DT card for QKR Stampede ~ ATG with Snowman option

This week the challenge at QKR Stampede is once again Anything Goes. If you wish, you may do the Snowman option - there are so many cute snowmen out there!  (Right now, I am sure a few of you have seen enough snow to last you for a while!)  The challenge is open through Thursday at 4 p.m EST, and you may enter as many as 3 times.  Winners receive digis from QKR - more if you use one of their images.
This digi, from the QKR  collection, is called Snowman Couple.  I thought it would make a cute anniversary card - but I will decide later and add a sentiment then.  I used a bit of shiny red gel pen and enhanced it and the DP with red glitter.  The horizontal panel is actually a bit of gold mesh.  When I stopped at the 99 Cents Only store I found a few Christmas items on sale for a quarter - could not resist the rolls of mesh and some tissue paper!  The bg uses the Snowflake embossing folder by Cuttlebug.

Guest Designer

What a pleasure to be able to be the guest designer this week at Anonymous Stamps (at One and Only Design).  Actually, I was asked to do this a few weeks ago, but we were ready to take off on our month long cruise to western Europe and transAtlantic, so the appearance was deferred a few weeks.  On this site (http://anonymousstamps.blogspot.com/) you will find quite a selection of digis - for free!  What an opportunity to add to your collection!  Check them out.

Petey - ice fishing

This is an image that has been in my stash for a long time - sent to me by someone at Wish RAK (Splitcoaststampers).  I did a search of the gallery there - and found cards I made with this image - over 5 years ago!  I think it is made by Inky Antics.  On the other hand, the sentiment is from a set of American glitter CSCraft library stamps I got not long ago.  I used Ranger Enamel Accents on the pompom and ice - I also dotted them around to try to make snowflakes around Petey - with a bit of glitter to give them sparkle IRL.  The snowflake and tiny punches are from glitter CS.  The Paper Pizazz pattern paper is imbossed with the Cuttlebug Snowflake EF.  For the "unexpected" challenge (AI) - I rediscovered the Ranger Enamel Accents buried in my ink pad/reinker drawer.  I HAD to have it but it has hardly been touched.
