Milestone Birthday – 10 years old – B10d

Found this idea on Pinterest of course!  This is my last Shark punch art card for my 10 year olds!

Stamps: Something to Say (Happy Birthday), Timeless Treasures, Sky is the Limit (clouds), Bring on the Cake for the inside, Perfect Pairing (SAB 2016) for the envelope, Animal Stories for the envelope.

Paper: Smokey Slate, White, Black, Marina Mist.

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray, Marina Mist

Accessories: ½” wiggle eyes, SU Dazzling Details glitter glue, Coluzzle, sponge, Gently Falling EF, Creative Memories Decorative Trimmer.

Punches: Carl for sun, Word Window.

Cut white cardstock 4-1/4” by 8-1/2” to create a top fold card.  Grunge the front with yellow ink and a few blue clouds.

I cut some waves and added glitter glue.  I didn’t do a very big piece as the middle will be covered with the shark.

Cut in half and adhere to card.

I just free handed the body shape.  Trace on to Smokey Slate cs. Trace the eye and mouth placement.

Cut out the body only – erase pencil lines.  Sponge edges gray.  Put through the embossing folder and glue to the card front.

I used an oval Coluzzle to get the top of my mouth pattern.  Trace one black for mouth and one from white for teeth.  Draw teeth.

Cut teeth.  Lay wrong side of teeth to the black mouth.

Trim following the curve of the black, sponge and adhere to the shark.

Add the wiggle eyes and the sentiment.

I splattered a blue envelope with navy acrylic ink then stamped the HB from the Perfect Pairing (SAB 2016) stamp set and a couple whales from the Animal Stories stamp set.

Milestone Birthday – 10 years old - B10b

Stamps: For a Friend.

Paper: White, Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Gray.

Ink: More Mustard, Marina Mist, sponged waves Pacific Point.

Accessories: wiggle eyes, shaving brush for the sky, CB Tiny Bubbles EF, Swiss Dots EF, white gel pen.

Punches: 5-petal, scallop circle for clouds, 1-3/8” circle, large oval, wide oval, sun by Carl.

Font for the number 10 is Calibi size 28.

I basically followed Stamping Inspirations instructions from her blog so I’m not going to re-type it.  To make the head and mouth, punch one white and one gray from the wide oval.  Sponge in gray.  Fold each one in half.

Glue the top half together.  Add the black with the teeth to the inside.  Then add to the body of the shark.

Another fun Shark punch art or is it a Whale punch art to make.  I think it is a shark but not sure!

Milestone Birthday – 10 years old - B10a

I’m going to make Shark punch art or maybe they are Whale punch art cards for my 10 year olds.  For my first one, I followed Blinkin',Thinkin', & Inkin' pattern on her blog.

Body – wide oval cut in half in Basic Gray.

Teeth – large oval punched then snipped with scissors in White.

Eyes – ¼” circle punch in Black, white gel pen highlight.

Lower fins – small oval cut in half.

Top Fin – 1-1/4” circle punch.  Punch again to get curves on both sides (put on a post it note so you can hold on to it).

Tail – Full heart – re-punched on both sides with a large oval (put on a post it note so you can hold on to it).

Sun punch – by Carl in Marina Mist.

Font for 10th – computer generated size 21 in Calibri.  Punched it out with the ½” circle punch.

Stamp – Party This Way with Black ink on Baja Breeze cardstock then punched out with the Word Window punch.  I used the Wish Big phrase from the Bring on the Cake stamp set for the inside.

The card is Baja Breeze.  I cut the Daffodil Delight with the Top Note die, sponged it in gray then put it through the Tim Holtz Rays EF.  I ripped a piece of Marina Mist, sponged it in gray and put it through the Swiss Dots EF.  Added a layer of glue then dipped it in Dazzling Diamonds to the ripped edge.
