Once the image was dry, I added glossy accents to the olives. I also adhered a few sequins and tied gold yarn to bring it all together.
My thoughts and ideas for cardmaking and an occasional altered project!

Cheers!
Cheers to the weekend! Joy Clair just released this cute new set called, Raise Your Glass. Seems sort of fitting for this "birthday weekend" of mine, filled with lots of calories and a few spirits. (wink, wink!) I used my Zig Clean Brush Markers to color the image. I splattered a bit of black paint off the tip of my brush.
Once the image was dry, I added glossy accents to the olives. I also adhered a few sequins and tied gold yarn to bring it all together.
I am off to school...afterwards, let the weekend commence! ;) Have a great one my friends!

Joy Clair-Thank You for Everything!
Good morning and happy Sunday! It is a rainy day here and I am lucky to have nowhere to go today. I plan on staying in my PJ's and crafting for most of today. :)
I have one last Joy Clair release for you to share.
The set today is called, Thank You for Everything. I created my own background using the small flower stamp, embossing it in white, and coloring it using my Zig Kuretake Clean Brush markers.
I cut the flower with my Silhouette and water color paper and water colored that too. I stamped my sentiment and scored the panel for a bit of interest. I also added a bit of ribbon and a few sequins to finish it off.
Have a wonderful and relaxing Sunday!

Joy Clair Joyful Wishes and Christmas Wishes!
Good morning and happy weekend to you!
I still have a couple more days of Joy Clair stamps to show you!
Today I have two cards using two different sets. The first set is called Joyful Wishes. It includes holiday sentiments in a fabulous font. I also snuck in the teeny weeny snowflake stamp and stamped it in pink.
The sentiment was embossed in silver. I embossed the edges of the card to match. The snowflakes were cut from water color paper using a Spellbinder's die. They were water colored, given a coat of glossy accents, and sprinkled with glitter. I tied ribbon and jingle bells as a final touch.
The second set is called, Christmas Wishes. It also has wonderful fonts as well as some Christmas trees. I had a leftover snowflake and didn't want to see it go to waste. LOL! So I stamped the sentiment in a peachy pink color and the snowflakes in yellow. I added a doily, ribbon, and a few rhinestones.
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a wonderful Saturday!

Good morning crafty friends! I have another new stamp set to share with you today from Joy Clair! The set is is called, Rustic Occasions Sentiments. I stamped the branches, pine cones, and sentiment. I used my water color brush to splatter a bit of turquoise and black paint.
The background was created using a Spellbinder's die and water colors. The panel behind it was also water colored with a bit of yellow. I adhered the layers using foam tape. For my finishing touches I added some rustic twine and a scattering of sequins.
Here is the set in its entirety.
Have a great day and TGIF!

Cozy Snowmen Wishes
It's hard to believe that summer is coming to an end. Before you know it we will be shoveling snow and celebrating Christmas. ;)
So why not get a jump start on the holidays by getting this new set by Joy Clair called Cozy Snowman Wishes?
I used my Zig Markers to color the snowman.
I stamped snowflakes in pink and blue and the sentiment in black. I added glittery snow, and a snowflake to the bottom and top of the image.
Here is the entire set. Cute right?
I took my baby to college yesterday. It was a surreal moment for me and as expected I had a few tears when I got home. I am so proud of my son, and wish him happiness, success, and enjoyment through his new found independence. But as his mom who has taken care of him for the past 18 years, I will miss his voice....his hugs.....and even his messes.

Hugs and Smiles!
How are you enjoying the Joy Clair release so far? The stamps are so fun and today's set is no exception! It is called Hugs and Smiles. I love the font, and the circles are so stinking cool!
I used my Zig Kuretake Clean Color Markers in two different color schemes.
The first one is bright and cheery using blue, purples, greens, and a bit of orange. After the water colors were dry, I stamped the sentiment in black. I kept the card clean and simple. No ribbon. (gasp!) or glitter.......of any "poofiness" whatsoever. ;)
My second card is a bit more muted in shades of green, yellow and orange.
Here is the complete set......I am thinking my next card needs to include that cute jar!
Be inspired and head on over to the other gals' blogs!
Have a great day!!!

Grand Opening of Joy Clair!
Good morning! I am excited to be a part of the grand opening of a new stamp company called, Joy Clair!
I had the pleasure of working with many of their stamps including this one called, Hello Autumn. I stamped the leaves on vellum with Staz On ink and used alcohol inks on the opposite sides.
The leaves have a beautiful translucent quality to them that was difficult to capture through photography.
I created a water colored background and added a few splatters of gold and black. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and embossed in gold. I also added a bit of waxy twine and a rhinestone.
Be sure to visit the other gals and see what they have created!
I am back to school today! Wish me luck as a dive into a new grade this year! 4th!
Have a great day!
