I completed my card in less than 30 minutes!!!! Hello friends ~ welcome here to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop and this months Technique is Masking ~ I haven't masked in quite some time ... so I can't wait to get going on this one! And here is the sketch that I'm following is from TSOT#592 AND  Optional Theme: Ink Blending ~ yay!!! Let's see how this all comes together!! I found this new Blog Challenge that I have never joined, so I decided to jump in on this one as well ~ This challenge is from The Male Room and features Nature ~ wow!!! how perfect is that!!! So I needed a Birthday card TODAY...not sure if you wait until the last minute and look through your stash cards and realize you don't have ONE masculine card !!!  Well, that would be me, so into my studio to create a card for our friend ~ we love to camp with them, so I thought this would be a great starting point!. I masked the moon as well as my trees, out with my Blending Brushes and this is what I came up with.  I sure hope he likes it ~ I love using...

Oh I haven't played with with Seize The Birthday is SOOOO long ~ I'm so happy to be here!!! What a great day of creativity ~ I needed two birthday cards for two of our grandkiddos!!!  Katie and Owen are brother & sister and exactly 2 years apart!!! It is birthday celebration this weekend!! Katie is EVERYTHING girly and yet, she can keep up to her two brothers and her six  boys cousins ~ yup!!! we've been blessed with nine grandkiddos, 8 boys, 1 girl and now for Owen's card ~ the embellishments that I fussy cut represent EVERYTHING about this great young man ~ he is into everything outdoors!!! I created my first Wobble Card and it was so fun ~ I will definitely be creating more of these!!! I needed a card for our grandson who will be celebrating his First Birthday at the end of the month. I knew I wanted to play with the Count on Me stamp set, but what was I going to do with it? When I saw the inspiration at The Card Concept and looked through the image, when I noticed the greenery on the right hand side...a light went off!!! Of course, let's get some greenery behind my sweet bear! so out with the Campology stamp set and my card came together!!!
