New stitchers on the block!

Hi All,

And here they are. My two older girls have been bugging me a while to teach them how to to stitch. I picked up a kids kit and in it were two patterns printed on to 6ct aida so they are sort of stitch by numbers. It is a good idea as there is no pattern to follow so they can jump straight into the stitching.

Progress pictures will follow.

As for my own stitching it was back to Piper this week which means more 310 and 890 with a handful of other colors thrown in.(sorry for the bad photo)
On the plus side large chunks of color stitch up quickly so this page is should pass by quickly.

And so that was Christmas!

Hi All,
Rather then make one huge post tomorrow with everything I thought I would break it up.
The girls had a great day getting spoilt.

Our Lalaloopsy population exploded with 5 new ones added as well as a bunch of 'pocket size' ones.
And a huge thankyou to Abbie Jean who not only brought the dolls you see in the last two photos but she also made them all outfits to go with them. I am hoping our Christmas tree doesn't have to live behind bars next year. I done well with a new handbag (after just using a nappy bag for the last six years) some new clothes and $50 for new stash. Keith wasn't game enough to guess what I wanted in the end lol.

As for Keith amongst other things he got a nerf gun and spent most of the day taking aim at the Christmas tree as well as making plans with our 20 year old neighbour to have a nerf gun rooftop 'war' just proving that boys never grow up.

I will be back tomorrow with the last Wipocalypse report for the year.

Is it Christmas Yet?

Is the question most being asked around here at the moment. So to keep the girls at bay we made some Christmas decorations. Nothing to hard just some beads on a sparkly pipe cleaner:)
So easy it even kept Hannah happy
As for Faery Tales after another week

Kinder Graduation

Hi All, It doesn't seem like that  long ago when I dropped my first born of at kinder and on Wednesday night she graduated.
She is now set to go to school and already counting down the days. On the other hand I could definitely wait a little longer.
For her graduation/concert night we had to bring a plate to share so I made some teddy bear sleighs that the kids loved.
Super easy. Just melt some chocolate to join the mini candy canes to the bottom of the milky ways and then dip the bottom of the teddy in the chocolate and gently press their legs into the milky way. I put coconut on the plate for snow. Depending on the candy canes you get you might have to trim them back a bit.
And for Faery Tales I finished another page so now I'm down to 13 pages.

Happy Birthday Isabella!

Hi All,
After having zero time yesterday to wish my first born Happy Birthday here she is a big girl of 5.
She never fails to amaze us and is such a girly girl.( I don't know where she gets that from). So happy birthday baby and I hope you had a wonderful day.
In Faery Tales news I am almost at the end of this row and then on to the 4th and 5th rows which I plan on stitching at the same time as the above big girl is growing impatient to see the mermaid down the bottom.

Little Kingdom

My girls love watching Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom (here ) and I don't mind it either. Although my fave is Nanny Plum. In this week's copy of English Woman's Weekly (August 9th edition with Oprah on the front) there is a pattern for Gaston the Ladybug
Very cute and fairly easy to do.
And I had to share this photo of my baby who at 13 months decided to stop relying on her sisters to get toys for her and start crawling herself

Australia's next top model...

My first born girl Isabella loves the camera just in case you can't tell and at the the moment her goal in life  is to be a princess and an artist.

And of course Charlotte who actually surprised me by sitting still for her photo

I got the girls some spray bottles that I put diluted paint in so they could spray the canvas and let them add some foam stickers when they dried.Bella's is for her Nanna while Charlotte made hers for her 'bubby' Hannah. Speaking of who
my beautiful baby girl Hannah.

Happy Birthday Charlotte!

Hi All, Today my middle daughter arrived 3 years ago.
She is so hard to get a good photo of. She is our little steam train who won't take no for an answer and stands up for self no matter who is bugging her!All the things that will make her a great adult but makes us want to pull our hair out sometimes.
