A Folded Card For You......Prairy Fairy Design Blog and more

Hey there guys, it is my turn this week to show you a folded card on the

Prairy Fairy Design Blog 

I made this card once a long time ago. ...and with the fabulous Digistamp from Roberta I thought I would make another one.....and this time one for a guy.....why not eh? I think this would be just great for a guy.....and my favourite, it's Vintagy....

So I started out with...

Picking the digistamp that I wanted to use.....and I colored these fabby Poppies with Spectrum Noirs and Distress Markers.....the borders were worked on with Distress ink.

The papers that I used are from the Prima Marketing, Botanical Collection.....I really love these papers and the fabulous colors they have. They really give such a Vintagy look.....I used an self cut Oval to work with, it is a bit bigger then the image and you can make it as small as you want to or bigger. 

Oke here we go, it is very simple....I took a piece of cardstock and folded it just like you do to make a card.  Since I am Dutch I will use the Dutch centimeters....so you fold a piece of cardstock from 15 x 15 cm 

The one side you fold again, just take half of it and fold the paper.

Then you get this......see

So what did I do? I first worked on the front of the card, used the papers for it and after I got the paper on top, I cut an Oval out in the middle (or where you want it to be) out of the Designpaper. 

So the back of the card looks like this....you fold the piece that you cut out just like a "normal" card back to the front. 

Then you get this......from the front.

So when you have decorated the two sides of the Folded Card you get something simular like this.

I am really pleased about it and had lots of fun coloring and decorating the card.

A few bows from a piece of  lace and a few pearls on top and my Folded Card is done.....

Midweek Reminder for Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge #71, Anything but a card

Hey there guys, here is a Midweek Reminder for you all to join into the fun at the Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge.....you still have another week to join into the fun,

This is what I made for your inspiration.....

I played with the beautifull new release from Roberta, she is called Fairy Meiling with heart...isn't she just adorable.....I colored her with my Spectrum Noirs....it has been a while since I colored anything but it was a lot of fun.......I placed her on a nestie and put some lace underneith......

And some lace underneith my project....what it is you will see in a minute oke? Placed some pearls on top of the double layer of lace......

And what about this English Rose....I just love it, it was cut with the Die from Marianne Designs.....and I am loving it......colored with Distress inks and the papers from Pion Designs......some pearls on top.

And I worked with some butterflies that I punched and embossed with the Punches from Nellie Snellen.....and yep again some pearls.......

And here is my completed Project...yep I made a doorhanger......this would make a fabby present for a little fairy or princess hihihi. I hope you like her.....I know I do LOL......

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge #69 Things with *Sparkly* Things and more....

Hey there lovely ladies, here we go with the last challenge for you in the YEAR 2011.....wohoooo
It is Friday so that means we have another fabulous challenge on the Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge Blog...this week our lovey hostess is Tracey, she makes the most wonderfull cards and now she is the hostess for this fortnights challenge ........the Theme that Tracey picked is....

Things With Sparkly Wings....so whatever you make it has to have sparkly wings wheather it is a bird, angel or girl or whatever as long as it has sparkly wings....
I can tell ya your going to have some fun with this one....I had hehehe..
Oke here we go...

This is what I made for the challenge

I had these flowers in my closet for a long time so it was time that I was gonna use them eh? and the little charmes I attached underneith.....so you can say I am still in a Christmas spirit so this will be my last Christmassy card.....for this year anyways.....

And how about this cutie.......it is one fabulous digistamp that Roberta made, you know our Queenie from Prairie Fairy......she makes the most wonderfull digistamps and you can purchase them here......it will take you to the Prairie Fairy Design Store.

 Here she is a little bit closerby....so you can see what I did....yep I made here into a 3D fairy......and colored her with my Spectrum Noirs.....do love those pens.......and her wings are real sparkly and worked on with stickles.......placed some pearls and I think she is beautifull....isn't she?

MIDWEEK REMINDER CHALLENGE #68 HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS.....

Hey there guys, my goodness it completely slipped my mind that the Midweek Reminder had to be placed on the FAIRY FUN FRIDAYS BLOG.....must be the Christmas Jitters eh LOL......but here it is finally........OOPSSS.....

I think this will be my last Christmas Card this year.....or maybe not??? LOL....

This is what I made

This is the top of my card what do ya think about this eh? I love the lace yep I do.....hehehe and the little buttons.....how convenient eh? for a Christmassy card......hihih

And offcourse for Christmas there has to be Christmas Joy.....I stamped the sentiment with a white Paintdabber and heatembossed it with the white embossing powder.

