Hiya Ladies, I must tell you wow what an amazing respons we had on the first challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show....it is unbelieveble......farout and just fantabulous....(hihih just learned a new English word hihihi)....but ehhhh lets go to another fabulous challenge at

Your Studio490 Style

I did not think that I could come up with something, I don't have any stuff from Wendy Vecchi but I gotta tell ya ladies, you don't need to have any stuff from Wendy causeeee...you can make your own Wendy Vecchi style....or Studio490 Style...that's what I did.....

So I was sitting at the table and thinking what I could make....and suddenly my fingers started to ich.....and I got some cardboard and started to color is with my Distress inks....a few colors I used.....I punched a few flowers from the Retro Flower Punches and started to color those too..and yep I made my own colored papers and flowers.....wow never knew I could do that but I did.....jippieee....SO ladies if I can do that.....YOU can too.....

These are my punched out Retro Flowers and I used Tim Holz Distress inks all over it....and the little stiched lines are from the gelly pen, the heart of the flower is a gem. And the button is from my mom's nittingbasket (hahaha don't even know if this is the right word...)

And this is the other flower on the other side of my project...placed some lace underneith......

These hearts are from the Nestabillities I cut them in my cuttlebug...and yep also colored the hearts with Tim Holz Distress inks...and placed a little rope on the heart and a few headpins on top.

Now I hear ya all thinking what in the blazes name did she make......hihihih...in a minute you'll know...

Well this became a very special project for me....

yep...this handsome man is my Father and the lovely bride is my Mom...don't they look absolutely stunning......I think so.....why is this so special ....??? well my Father passed away in '95 so this is very special for me....So I made a photoframe from my Mom and Dad........and I must say I am very pleased with the result.....And I can assure you that, that doesn´t happen often so I am really pleased....

Even made my own holder for the card....never done that before either....

Recycling a Cappucino can.......

Hiya ladies, so I was having fun with a Cappucino Can...don't know how you all call it but it is a thing were the cappucino powder is in.....I got it from one of my co workers, and tommorrow my mother in law is having her birthday....she becomes 77 years of age.....and I asked her what she wanted for her birthday...but she did not have a clue....she said she has everything that she wants....so I thought I will make something for her....Well I can tell you that I was sitting down at the table and had a few startingproblems hihihi...so silly I did  not know where to begin....and pfffff finally I came up with something.....my Mojo was taking a walk I quess......

Hai Ladies, gisteravond heb ik veel plezier gehad aan het bewerken van een Cappucino Blik....Ik had het blik van mijn collega meegekregen....morgen is mijn schoonmoeder jarig, ze wordt 77 jaar.....en ik had haar gevraagd wat ze voor haar verjaardag wilde hebben.....maar ze had echt geen idee....ze zei ze heeft alles al wat ze graag wil....dus ik dacht laat ik eens wat voor haar gaan maken....Dus ik ging zitten bij de tafel pfffff en ik wist dus echt even niet hoe ik moest gaan beginnen zeg....en eindelijk...ja hoor had ik wat in mijn hoofd.....mijn Mojo was zeker even een eindje aan het wandelen ihihihihi

Sorry for this photo...but Tilda looks a little weird like this...that is because she is placed on to the round can. So I used this little beauty....I think she is so cute.....from the Magnolia Winterkit.....I colored her with my copics ...

Sorry voor deze foto hoor....Tilda ziet er een beetje raar uit zo....maar dat komt omdat ze op een rond blik geplaatst is.....Maar ik heb deze schoonheid gebruikt....ik vind haar zo lief....van de Magnolia Winterkit...ik heb haar ingekleurd met mijn copics....

                                                          

So I used the little heart from the Winterkit Too, also colored it with the copics......and placed the letters on top of the hearts......For You........

I placed a little piece of ribbon on top of the hearts......and placed the hearts on my project......

Ik heb het hart van de Winterkit ook gebruikt...ook gekleurd met mijn copics, en met de cuttlebug de letters uitgestanst....en op de hartjes geplaatst...For You......

Ook een paar stukjes lint gebruikt bij de hartjes en deze weer op het blik geplaatst....

                                                      

And this is how it looks when I placed the hearts on the can....I placed 3 rows of ribbon onto the can.....My hubby said he thinks it is to much......3 ribbons.....but I do like it.......

En dan ziet het er zo uit.......Verder heb ik nog 3 stukjes lint gebruikt.......mijn man zei al ik vind het te druk......3 keer een lintje....maar ik vind het wel gaaf.....

                                                        

And this is the back of the can.....I used some roses and put some distress ink on it.....to make the color a little browner....and they were white flowers hihih but not anymore, also used the ink on them....and a heart embellishment....

En dit is de achterkant van het blik......Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van roosjes....en heb ze wat gekleurd met distress inkt....om ze wat bruiner te maken....en de witte bloemetjes ihih zijn dus niet meer wit...ook daar wat distress inkt op gebruikt en onderaan een hartjes embellishment...

                               

And this is from upclose......

I made this picture so you could see what is on top of the can...I got the biggest roses that I had and placed them on top of the can....and a few rosebuds.....colored them with a bit of distress ink ....

Ik heb deze foto gemaakt zodat jullie kunnen zien wat er bovenop het blik, op de deksel zit.....ik heb de grootste roosjes die ik had gepakt en ze er bovenop geplaatst, met de rosebuds.....en ze wat gekleurd met distress inkt.

So and here she is.....Tilda on the Bonbon Can.......I used the Origins Paperpad from Basic Grey...wohooooo such nice colors in there to play with......And to finish my project I put the Bonbons in the can and closed the lit, cause otherwise there wouldn't be any choclat left behind hihihi.......so Today we went to my mother in laws house and celebrate her birthday.....I gave her the bonbon jar and a card to go with it...made with the same papers......with the anyone for anya on it.....and thank goodness she loved it......

En dit is ze dan geworden....Tilda op de Bonbon Pot....Ik heb het Origins Paperpad van Basic Grey weer gebruikt....wohoooo....zulke mooie kleurtjes om mee te spelen....en om mijn projectje af te maken heb ik er bonbons in gedaan en de deksel er maar gauw opgedaan, anders zou er niet veel overblijven denk ik..hihihi... dus vandaag gingen we naar mijn schoonmoeder toe om haar verjaardag alvast te vieren..Ik heb haar de bonbon pot gegeven en een bijpassende kaart met dezelfde kleurtjes, die met ayone for anya erop.....en gelukkig vond ze haar kadootje helemaal supersssss.....
