Today I remember the wonderful challenge that I'm submitting my creation to...there is hope for me!!! I just love the challenges over at MDS Monday ~ every time I play along, I learn something new about MDS...love the learning girls ~ thanks so much...so here is the sketch that I followed and the added challenge was to edit the punch shape! And as you can see...we are still on our road trip on our way to SLC, Utah for convention....once I get our trip done ~ back to my books for our grandsons! Good day to you ~ hope you're having a wonderful day...we've been camping at our favourite place for this past week and I've been enjoying the relaxing time and quiet evenings getting another page together! I really enjoy the challenges at MDS Monday , thanks girls for the sweet constant nudge to get another page done. Today is page one for our second grandson...I've got 12 pages done in Seth's book and so I thought it would be great to get a jump start into Isaac's book! So here is the sketch that was brought to us by the very talented Heidi! Stop by and have a peek at the DT's pages....stunning!!! Isaac is now four years old...so I won't have to dig as deeply to find some pictures to play with! So today...a baby boy is born and has blessed us with his presence! I am lovin' playing around in MDS! I used to scrapbook ALL the time ~ creating cards wasn't ever a real interest for me...now I'm addicted to ALL of it! The challenges and helps at MDS Monday are wonderful and this sketch was perfect for another page in Seth's book. Thanks SO much girls, you are helping me keep this going! So here's the sketch and I also doubled this up with the next challenge ~ which was to do some embossing! What....on MDS.....are you kidding.....NOPE!!!! Give it a whirl! MDS Monday# 17 & #18 What a fabulous sketch & challenge...to take a shape and then add your text to it... fabulous! How in the world would I ever know that you could do that....again...Thanks for all your fabulous tips, tricks and tutorials! Our grandsons (Little Isaac shown above...now 4 years old) and his younger brother Austin were ring bearers for their aunty this past weekend...I can't wait to start their Scrapbook...here's a sneak peek...

So many more pages to go...but I'm thrilled to have completed another page for Seth's book! Here is the sketch that I followed from MDS Monday ! This is actually a card sketch, but was perfect as I wanted to highlight a photo of Seth & I. I'm really enjoy playing with MDS, so much to learn though. I'm hoping to really hone this skill as I love technology and would love to have an MDS class added to my monthly schedule ~ we'll see how it goes! Here's my take on this sketch...and I coloured the world, which was another part of the challenge! This was taken in 2009 in our back yard against a large barn wall the Dean built as a feature in what we call 'the back 40'. We live on an acre and a half, so compared to the city lots, we live on a huge acreage...hence the back 40! Welcome to my very first MDS Challenge ~ a real learning curve for me and I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing along with the challenge at MDS Monday ! We love camping with our kids and grandsons...this is a page showcasing a trip we took with our grandson a few years ago!  I'm hoping to finish a scrapbook for Seth for Christmas...this one is page 10...I did the other pages with my own sketches as well as some of the templates found on MDS...but when I saw this, I knew I just had to give this a go...so glad that I did...thanks for the sketch and a great starting point.
