Stampin' Chez Moi

It's been SOOOOO long....hello all xoxo ... hope this super quick post is finding you all well. Life has been a whirl wind to say the least! Too much news to even begin to share, so let's get right to this shall we :-)  I found three fabulous challenges to play along with today and it's been so much fun! Talk about 'under the wire' ~ wow!!! I think I've made the deadline ~ all I have to do is post this and I'm in...please phone...don't ring ~ so here we go!!! Our one and only little girl turns 2 next week! Katie is a sweet little cutie I found three fabulous challenges to play along with and thus began creating Katie's Birthday card! The colours for Colour Throwdown #364 were prefect for her card, then I found this great sketch at Retro Sketch #185 and Seize the Birthday of course!  Thanks for these wonderful challenges ladies ~ oh you know you want to join in the fun, so get inking!!!   So I flipped my card on it's side ~ pulled out my Prisma Pencil crayons, just to add a wee splash of color after I cut my image and frame using the Circles Collection Framlits~ I inked up the heart from Work of Art and created my DSP and used the die cut from Banner Framlits, played with my new EF Softly Falling (love it) ~ super sweet and simple birthday card  Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you enjoyed your visit ~ have a wonderful weekend! What a fun day of creating I had ~ knew I wanted a birthday card but didn't have a starting place so I went on a hunt to find the challenges that would fit with the Big Day stamp set ~ I found this great sketch to follow from  retro sketches #154   and then this wonderful color challenge at  Stampin' Royalty #268     I can't believe this is the first time I've used the Large Polka Dot EF ~ I fussy cut around the banner and used Dimensionals to give it some depth ~ coloured each letter in CAKE to go along with the color challenge and then added Crystal Effects to each letter ~ I am pleased with the finished card, but it does look much nicer IRL Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog Jump on in and join these challenges ~ there is still time to play...so let's go!! I enjoyed a wonderful day of creating and found three great challenges to follow ~ you should jump in on the fun ~ first I found this wonderful sketch at the Friday Mashup!  great sketch Avery! Thanks!!! Dropped in on Connie & Mary and found a great color challenge and then popped in at Seize the Birthday and joined them again...thanks girls for these great challenges! I am loving the new Lotus Blossom stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, oh and I love the that honeycomb from the Butterfly Basics stamp set too...and Sequins...and Gorgeous Grunge...these are MUST haves in my creative corner!!! Here is the birthday card that I created ~ I was very pleased with the card! I looked for my Lost Lagoon Stamp Pad, but couldn't seem to find it...must have gotten lost in the move, or maybe, I don't even own it...so I used Bermuda Bay ~ hope that's okay girls ~ I'm really pleased with the outcome of this birthday card ~ jump in and join in the fun!!...

Be still my heart!!! I made a card AND entered a challenge! As soon as I saw the sketch at Mojo Monday , I knew I wanted to join in the fun! So digging through my packed boxes (organized and clearly marked), but still packed...it was an interesting feat to say the least!
