PREMIUM CRAFT BRANDS CHALLENGE # 1, ANYTHING GOES, FROSTY FINISH

Hey there guys, Happy New Year to you all....we have another fabulous challenge for you it will be the first challenge over at the

Our generous sponsor is Premium Craft Brands and wow she has a fabulous prize for one winner

Right then, on to this weeks challenge which is

Anything goes
with a frosty finish

This is what I made

I worked on a box and made it a Frosty one, at least I think so that you can actually see the frostiness on it lol......The first layer that I added to the box is the Gesso one......waited untill it was dried up and then played with the Iridescent Paste....it gives a nice shimmer to the box as you can see on the picture....after I worked with the Glossy Gel.......

after that layer was dry I placed the heartshaped stencil on the box and worked on it with the Modelling Paste....this way you can see the hearts in a circle....I placed the embossing powder on top and it also has a nice shimmer in it. As you can see on this picture.....the blue PanPastel was added in between the heartshaped stencil. And offcourse I could not resist to play with The Wendy Vecchi's butterfly.....as you might know I just love butterflies, so why not a frosty one. So on top of the butterfly there is Blue PanPastel and the Metallic Silver one and a layer of Crackle Accents to give it a frosty look. I think it looks pretty good eh?

So and here is another picture of the side of the box, so you can see the Iridescent Paste shimmer and being frosty....on top I placed a piece of lace and worked on that aswell with Metallic PanPastel and the blue PanPastel. And there you have it, my finished project for this first challenge in the New Year for Premium Craft Brands...and if you wanna have fun too you can come over to the Premium Craft Brands Challenge Blog and join into the fun and while your there check out my amazing teamies creations guys, they made some fabulous projects for your inspiration. The theme is CHRISTMAS PREPARATIONS.....
This is what I made

How about some Christmas Ornaments eh? It just popped into my head to make some Christmas ornaments....I just started crafting and it all became clear to me what I wanted to make....This is a metall heart can you believe it? I altered the heart with those fabulous Christmas papers from Tim Holtz, it is a part of a nice stack of papers from Tim Holtz his combined stack.....I placed the Crackle Glitter Rock Candy on top of the image and worked on the sides with some snow tex that I still had from last years Christmas. At the bottom I placed the fabby metall filigree.

This is the other side of the first Ornament that I made...placed the Christmas image in the shape of a heart and placed Linda's fabulous lace as decoration. At the bottom a Snowy star, it is a Metall Filigree and I bend 3 parts at the back and colored the front with Crackle Paint and Clear Glitter Rock Candy....it really is too bad that you cannot tell on the picture....it really gives the ornament a shiny glittery look....

Oke onto the 2nd Christmas Ornament, I really love this one because the image is soo cute with Santa and the smiling excited child who gets all those presents.....and offcourse I just love the lace and the snowflake....

And onto the frontside of the 2nd Ornament. This image is also from the Paperpack from Tim Holtz....it has so many fabulous images in it that you can use for making ornaments.....at the bottom another Metall filigree embellishment to finish my Christmas Ornament......and I had loadsssss of fun making them. I am sure they will end up in our Christmas Tree in a few weeks.....can't hardly wait when the time comes......So guys you wanna have loadsss of fun too.....then I suggest you just have to come over to the Frilly and Funkie Challenge Blog and join into the fun and while your at it, just check out my amazing teamies projects, your gonna love them cause they are just fabulous and they give you so many wonderfull ideas for Christmas......

So now we go on to the challenge and this week the theme is....

Mixing with Mediums......

This is what I made....

I made a card .....it has been a long time since I made a card so I thougth why not.....

I worked on the background with Metallic PanPastels and Gesso with Iridescent Paste. On top another layer with Metallic Pans.and to finish the background I played with Crackle...

the flowers were made with Versamark Embossing ink and white embossingpowder. The background I made with the Metallic Pans and water, I love the effect it gives.

The butterflies were worked on with Metallic Pans and Iridescent Paste. Do you see what the Irisdescent Paste does to the butterflies? It gives a nice shiny effect on them and together with the Metallic PanPastels is just looks great......I think....

So this is my finsihed card, I love the simplicity of it. I really like the effect the embossed flowers and the background of the flowers shows. Metallic PanPastsels really work on corrugated card and gives a very nice look even with Crackle on them.....so you can use Irisdescent Paste on lots of products too. I choose to work with the corrugated card and paper. If you want to know exactly HOW you can use the different mediums then you should check out the Challenge Blog for more information, you can find everything on the blogpost from Nikky.

So here you can see the embossed flowers even better. And to finish my card I placed a piece of rope and some lace......So I had fun making my card, you wanna have fun too....then come on over to the Premium Craft Brands Blog and join into the fun and don't forget to sign up for the Candy that is up for grabs.....

Have loads of fun and don't forget to check out my amazing teamies and what they have made for you for your inspiration.