And here is my Christmassy Card when it is finished....wohyoooo really love the way the colors came out....yep I am pleased hehehe how is this possible eh? Must be the Christmas Spirit that touched my heart......

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge #66

Hey there guys, I know I am soooo late with posting my card for the Prairie Fairy Fun Friday Challenge...but have been very busy......finally here it is.....though...
Oke guys, This week at the Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge Blog our Hostess is Kendra....and Kendra wants us to show us our Fall Creations...so I made a Fall Card....
I have used such a sweet image from Roberta's Digistamp Shop.....check this out...She is called Purrfect Friends and you can find her here.
So this is what I made for this fortnight.....The pictures are not that great, I am sorry about that...but he..it is dark outside LOL....

Isn't she just a cutie......I think so hihihi.....I have colored her with the spectrum noirs......and distressed the borders......placed some lace underneith.....

I made this "flower" with the little leaves from the Martha Stewart Punch...and placed a button on top with a bronze colored flower......I think it worked out well. LOL but that is my opinion hehehe.

So here is my card when it is finished.....I am totally pleased with the card, thanksss Kendra for this wonderfull challenge.....I really had fun making my card......I have used the Fall paperpad from K&C Company, Tim Coffey's specialty papers....really love the fall colors in it......

MIDWEEK REMINDER PRAIRY FAIRY FUN FRIDAYS.....and more....

Hey there ladies and gents....here we are today with a MIDWEEK REMINDER for Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays....the challenge is Pink and Distressed and I had lots of fun of making a reminder card for you..
This is what I made...

I have played with Roberta's fabulous Digi called.....Purrrrfect Friends....and don't you just love this cutie....you can find her here in Roberta's digishop.....I have played with my Specci's and had lots of fun with the pink colors.....even though I am a purple girl LOL......

I have worked with these embossed butterflies and doubled them up......and the sun gives it that special effect.....

And here is my card when it is finished.....I have used some "old" paperpad that was laying around in my closet, I even forgot that I had them......every border is distressed with the pink colors and on the side of Gilly I have used the Martha Stewart Punch....a little piece of ribbon and my card is done.....

Hey there girls and guys, I know I know.....again I am very late, I am on Summerbreak from work but I have the feeling that I have toooo little time and tooo much to do...but oke here we go..
We have another wonderfull challenge on the Prairie Fairy FUN Fridays Challenge Blog.....our Hostess for this fortnight is Lori A. and she has a fun Inspirational photo.....check this out....

I really had fun with this one Lori, thanksss sweetie....

So here we go with this one....

I have played with this Bath 'n' Bubbles Gilly......don't you just love this cutie.....I do.....and Roberta made this fab digi, if you want to see more of Roberta's fabulous Digistamps you should check out her store....right here....and you will see lots and lots of fabulous drawn digistamps that our Queenie made for us all to play with....wohoooooooo. I colored Gilly with my copics and used the Decorative Chalks for the background.

And here we have the whole "enchelada" LOL.....I worked with the papers from  Marianne Design, the bluish kind.....and some yellow is in there too......and offcourse I placed some roses too......underneith Gilly I placed some lace....I couldn't resist .....and that's it.....I thought the papers that I have used were busy enough.. Prairie Fairy Fun Friday Challenge #55, Wedding and more.......

Hiya ladies and gents, here we have another fabulous challenge from the

 Prairie Fairy Fun Friday Challenge Blog.....

Our hostess for this week is Kelly....and the theme for the challenge is A Wedding....
we would like you to make anything that has to do with a WEDDING....so get your thinking cap on and surprise us with your wonderfull creations.......
This is what I made for the challenge......

I have worked with this great sentiment from Roberta......I just love it and it is such a romantic sentiment....check this out in Roberta's digishop ladies and gents....and offcourse there are a lot more......Roberta made some fabulous new digistamps for you to play with so Check it out.......on top of the heart I used the fabulous romantic lace....with pearls...I just love this lace.....
I have placed the sentiment on a heart doily, worked on the borders with distress inks......just gives your stuff that bit extra....

On the top of the card I have placed some flowers with a little bit of metal on it.....the papers are from the Vintage Paperpad that I had laying around in my closet.......

And what do you think about the lock and key......I have colored them with copics and used the crackle accents on top.......the little shelfs are just for fun...
The bottom border is made with the EK succes Fleur de Lis Punch......and colored with distress ink.

