A Card for a Man.......Een kaart voor een man xxx

Hallo bloggers, weer even een post van mij, de afgelopen weken weer lekker aan het kleuren geweest en enkele kaartjes gemaakt. Dit is er eentje van.

Hello bloggers, another post from me, I have been coloring for the last couple of weeks and made a few cards with it. This is one of them....

Deze keer heb ik een mannenkaart gemaakt en ik zat te denken wat moet ik nou maken voor iemand die van dieren houdt, lekker in het bos wandelt en toen kwam dit idee. Een beetje stoer en toch ook leuk met de herten erin.

Ik heb gekozen voor de kleuren blauw en groene Distress inkt, de achtergrond heb ik bewerkt met sentiment stempels en met stencils. En natuurlijk mag de crackle ook niet missen....Een paar rendieren gekleurd en ook wat crackle erop gebruikt. Als laatste de tekst erop geplakt en klaar is mijn kaart. Ben er best tevreden over als je bedenkt dat je toch eigenlijk niet zo vaak een mannenkaart maakt. 

This time I made a card for a man, I was thinking what I could make for a guy who likes animals and loves to walk in the woods....well this idea popped up. A bit tough but also nice for a man. I chose the colors blue and green Distress ink, I edited the background with sentiment stamps and stencils. And of course the crackle should not be missed .... A few reindeer colored and also used some crackle on it. Finally, the text is pasted on it and my card is ready. I am quite satisfied when you consider that you don't actually make a men's card that often.

So what do I have in store for you this week....
I made a Journal Page this time...

Are you ready for it.....

Here I go....

Hey there guys, for today's challenge I have made a Journal Page, with yep lots of butterflies that I made with clay, gave them a color and painted them with PanPastels and placed them onto my journal page. 

So the background of my Journal Page is colored with PanPastel the light colors, On top I have worked with a stencil and Light Modelling Paste. I have colored the plants with PanPastels and the dots on the background too. 

Last but not least I have placed a sentiment. It is a bit out of my leaque though making a Journal Page, I still need lots of practice I think. I do hope that I have given you some inspiration by showing you and telling you guys how I made this project.

So this is what I made for your inspiration.....

So this time I made a little something WITHOUT a butterfly lol....can you believe it? Anyways, I made a little notebook or I altered a notebook.

I worked my way from a plain notebook to a colored one with the use of PanPastels, Gesso, Light Modelling Paste, Iridescent Paste, a stencil with flowers and some sentiments.

What I did was, I started out with Gesso on the back of the Notebook.......so when that was dried up I colored it with the Magenta PanPastel, The next layer I worked with was Light Modelling Paste with a stencil of flowers, just love flowers too.....and I had to wait for that to dry too....so after that, I finished the back of the Notebook with Iridescent Paste.....to give it a bit of a shine....

So the front of the Notebook was worked on the similar way I did the back.....but....this time I worked on the stencil twice with the Modelling Paste and a layer of Crackle to give it a more like a dimensional look...

You can see it better on this picture right? The last layer for the front of the Notebook was offcourse Iridescent Paste to give it a bit of a shine .....and last but not least a few sentiments. The pieces of paper where I stamped them on were colored with PanPastels too.

This is what I have made......

I had loads of fun making this Spring colored Frame. I have started with the background with one layer of Gesso, than I colored it with the Pearlescent Green and Orange, another layer of Light Modelling Paste and honeycomb stencil and another layer with Pearlescent Pans, for the next layer I played with White Coarse and Iridescent Paste, to give it a bit of a shine.

Than for the centre of the frame I colored the background yep again with the Pearlescent Pans and stamped a sentiment on top. Than finished it with the Gel medium. Also in the center of my frame I played with a few fabby butterflies from The Wendy.....and yep they are one of my favourites....

I gave them the pearlescent green and orange colour. I worked on them with crackle accents and some 3D solution to give it a bit of diversity.  And to finish I painted the word with white paint Beautifull with the Graph It Shake Marker Glitter Gold and did the same with the tiny Dutch Doobadoo butterflies.

PANPASTEL UK CHALLENGE #37 SOME BLUE...

This is what I made...

I got this sentiment stamp from a dear friend, isn't it just lovely.......

I made this butterfly, worked on it with lots of Gesso, Moddeling Paste, the fabulous new stencil from Premium Crafts Brands called Circle of Doilies......( You should really try the stencil out I know you will have loads of fun with it) and lots of Spray inks from Dulysion and the white PanPastel....it was not that hard to make but it took a while before everything was dry and I could take a picture of my project. I just love butterflies and working on this wooden one was a very nice challenge for me. PANPASTEL UK CHALLENGE #25, LOTS OF LAYERSSSS

Hey guys today it is Sunday so that means we have another fabulous Challenge over at the

This week the theme of the challenge is LOTS OF LAYERS.....so you can make whatever you want to aslong as it has everything to do with LOTS OF LAYERS......and this is what I made......

So what I did was.....I made a Tag....with lots of layers......first I started out with Gesso....used the Light Modeling Paste but was not pleased....so started over again....and used lots of Gesso, played with Dyan Reavealy's Dylusions Spray's and on top Crackle and yep again Sprayed ink on top.....The sentiment is from Tim Holtz his Philosopy Tag's.....

How about The Wendy's Butterfly, cannot help myself just had to use another fabby butterfly from The Wendy.....on top of the butterfly I played with Dylusions Spray, Ink, Crackle and Glossy Accents...and this is the result.....love lots of layers, I allways play with lots of layers.....you should try it too, it is way too much fun. 

This piece of the Tag was fun to make too....I have used the Heart Circle Stencil and on top of the hearts I worked with Glossy Accents...to give it some dimension.....the sentiment is from Tim Holtz chit chat stickers.
