tach.dé - tach.dé

recorded in february 2009 and released july 2010, the tach.dé kids from Puerto Rico finally have an album. it contains music from their first phases as a group dating from 2006 till 2008 with soundscapes as interludes that were created in the following year. the bulk of the music sounds heavy with some sporadic riff action while other tunes are gentle and melancholic.

Camberwell Now - All`s Well

This Heat ended their musical experiments with their album Repeat. Well, actually, the John Peel sessions and other live bootlegs surfaced the music world years later. But after ending This Heat, drummer Charles Hayward and bassist Trefor Goronwy joined their former sound technician Stephen Rickard who brought with him a "tape switchboard" that made sure the stage they were playing sounded exactly like the recording studio. The lineup? drums, bass, keys and... umm.. a sound engineer? sounds pretty interesting huh? it sure is.

bitchin` nice.

Tarantula Hawk - Untitled (2002)

Spaced out prog with elements of doom/drone, psychedelic rock, post rock, and Neurosis/Isis-esque metal. It's on Neurot, what else do you need to know?

"Instrumental super heavy ritual music, bass-heavy majestic murk with grinding prog rock keyboards and intense, energizing drumming, spacey stretches of ominous gloom... it's ambitious, intense, creepy, and ultimately "prog" in the best sense of the word."

King Crimson - In The Wake Of Poseidon

Another overlooked album that`s full of sonic possibilities. New peaceful beginnings for Robert Fripp but still with his true dark musical nature in full blast. Crazy keyboards roam throughout the whole album and jam sessions galore. Fripp decided to pick up the acoustic guitar for a couple of tunes in this album.
