It's Really Me!!!

Image
~ Yes, it's me again, can you believe it ~ 6 days since my last post and I'm back!!!! I know, I can hardly believe it myself. so I found this perfect sketch at Freshly Made ~ run there right now and play along, you still have time! This is the great sketch that Rita sent out for us to follow! And here is my card ~ and I'm so sorry that it's a really bad shot ~ my Cardstock is actually Bashful Blue, not sure if it's because it's a light colour, but I just couldn't seem to get a nice shot of this card. And as you can see, I actually stood my card tall, but the sketch is still the same....lovin my new EF! Sorry that this is such a quick post, we just seem to running lately...but if you do have ANY questions, please drop me a line and I'll get right back to you ~ thanks so much for popping by ~ enjoy your day and your weekend ~ Yippeee ~ It's Friday ~ Please pop in on http://chezmoicreations2.blogspot.ca ...you'll find a link t...

PP100 ~ Party Time!!!

Image
What a fun challenge over at Paper Players ....get running and happy creating!!!  How can you tell that we're stuck in a low pressure situation here in Winnipeg....it's still rainy and overcast, which means I'm having a blast in my studio!!! Here's a super quick card that I put together from the theme challenge #5 found here !  I'm still finding a little (okay) a lot of this & that all over my desk...and I came across this super sweet baby dress and there you have my card! Now I really want to get back to this challenge and find another one to create...ohhhh.....and I just heard a truck door slam...so that means that my wonderful friend in brown is at my door with a box of goodies....YAH!!! I'll get to play with some new toys! I gotta run ~ I know you understand!!!! But since we're on the baby theme, I'll leave you with a sweet picture of my little Owen ~ our youngest grandson....and a cutie! Thank you SO much for stopping by...

Inkspirations Meets Paper Players

Image
I was very intrigued by PP64 's challenge, Clean & Simple along with an Animal or Plant ~ so I rose to the challenge and included all the above ~ Clean & Simple (which I found very difficult) a little monkey, cut using my Cricut and an ivy running along the edge of my sketch...oh and speaking of sketch , this came from INKsirations 4U along with the color challenge! Sort of One Stop Shopping! I hope you like what I created. A very dear friend just gave birth to her second child and I really wanted to create a personalized book for Eli ~ he is her little monkey and so this became my starting place ~ here is a picture of my gift for Eli! and then my matching card to go along with Eli's gift ~ I did flip the sketch onto it's side ~  My little Chocolate Chip Monkey was very hard to photograph, he really does have a face! Sorry for the quick post...been really busy with helping out our aging parents and I'm exhausted, but so excited that I had some t...

Stamping 411 Challenge #194 & 152

Image
I just loved this challenge and they both came from Stamping 411 ~ if you've never joined this challenge, you really should ~ I love playing along with this ~ So first I found the colors that I would be playing with and this was the Stamping 411 Color Inspiration #152  ~ and then the sketch at Stampin 411 Sketch #194 I knew exactly what I wanted to play with ~ so out with Forest Friends (this sketch was perfect)....incidentally....another stamp set that I had never played with...I think I'm on a roll here! ~ Here's the picture of my card ~ As I began to play with this, I thought I was really going to be able to keep my sponge away ~ but I just can't seem to do it ~ I LOVE TO SPONGE MY EDGES!!! So after I stamped my Pear Pizzazz with my Sanded Stamp ~ out with my sponge!  I put together each little frame as follows ~  Each little Forest Friend was punched out with my 1 1/4 Square Punch and then sponged (surprise!!!) ~  I then punched out a Scallop Square using C...

cQC Challenge & SUO Challenge

Image
When I saw the cQc Challenge #67 , I knew right away what I wanted to do with this ~ my baby card stash is VERY low...and then the following morning I noticed the SUO Challenge was for a Baby Card! Two challenges in one ~ I had so much fun doing this...with a few challenges along the way! I really seem to struggle with colors that are chosen for me...so this is a good thing, gets me out of my box and comfort zone ~ I didn't have any Kiwi Kiss in my studio and then forgot all about Melon Mambo! So I substituted Certainly Celery for the Kiwi and then added the Twine to my buttons which is the closest embellishment that I had to Melon Mambo! Okay, so now I'm exhausted....so here's my Baby Buggy Card I then used Crystal Effects on the Baby Buggy dots & heart (I'm loving CE, just adds texture and 'color pop' to whatever it kisses) ~ so then I came to the interior of the card and when I stamped.....oh....I made a mess, I didn't come down properly and so m...

Wordbooks

Image
I create these wordbooks (mini scrapbooks) and am able to personalize them with any name/word that is 6 letters or less. The finished project is approximately 5.5 inches tall and 11.5 inches long. I have created personally named wordbooks as well as GRAND~KIDS, DANCE, BABY~BOY, SOCCER, HOCKEY...the possibilities are endless. Please contact me if you are interested or have any further questions!  This is an example of a six page book (max.) ~ our eldest grandson Seth Andrew James! Today is Grandparents day at Seth's school, so I'll be snatching up Isaac and heading into the city to spend the afternoon with our boys! Here's another sneek-peek of our wonderful grandboys! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day! Yippee!!!! it's Friday!

Love my Grandsons!

Image
Here is a quick little baby card that I created quite awhile ago, the only thing Stampin' Up on this is the cardstock and sentiment. I honestly don't remember if I saw this cased elsewhere ~ sorry! I do have the dimensions, if you're interested, just drop me a line! Thought I'd throw in a couple of pictures of our grandsons ~ they are cousins to each other, Seth belongs to our oldest son, and Isaac to our daughter! We love to camp and when the grandkids join us, it's even better! Seth & Isaac are so much fun to be with ~  I think I see a scrapbook page here! Thanks for stopping by!
