Welcome Home!!

Tuesday I went to my framer and picked up my 2 latest finishes....     these are the first of my many finishes that were framed with shaped mats.....     my last framer (who closed her business) didn't have the equipment to do this and I am just thrilled to see my work in these shaped mats....

here are pictures of my newly hung friends.....     the first is Spring Knotgarden....    I just love the soft colors and delicate designs.....

the second piece is White Nights in St. Petersburg.....     I think this one turned out just super -- I love my framer's work.....

now I'm back to stitching my latest project -- Medieval Town Mandala.....     here's my progress on this one.....     long way to go!!    this is what 193 hours gets you.....

see you all soon.....    until then, happy stitching!!!

hugs,   Claire

new poster, three designs to share :)

Hi!  I'm Rahenna and I've been a member here for a long time, but I've never posted before.  I love looking at all the progress pictures and while reading back, there was a post asking for more pics to be posted.  It made me realize that just reading and not posting to share is kind of silly, so I hope you don't mind a bunch of pictures. :)

My first and only finish so far is Octopus Treasure Cave.  The fabric is PTP Phantom and there are some color changes to use things I had in my stash instead of buying the kit. I did try to match the original materials where I could, so the only major change is that the top/bottom blackwork is purple instead of green.

Spring Knotgarden was actually the first I started, but... I didn't get too far. :)

And right now I'm working on Beaded Dragonfly Tile.  It may be small, but it's very detailed!  The flower buds in the center contain 20 colors - I counted!  I'm hoping the buds on the border don't have quite so many, but so far it feels just as complex... :)

I hope that's not too many pictures for one post!

Spring Knotgarden

I got on to post this today and I'm soooooo happy to see that Sarah has finished her Part 1 as well!!! :D

I'm stitching mine on 32ct white jobelan with recommended threads, and not beading till the end. Also, there are itty bits missing from circular edges as these are going to feed into the next parts and I'm too lazy to start and stop threads. :D

Spring Knotgarden

Late last week, I started Spring Knotgarden. I finished the beading late last night. It's stitched on 28 ct white Monaco with all the silks converted to HDF.
