Chanc the Builder!

We had a crazy idea to save money and do our own rock! Well to make a long story short it was NOT a great idea! It was a dramatic day full of confusion and dirt! We got a small chunk done then decided we QUIT! Anyways this is my hubby hard at work! Once he bought his gloves to protect his "Money Makers," a level to make sure the rocks were just right, and a paint brush because he loved the feeling of being a Archaeologist/Paleontologist he was a hard working man! He did a great job for sure it was just taking forever and we don't have that kind of time! Our house will be done soon! WAHOO!!!

Utah Summer Games 5K

Well as you all know I am totally obsessed with running 5K's now! I will probably never do anything longer than that but for now I am having the time of my life! It was freezing cold in Cedar this weekend so when I had to be there at 6 AM I was a little shook up about it! Well I woke up ate some food and got dressed then I was off to the race! We took a bus up the canyon and got dropped off, I got to ride the bus with a good friend Laura it was a great time, then we lined up, and off we went! Around the last bend I saw Chanc, my mom, dad, and little brother! It was just the boost I needed!

I literally had a burst of energy and Chanc said I was passing people left and right! Hooray!

Well needless to say I beat my time by 2 minutes and 10 seconds! I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THAT! I had a better playlist and ear phones so I will stick to those for the next one!!!!


Sorry some of the pics are blurry but I was running real fast! jk! Chanc was actually running behind me so he could meet me at the finish line! I can't thank my hubby enough for making me truly believe that he is my biggest fan!

Opening Ceremonies

As we were waiting for the Opening Ceremonies Fireworks we got a little carried away with my camera phone! We just kept taking picture after picture but I won't torture you by a slide show of pictures of Chanc and I kissing and Cuddling and Sharon occasionally hopping in, LOL! I had just cut my hair so I was excited to see what it looked like on film!

Holly Madison!

Chanc and I went to Vegas for his Birthday and stayed at Planet Hollywood! It was a fun time to just get out of Cedar and eat some great food and spend some time alone! We had a blast! As we were walking around the Casino there were posters about how Holly Madison was making an appearance at a local sports bar!


We went at Ten and stood around for a while then Chanc used his awesome investigation skills and found out that once she walked the red carpet she would be actually debuting her new season of holly's world and watching it with fans!



So we stuck around! We waited for over an hour! It was worth every second! It was so fun to meet all of the cast! Who knew they were coming to Planet Hollywood to celebrate Chanc's birthday :)




We got to meet her boy bff from the reality show. Laura, who is her room-mate and was also in Playboy. Angel who is her assistant and one of her bff's. And Chanel who is Rob Dyrdek's secretary on his reality show Rob's Fantasy Factory!

New Hair Cut

I finally did it! I had been talking forever about doing it but never took the plunge! I decided to research some cute cuts and off I went to Ashlee's! She put it in a pony and cut it off! I saved it! I am crazy like that! I have had long hair for over six years but I am loving every minute of it! I think Chanc loves it more and more everyday! Its perfect for summer!

Midnight 5K

I have been exercising like crazy the past little while so I thought I would put all of my hard work to work and see how it goes!

I ran a 5K with a couple great friends Sydney Prisbrey and Maryjean Goodspeed and I really was happy about how I did! I had no idea what it would be like so I packed my favorite socks and tennis shoes, made a playlist on my ipod, and took off to St. George!


I thought I could run no longer and I came around a turn and saw my hubby in the distance and I had a huge burst of energy! Just seeing his face there supporting me and there to cheer me on felt great! He has been nothing but supportive through all of it and I love that! Although Chanc isn't much of a runner, he always says running was designed for one thing and that's for when someone is chasing you hee hee! But he still knows that I love to work out and put all of my training to good use! As I crossed the finish line Chanc was there to tell me great job and give me water! What a life saver! Anyway thanks babe for being my #1 fan!!


We ate at Red Robin for dinner, not a great idea, then went to Maryjean's house to warm up a little then headed to the southgate golf course in St. Geezy! We got some sweet glow in the dark stuff which we didn't wear to run in but I had a blast wearing until it was time to go!




My time was 29:33 ish and I was so proud of myself! I wanted to complete it in less than a half hour, so I did it! Well the big problem is now I am an ADDICT! I have already signed up for 5k #2 and I am so excited! It will be down Cedar Canyon for the Utah Summer Games! It is on June 12 so good luck to me :)
