WE DO DOOBADOO UK CHALLENGE #3, HEARTS AND FLOWERS ......

It is Saturday so that means .....

We have another 

fantastic We Do Doobadoo Challenge! 

And yessss the theme is HEARTS AND FLOWERS

and wow what a great theme, you can make so many different projects with this theme....

And this is what I have made

I had fun altering a bunch of wooden hearts, I made them into a few wallhangers....I started with Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and a few stencils from Dutch Doobadoo...The roses and the honeycomb,The border of the heart....I had a small piece of lace that I peeled of from a different kind of lace.....and the smaller one was just perfect for the borders so I decided to use it...

..worked with Irisdescent Paste to top it all off. The roses are colored with Pink Pearlescent PanPastels and I decided to place a piece of lace and a few butterflies, embellish hearts and the sentiments heart and flowers. Did you know by the way that if you use a layer of Iridescent Paste and heat it with your heattool, you will get a very nice texture on your project.....I love it.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY....

I have altered a Birthday booklet, it happens to be my MIL's birthday today, she is 82 years "young" and I actually made this booklet for her.....

the background is made with Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and the Roses Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo. I just love that Roses stencil.....On top I have played with the White and Black Coarsee Pearlescent PanPastels.. And on top of that I painted with Iridescent Paste to get a shiny top. And offcourse I could not resist to place a cute vintage girly image on the book.

Hey there guys....It is Sunday today, so you probably know what that means eh? Another fabby Challenge over at the 

Premium Craft Brands PanPastel UK Challenge wohoooo ....

This week the theme is ROSES ARE A GIRLS BEST FRIEND....

And this is what I have made for this weeks challenge

 I have altered a square box, into a  Roses Box where you can stuff your small earrings or whatever in. First I worked on the box with Gesso and used Acrylic Paints to color the box. Over the Acrylic Paint I worked with Light Modelling Paste.

 And played with the Roses Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo, The roses are colored with Mixed PanPastels and I am happy with the results. And offcourse I could not resist to put some crackle on top to give the roses an extra fragile look, cause Roses are fragile don't you think.

So here is the result of the top of my Roses Box, I played with the Graph-It Shake it Pen, a little swirl underneith the butterflies and the roses ....you can see em even better don't you think.....And to finish I placed some lace around the borders of my box. So what do ya think did I give ya some inspiration for the challenge.....I had so much fun making my box, you wanna have fun too? This week the theme is FLORA AND FAUNA 

And this is what I have made for this weeks challenge

I was playing with some butterflies, I just love them and I wanted to give them a nice fresh and bright colour. So I mixed some panpastels together and this is what the color turned out to be. What I did was, worked on the background with Gesso and colored the buttterflies with Greenish and Blue Pans....

On top of the PanPastels I placed the Roses stencil and took the Light Modelling Paste to get some structure onto the butterflies....

And might I add that worked really well. And to finish my butterflies I took the Graph-It Splash pen and placed some dots and made a few little flowers......

And the last layer I added was the Irisdescent Paste to give the butterflies a nice finishing touch....I hope you like my butterflies, I am very pleased with this weeks project and I hope I am giving you some inspiration on what to make for this weeks challenge over at the Premium Craft Brands PanPastel Challenge. you wanna have fun too.....

It's Saturday so that means we have another

So this fortnight we have a wonderfull theme, the theme is ribbons.....and I had some ribbons anddddd lace to play with.....

 I have played with the roses stencil, I wanted to know if I could work with it on glas with Light Modelling Paste and yesssss it worked very well, just the way I wanted it to be.

 I have placed some lace onto the glass too to make it a bit more vintagy

On top of the Lid I put a huge lace flower

And this is what I have made....

I have worked on a canvas and made the background with lots of Gesso, Modelling Paste and Metallic PanPastels. 

Worked with the Roses and Butterfly stencil and I just love them. I even had a play with a metall tool from Premium Craft Brands to create the background behind the butterfly to finish my project.
I just love playing with stencils and this one is one of my favourites, if you visit the Premium Craft Brands store you can a lot of other stencils right there waiting for you.
