James and His Snowman

I would like to welcome my newest follower, Swissie...hope you
enjoy your visits to my blog.

Mmmmm.....not a poinsettia in sight. Instead I have a stamped image
card for a change.
I am a bit disappointed in how the snowflakes and holly DP have turned
out in the photograph. IRL they are so shiny they are almost blinding!

A closer look at our cute little bear and his snowman friend. While I was
colouring this image, I couldn't stop singing that old favourite,
'Frosty The Snowman'.

I chose not to put a sentiment on the front of my card, but instead placed
a peel-off sticker greeting in the inside.

As I mentioned in my previous post John and I performed for 4 hours yesterday afternoon/evening on a golf course, where the temperature was 39oC. We were completely in the open with no nearby shade! At least the gig was not today, as it is 44oC! As predicted, we are very sunburnt, despite the fact I used sunscreen, and also quite dehydrated. (Who said the life of musicians was glamorous?)The party guests enjoyed the music very much, so I guess the 'discomfort' we experienced was worth it.

I will be back in a few days with another Christmas card, and I am sorry to say it features a poinsettia. Until then I wish you "happy crafting".

Hugs,
Jennifer. x
