I have made a farewell card for a colleque of mine. She is flying into a new adventure and therefor I have played with lots of vibrant distress ink colors and decided to work with the Collage Queen for a Day stampset and the Textures Gallore.

First I colored the background with lots of vibrant colors with Distress Ink....

Then I stamped the Vintage Text sentiment stamp onto the background

After I was finished and happy with how it looked, I stamped the Collage Queen for a Day stamp here and there on the background. And offcourse I stamped the Texture Galore Stamp in between the flying hearts.
When I was finished I used a fineliner to go all around my card and placed some stripes onto it. And in each heart I have written a small sentiment for her to read on her journey.......
I sure hope you like my card, I know for a fact my colleque likes it a lot lol....

POLKADOODLES TUTORIAL CHRISTMAS CARD WITH THE FANCY BAUBLE AND MORE XXX

Hello there it is my Turn (Terry) to show you how you can easily make a beautiful Christmas card.

I started by editing a piece of cardstock with 4 colors of acrylic paint with my brayer. I wanted to use green, orange, purple and white, but to my surprise the main color really turned purple with some white. If you look closely you can still see some green through it but the orange color has really disappeared hahah

And here from upclose so you can see the bits of green .......so I thought I would continue with purple and white colors, I love the color purple so no worries at all....

Of course only purple and white paint in the background becomes a bit dull, so I thought I'd have to take out the Texture Galore stamp set and stamp it on the card with the Distress ink here and there.

And what I did afterwards, I punched the Craft Die Fancy Bauble and glued it to the card. When it was a bit dry......

I treated the Baubles with Crackle to give it a glassy look. If you look closely on the picture you can see that it has this glassy look. I still had the idea that it was not finished on the background so I stamped a little star all over my card with the Purple Distress Ink and also I used the Doodle Borderstamp set all around my card and I even could hang up my Baubles how about that....those stamps are so versatile...I think everyone has that feeling sometimes when you are working on your project and you look at your background that you think it  is not "full" enough hihih

And with the Gnome 25 December stamp set stamped on my Christmas Card it was finished....I am pretty pleased about it. I hope I have been able to give you some inspiration again and have shown that you can make a pretty Christmas Card with not too many stamps or dies.  Now of course I am very curious what you will make with acrylic paint, stamps and distress ink.

And I have played with these amazing products:

POLKADOODLES TUTORIAL ON HOW TO MAKE A QUICK CHRISTMAS CARD WITH STARS XXX

Hi There it is my turn (Terry) to post a little tutorial on the

Today I have a Christmas Card covered with Snowflakes for you......

I started out with 3 different colors of blue, This time I made a Christmas card with blue Snowflakes instead of White, something else right? So did you ever make Blue Snowflakes instead of the traditional white ones? This time I opted for a simple card that can be made quickly. That's very nice if you started making Christmas cards late.

This time I worked with 2 different stencils in the background. Distress ink works perfectly with the Polkadoodles stencils. The first one I used is the Snowflake Border Stencil  .
The different sizes of snowflakes work very well for this card, I can say that I am pretty pleased with it. Sure hope that you like it too though.

...I stamped the tiny star with the Holly Flourish Stampset

And to finish my card I stamped the Sentiment from the  There's Snowplace like Home stamp set from on my Christmas Card. Before I glued it onto my card I placed a dark blue cardstock underneith so the Sentiment would pop out of the card....and I think it does....what do you think?? Did it work out? Or not.....Please tell me all about it oke ...

So this was my inspirational Tutorial for your inspiration, offcourse I cannot wait untill you show what you have made.

Thank you so much and please show you Christmas cards, I can't hardly wait....

Thank you for your time and have fun Crafting...

POLKADOODLES CRAFTS AND UNIQUE STAMPS, TUTORIAL on How to create a VINTAGE INSPIRED CARD WITH TEXTURES

Hello there, today it is my turn, Terry, to give you some inspiration on the Polkadoodles Inspiration Blog. I have made a vintage looking card with lots of soft colors, made with lots of the newest stamps and stencil. How I made it I will show you in this Tutorial

I started out by cutting a 15 x 15 cm piece of paper. Here I started to work with some colors, divided the colors by spraying some water on it until I thought the colors were soft enough. At first I wanted to use all 4 colors, but in the end I used only 3 colors....

Before using the stencil, I first ensure that the paper has a layer of Gesso, wanted to "lighten up" the background color a bit.....

Then I thought that first I could stick some ripple paper on my background paper, then the pigment powder and with some water the colors ran nicely on the paper. I also used a paintbrush to "help" the water with the color run through the rest of the background.......

