Abundant

Good morning!
I have a quick card to share with you today as I am heading to South Carolina to see my son.  He starts Power School on Monday, (He's in the Navy), and we won't have an opportunity to see him again until at least Christmas.
On today's card I used Whimsy Stamp's, Fill a Harvest Truck.  Everything was colored with Copics.  The background was done with various Tim Holtz inks.  I added white gel pen dots to the sky and a few sequins.
I tied a bit of twine and a couple of apples from the set.  And as my usual protocol I had to add a teeny white heart.
Have a great day friends!

Fall has Arrived!

Hello friends!
I have a quick post today using the brand new Thanksgiving Cornucopia set from Whimsy!
I made a pumpkin shaped card using my Silhouette and The Build-a-Pumpkin Patch Die set.
I colored the images with Copics  and used the pumpkin die to cut out the image.  I used the leaves to decorate the top.  I used my Silhouette for the larger pumpkin.  I love this Thanksgiving set!
Thank you for stopping by!

Heartfelt Thanks! (Pie Box #2)

Good morning!  I have take two on these fun pie boxes I found at the Dollar Spot at Target!  Since Halloween has come and gone, I moved on to the next holiday....Thanksgiving!
I stamped this cute image from Hampton Arts on a tag and colored it with my Copic Markers.  The pie box was given a bit of interest with a stencil from Tim Holtz. I added a doily, ribbon, and a few sequins to finish it off.
I love your visits and appreciate you stopping by!
Thanks for making me a part of your day!

Thankful Heart

fall9
Good morning friends! I am up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog today with a fall card!
It was a fast and easy card to make because there was no stamping at all! Just pretty papers from Photoplay and a few embellishments. I used Scrapbook Adhesive's Crafty Foam Tape in between each layer.  I love dimension on a card, and this is a great way to get it! I added German Glass Glitter around the perimeter using Home & Hobby's Dual Tip Glue.  I tied the silk ribbon from the Stamp Simply Ribbon store and used glue to adhered the sunflower and glitter leaves.

I added a few sequins and the pretty little birdie using Dodz-small.  This card took less than a half an hour to make....which for me is unheard of! LOL!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve...Eve!

Good morning!
I am up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog today with a Thanksgiving card!
I have used products from some of my most favorite companies.
The die cut leaves are from JustRite. They were water colored using my Zig Clean Brush Markers.  I gave them a coating of glossy accents and glitter. I used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L's DODZ™ - Medium to adhere the leaves.

The sentiment is from SRM Stickers.  I adhered it across the leaves using Crafty Foam Tape. I tied black twine and a few sequins to finish off my card.

Today is my last day of work for the week! I am so glad too because my house is filthy and the laundry is piled high.  I am hosting Thanksgiving and have so much to do!  I am thinking I should dim the lights, put a few candles on and forget about the cleaning! LOL!
Have a great day my friends!

Crafty Secrets and Word Art Wednesday!

Good morning! I am excited to be a guest designer for Word Art Wednesday!
Crafty Secrets if offering one lucky person a $20.00 digital prize! Really Reasonable Ribbon is also offering a $10.00 prize!
I had the pleasure of working with this beautiful scripture.  I incorporated it with a digital Thanksgiving image from Crafty Secrets.  I merged the two using Photoshop.  I printed it on white cardstock and colored the image using Prisma Colored pencils.  I used a Spellbinder's die to cut out the image.  While the die was in place I sponged around it using several Tim Holtz inks in brown, green, and a bit of blue.

I splattered the perimeter with a bit of water and then a bit of black water color paint.  I removed the die to have a wonderful white crisp edge!  I added coordinating silk ribbon and pearls to the corners. And just because you know how much I LOVE sparkle, I added Ice Stickles to the perimeter of the card, as well as the veggies!

I want to take a moment to thank our Veterans.
I appreciate everything  you do to serve and protect this great country of ours.
Thank you for always keeping me company in my little cyber spot!
Have a wonderful day!

Water Colored Pumpkins!

I was featured on the SRM Blog yesterday with this little number.  The pumpkin was cut from water color paper using my Silhouette.  I colored it with my Zig Clean Color Markers.  Once the pumpkin was dry, I added a thin coat of glossy accents and sprinkled it with glitter.  Each layer was popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives crafty foam tape.

The flowers were cut from felt.  The ribbon is from the Stamp Simply store.  I then added a sentiment from SRM's  Sentiment/Fall collection.

I added a doily to help "ground" the pumpkin.  A few sequins were all that was left to add! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
I am having a quiet cup of coffee before I head to the kitchen. ;)

I wanted to share a second version of this image that is part of Crafty Secret's Thanksgiving digital set.  You can see my original card HERE.
It was printed on glossy card stock and sprinkled with clear embossing powder.  I brought it to life with Copic markers. The colors are so much more vibrant when colored on glossy paper.
I added a bit of coordinating seam binding and some jingle bells.  I also added a scattering of sequins as a final touch.
If you would like to see step by step directions, you can click HERE for my past post. :)

Thank you for your visits and support.
Thank you for letting me share my family with you.
Thank you for allowing me to get to know you.
This hobby has helped me in so many ways....and most of it is because of you.
Hugs to you my friends!
