Hello! It's Sunday night as I write this, and the weekend is over! I hate Mondays and as we start a new year everything is challenging-the schedule, the routine (lack of), some of the children. I don't care what anybody says, teachin' ain't easy!
Sorry, you didn't come for that! I bought this stamp from
Rubber Cottage. They come to the nearby Stamp and Scrap Art tour in August. As soon as I saw this I thought of my brothers-all three of them! They were always building the greatest treehouses in the trees around our farm! My oldest brother, Buz has a birthday this week so I wanted to get the stamp inked up for his card.
As you can see, I kept the rest pretty simple.
I used E31, 33, 37 and 29 for the tree. I wanted the treehouse to be different browns so after starting it in E31 I used YR24 and blended again with E31.
The ladder is just E31. The blues are B21, B95 and B37. The reds are R08, 29 and 46. His skin is E000 and E11.
That's about it-this colored up quite quickly and most of the shading was done right in the stamp! I love that!