So finally I was ready to play with the Number Collage Stencil

Do you know that most crafters are busy with something and suddenly have in their head that it still needs a color? So I had that too lol.....I added some white paint on the background

and some crackle had to be added on there too. Then I grabbed the Vintage Text stamp and stamped it on different pieces with 2 different colors

The background paper was dry after I dried it with the Heattool, then I started stamping around with the Doodle Borders stamp

Did not think that that was enough so I took the Texture Gallore stampset en stamped on the background paper some more to fill in the blanks....

Did you know that Polkadoodles has just wonderfull Glue Pen? I played with it to glue my butterflies onto the card. It works really good I can tell ya that.....so if you do not have a Glue pen like this, you better purchase it cause it is just wonderfull......

So I had 4 butterflies from 2 different stampsets (Bella Fleur and Flower Collage Stampset) and colored with Distress Inks and placed some crackle on top of them, after I was finished I Glued them onto my card.......

From the Hello Friend stampset I stamped the sentiment Each New Day is Special and this one is no different, I cut it into pieces and glued it onto my card

All around the sentiments I played with a black fineliner to let the words "pop" out of the card. I think I did a pretty good job on that lol....

With that same fineliner I scribbled on the butterflies

So there you have it, I hope I have given you some inspiration on how to make a Vintagy card with lots of stamps, stencils, color
Can't wait to see your creations....

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon.

POLKADOODLES CRAFTS AND UNIQUE STAMPING WITH POLKADOODLES-TUTORIAL

Hey there crafters out there, it is my turn Terry to show you how I made a colorfull card with loads of flowers from the Pretty Perfect stampset.

Excuse me for not making more than 2 photographs but I was so enthousiastic to start my project that I forgot to take more pictures........

Are your ready for some inspiration?
Sure hope that I can give you some with this tutorial.....

What I did was, First of all I started out with a piece of cardstock. I have cut out a white card of 22 cm x 11 cm.

I have colored the background with 3 colors of distress ink. Let it dry very well using the Heattool and after that I started stamping on the card with the Pretty Perfect Stamp Set.

I have colored the background with 3 colors of distress ink. Let it dry very well using the Heattool and after that I started stamping in othe card with the Pretty Perfect Stamp Set. After stamping, I used the heattool again to dry the stamping ink well. When I finished that I dipped a waterpen in chlorine and started to "color" the flower stamps. The great thing about chlorine is that the colors that were under the stamp fade away and therefore become allmost white.

And than you get this result check out the "white" flowers....I just love them.... After I finished that I started to fill up my card with the border stamp from the Doodle Dragonfly set and stamped it all around my card. Also a few hearts were stamped on the card.
I was thinking to color the leaves and so I did. I colored them with Zigs and the tiny flowers too.
Than all the card needed were some sentiments. Did you ever try out the Sentimentals from Polkadoodles? Well if you never used them I suggest you try them out and better use them cause they are so much fun to play with. I used the "You are a very Special Kind of Special Friend" and cut them all into tiny words and divided them on the card.

So there ya go, my card is finished and I sure hope you will have asmuch fun as I did making this card. Can't wait to see yours....

The products that I have been working with are:

22-07 POLKADOODLES CRAFTS AND UNIQUE STAMPING TUTORIAL XXX

Hey there guys, it is my turn for a Tutorial on how to make a fun card.....using the Fabulous and Magical Flowergirl stampsets, Funky Alphabet stamps and the Textutre Galore with distres ink

I started out to colour my background of the card, I wanted to use soft tones. So I colored the backgrond with 3 colors.

After that, I played with the Gracefull Flowergirl 4 and stamped her on the background of my card. I used my Stamp Platform to stamp it. Perhaps you think what I was thinking lol....what now? well.....

I stamped her twice on masking paper and cut the both of them out.

And I stamped her once again on the background paper.....and some letters from the Funky Alphabet Stamp set on it too

Love the colors that I have chosen and from Magical Corner stampset I stamped some dragonflies and cut them out aswell.  After they were cut out I painted them in a light blue color and placed them onto my card. What I did next was I thought the letters looked so "flat" so I took out my Nuvo drops and devided it onto the different letters. This way they looked a bit dimensional.

When I was finsihed with that the card could use some sentiments but not Too much...so what I did was I stamped the sentiment from the Gracefull Flowergirl #3 and cut the sentence into a few words and devided the words onto the card.

Last but not least I placed some glitterdrops onto the dress of the Flowergirl and around the card I stamped some decorations to finish it.

The products that I have worked with are:

Funky Alphabet A5 stamp set - 39 clear Polymer stamps
