Art Journal-Rozen 2

Hallo allemaal, ik heb mezelf weer heerlijk kunnen uitleven in mijn Art Journal.....

Krijg er maar geen genoeg van he, het bewerken van art journal pagina's en natuurlijk deze prachtige ROZEN van #Mariola Budek ingekleurd en erin verwerkt. Zo leuk om te doen....en hoe heb ik dat nou gedaan dan vraag je je misschien af.....

I cannot get enough of working in my Art Journal Pages and these georgous Roses from Mariola Budek. I just love them. I have colored the Roses and I have placed them in my Art Journal......and how did I do it, you might wonder....

Allereerst heb ik de Rozen ingekleurd met waterverf  en heb ik de bloemen afgemaakt met wat glitterrandjes van NUVO en wat witte randjes met een pen. Daarna ben ik  begonnen met de achtergrond van de 1ste pagina en deze te bewerken met verf, acrylverf in dit geval, beetje gespeeld met Gesso ...aangezien ik het een beetje lichter wilde hebben....en allerlei stenciltjes en stempels gebruikt van Art By Marlene, geweldig leuke stempels die je zo mooi kunt verwerken in je art journal of op kaartjes natuurlijk.  Uiteraard heb ik ook nog wat Crackle verwerkt op de achtergrond. 

First of all, I colored the Roses with watercolor and I finished the flowers with some glittery edges from NUVO and some white edges with a pen. Then I started with the background of the 1st page and edit it with paint, acrylic paint in this case, played with Gesso a bit ... since I wanted it to be a bit lighter .... and used all kinds of stencils and stamps from Art By Marlene, great fun stamps that you can use so beautifully in your art journal or on cards, of course. Of course I also added some Crackle in the background.

En voor de 2de pagina heb ik hetzelfde gedaan als bij de 1ste. Alleen de Rozen heb ik ingekleurd met oranje tinten en iets geel. Ook weer wat glittertjes gebruikt hier en daar en de achtergrond is bewerkt met Distress Inkt en stencils van Elizabeth Craft Designs met crackle en de Tekst is van Art By Marlene ...hebben jullie de Stickersheets wel eens gebruikt? Die zijn ook zo gaaf en er staan zoveel mooie teksten in. 

And for the 2nd page I did the same as with the 1st. I only colored the Roses with orange tones and a little yellow. Also used some glitter here and there and the background is edited with Distress Ink and stencils from Elizabeth Craft Designs with crackle and the Text is from Art By Marlene ... have you ever used the Stickersheets? They are also so cool and there are so many beautiful texts.

PANPASTEL UK CHALLENGE #28, BIRDS AND BUTTERFLIES.....

Oke this week the theme of our challenge is birds and butterflies and you can make anything you like aslong as it has everything to do with the birdies and butterflies......and this is what I made...

I worked on a birdhouse.....This is the front obviously.....and I played around with Gesso, Crackle and the brown PanPastel...the birdie is covered with Distress Crackle and Distress Ink....

Here you can see a bit of the side......

Oke here is the back of the birdhouse and so you can see I played with a Dyan Reavely stencil....did you ever play with one of her stencils.....it is a lot of fun you know.....

Here is the Wendy Vecchi's butterfly covered with Distress Ink, Crackle and PanPastel...and I placed a spinner on top for decorations.....the side of the birdhouse (both sides) has a crackles heart on it....so as you can see on my project I had lots of fun with it.....so you wanna have fun too....then I strongly advice you to come over to the PanPastel UK Challenge Blog and check out my amazing teamies projects, they made it for your inspiration and I can tell you they are fabulous.....so come on over and do join into the fun guys....

FRILLY AND FUNKY CHALLENGE WENDY VECCHI STYLE.....

Oke so here we go with my take on the Challenge for this week.......our lovely Host for this fortnights challenge is Linda, our fabulous DT leader...she is such an artist...and she had this great idea to do a WENDY VECCHI Challenge....wohoooo I just love The Wendy and all of her products......check this out.....

I made this....

I started out with Wendy Vecchi's fabulous butterfly, it is from Wendy's Art Parts set Bugs and Butterflies....I worked on it with Distress Inks, The colours are just great covered in Utee....don't you think...

Oke so here we have those wonderfull Wings from Wendy.....do you see what I did with the background.....I worked on the background with the Stampset and played around with the Distress Inks....and offcourse Crackle to go on top.....

And how about this fabulous set of Art Parts.....I loved playing with it and placed the butterfly inside.....I placed two pieces of art parts on top of eachother to give it some dimension......and the background, so underneith the butterfly I played with the stampset again and Weathered Wood Distress Stains....

The top of my project has a piece of lace and I made a bow with it..

The bottom part of my project has a piece of lace and I colored it with Distress Stains.....it workes really good with a white piece of lace and Distress Stains.....your gonna love playing with them white pieces of lace I am sure of it......

Oke so here we go with my take on the Challenge for this week....the theme this week is....
Birds and nests.....

so here is what I made....

I thought I would play around with a wooden kind off Tag.....and it is definitly a wallhanger ....so I sprayed Dyan Reavealy's Inks they are just fabulous......and there are so many colours......this time I chose the red and greenish one....I sprayed lots of water on the wallhanger too so the colour from the background is a bit lighter.....I found a little birdie in my closet and I thougth it would be nice to place a sort of a nestie underneith him .....or her.....I played with the little birdie with inks and crackle accents....Linda has a lot of fabby embellies in her shop and I found this key......

Oke so I played with Dyan Reavealy's sprays so I thougth why not use her stencils too eh? On top of it I worked with Glossy Accents......

And what do you think about these fabulous buttons? I love them because they have those fabby flowers on top......underneith the wallhanger I placed a piece of ribbon......