And this is my finished card....and I am pretty pleased about it, hahaha and that does not happen often....so what do you think???? you likey?????

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays, Challenge #52, More then one Fold and more....

Hiya guys, it is time for another wonderfull biweekly challenge on the

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge Blog.....

This week our teamie Dorte is the hostess and she would like everyone to make, create something with more then one fold....offcourse  I have used a fabuloud digistamp from our Queenie Roberta, I have used the little baby boy.....I will get to him in a minute......
I thought that this freebie sentiment is a perfect fit for this project that I made for this weeks challenge......
I have used the papers from Graphic 45 they are sooooo great, I just fell in love with those papers.....the lace is from the Etsyshop from my dear teamie.....and I really love those too.....

This is what I made, I got the pattern from a very sweet lady and she had made this babybox as well...I thought it looked so great that I had this project on my to do list.....so I made it ....you can even place little babysocks in the little drawer.....

And here we have the little cute guy that I was talking about....just check out the shop from Roberta and you can find this little guy in her shop...I have colored him with copic ciao's and really had fun making it. And the "old" buttons I found on an old necklage......I know I should not have but I cut that thing into pieces LOL and now I have a few of those wonderfull buttons......

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge #52

Hey there ladies and gents, here we are with another wonderfull challenge at the

I have used these two adorable little girls......aren't they just georgous.....I have colored both of the girls with copic ciao's and cut them out of the paper......the papers that I have used are from the Basic Grey Curio Paperpack. And I just love these colors.....the ribbon is from our cheapest store in Holland, I think it is a fabulous store for crafters....LOL.....

Don't you just love this sentiment........Lynne made it for us girls especially for this challenge...thank you Lynne.....I really like it a lot......

I have colored these cuties with copic ciao's and really  had fun coloring them.

The background is worked on with Decorative Chalks......also lots of fun to do that.

And this is whole card......I have used those fabulous papers again, I really like the colors a lot and they remind me of the spring.....the flowers are from the Retro Flower Punch and I have used the smallest en middle punch....a pearl in the middle and the card is done.....

This is what I made for this weeks challenge.....

Isn's she just georgous......I think so and those little ducklings....sooo sweet....I colored them with my copics and used the Decorative Chalks on the background.....

This is the side of the card, I worked on it with the flowers from the Retro Flower Punch and the border is made with the Punch from Martha Stewart......and in the middle of the flower a little gem...

And this is my finished project ......The papers are from Making Memories, Flutter....don't you just love these colors......and I added a little piece of lace....and on the other side I worked with the Martha Stewart punch too....to finish it.....

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge # 49, Oh So Spring and more....

Hiya ladies and gents, welcome to another wonderfull challenge on the

This is what I made this week.

What do you think about this cutie Gillian......I really love her, colored her and the chickies with the copic ciao's and used the Decorative Chalks in the background.....

Around the borders of the image I have worked with the Paper Distresser, such a nice tool to use on all of your cards.....and you can purchase Gillian in the Store from Roberta, she has lots of cute digistamps that you can purchase....so go ahead and check it out oke......

And yep this is my finished card.....I love the bright colors and soft ones in this paper....I have written the sentiment myself and used some sparkles on it.

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays, Challenge #48 It's my party ......

Hiya ladies and gents..here we go with another fabulous challenge at the

Prairie Fairy Fun Friday Challenge Blog....

and this time the challenge is called "It's my party"  This week Beverly is our hostess and you gotta check out all of the great creations that my teamies made wohoooo...
So I decided to make a card for my youngest daughter Shannon.....See we are having our birthday on the same day hehehe.....next Thursday, so this weeks theme was very handy to make a card for Shannon....so here it comes.....

How about this little ducky??? Isn't he cute......

And how about this little Ducky??? They are really party animals....

They are called Dandy and Deanna Ducky and if you click the linky it will take you to the store of Roberta, she has these two cuties in her store and lots and lots more.....hehehe....if you want to purchase them go check it out oke? I colored Dandy and Deanna with copics and placed them on a nestie.....and placed a few roses .....

And in the middle you can see the sentiment that we got from Lynne, so we could play with it....thank you Lynne really love this one......I have placed a few roses in the middle of the sentiment that is also placed on a nestie...

So this is my card for this week.....I have used the paper distresser around the the borders .....just love that little thing to make the papers look a little older.....the papers are from Making Memories and is called Flutter.....don't you just love those colors?
