Inspire Me...

...and that's exactly what Juliet has done when she set the challenge on Dottie's World today. These are the specs:
"Inspire Me! For this week's challenge I would like you to take inspiration from this photo of yummy cupcakes.

You could focus on the colours, use a cupcake on your work or make a cupcake shaped card - it's up to you. You must include one of the Charmed downloads on your project and please tell us how the photo inspired you in your make"

Made me quite hungry when I saw that picture and I have spent the week dreaming of fluffy pink cupcakes. I love the colours too. I decided to use the entire picture several times on my card.

I used the free Superman (or Cakeman here) George image, I haven't used it before but I have to say that I love it! Cakeman George was coloured in with my Copics, unfortunately I forgot to write the colours down.

I made a circle sentiment and cut the large cupcake on top of the card with my Silhouette.

A little hand stitching here and there with pink thread. Background embossed with a Cuttlebug folder, green ric rac.

Pop over to Dottie's World and join in this challenge.

Thanks for visiting me xx

Bad Blogger - but lots of stuff in this post :o)

Yep, I know I'm a bad blogger (I've been told off), I'm making up for it now with this rather substantial post :o)

Ooohh it's all so GORGEOUS!! Click here for our newsletter.

We have even more projects. Caroline and Tracie have both created some more for you. Click here for the design team projects.

To finish off, here are the latest cards I have created for the challenges on Dottie's World using our downloads. Click here for Dottie's World.

This one was for Juliet's "Pick a Letter" challenge. I chose P for: Punk George, paper, pen, purple, pink, petals, paint and POEM (read it and weep!). I took the opportunity to use one of the new Basic Grey Euphoria papers here. I also used Button Bonanza buttons, Acrylic Paint, Prima Essential 4 flowers, Dovecraft and Basic Grey brads, American Crafts Ribbon, Bazzill cardstock. A normal biro was used to doodle around the edge.

The next three was from my own sketch challenge:

Dottie and George Christmas downloads, Basic Grey Figgy Pudding papers, Basic Grey buttons and brads. "Joy" is K&CO Adhesive chipboard.

Dottie downloads, Basic Grey Figgy Pudding papers, Cuttlebug "Snowflakes" embossing folder, K&Co adhesive chipboard "Christmas".

Basic Grey Sugared papers, Basic Grey fibres, K&Co Wild Saffron paper ribbon, K&Co Adhesive Chipboard "General Birthday", Basic Grey Sugared papers, Basic Grey fibres, K&Co Wild Saffron paper ribbon, K&Co Adhesive Chipboard "General Birthday".

...... and the final one was Louise's "Holes" challenge where I used Bazzill cardstock, my Snowflakes Cuttlebug embossing folder, mesh and ribbon, plus some Prima flowers and a Dovecraft Funky Christmas brad. There is a lot more going on inside the card with several of the download images.

All products used are of course available to buy at Charmed Cards & Crafts.

Father's Day Card

Just wanted to show you a card I made for Dottie's World, using the "George at Work" download bundle (ignore the additional eyeliner, I forgot to trim it lol).

Oh and here is one I made for Sunday's Challenge - Double-Up - using both Dottie and George.

Golfing George

Here is another card using the "George at Work" collection available on our website (click the Dottie blinkie in the sidebar). The George collections are fantastic for all your masculine cards, and lets face it, we all need a little help with those!

Layering used as always, as well as Glossy Accents.
