Been home sick for the last four days. Not very common for me, but I guess it has to happen every now and then as I'm in contact with so many people every day through work. I've mostly stayed in the sofa - listening to the radio and drinking blackcurrant toddy. I've also colored in some stamp motifs, and tonight I even made a card! The stamp is Gone Fishing Luka by La-La Land. :-) (the sun and the balloons are just drawn by hand) The thread is waxed linnen thread. It's really easy to shape in the right positions, and secure with a small drop of glue.

Christmas coming up...
October already! I should have started two months ago... These last few months until Christmas will be flying by. They always do. I made this year's first Christmas card today. It's hard to find my mojo, probably because I so rarely make cards these days. But I just got a large order of stuff in the mail, and I really hope I get to use it all in the weeks to come.
On this card I've used some of my all time favorite papers by Cosmo Cricket (they are old, but gorgeous!). The stamp is by Wild Rose Studio, and it's adorable! It's inked with brown ink, and colored with Promarkers and colored pencils.

The Secret Garden
Two updates in one day! Well, aren't I the wild one? Another card with a stamp by Sarah Kay and Stampavie. Papers by Graphic45. Coloring with Copics, Promarkers and Inktense pencils.
This made me think about "The Secret Garden" by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I loved that book as a kid. :-)

Hooray, Hurrah, Hurra...
Well, hooray! Or hurra in my language. Love this cute mouse by... oh, lawd... It's been so long, and my brain just stopped working. Messing up my space looking for the package. I'll be back with the name when my head is back on my shoulders. Sorry. Very simple cards... Always trying to use some of my scraps.
(ETA: Whiff of joy! Ahhh... How could I forget?)
A happy weekend to you all! :-)

Accordion card.
Accordion Card... They are not too difficult, but it requires very accurate folding, cutting and gluing for a good result. The accordion should fold down completely flat when pressed together.
Tim Holtz alterations tag
Butterflies and trees are made with dies by Memory Box.
Stamp by Whiff of Joy.
Coloring done with Promarkers and Derwent Coloursoft pencils.
The sentiment is stamped on a tag, and can easily be pulled out from the top of the card. Flip the tag, and there's a hidden pocket for money.
Card closes with magnets.

Watch out!
Today I made a card using some of my own stamps from back when I made PapilioStamps. I've rarely been using them, as I guess I just feel done with the motifs after drawing them. But it's been so long, so it did feel better now. Quite simple card without any patterned paper or other stuff. Just stamps, markers and pencils.

Happy New Year!
Hi all!
Wow, not much creativity going on in this blog lately! Weird, I actually made quite a few cards this christmas, but they were all made for a fair, and I guess I just didn't take the time to snap photos and posting them online. But they were all pretty clean and simple... no wow-factor really.
I made these two cards today. Some of my oldest digital stamps for PapilioStamps - and I still love these images. Actually, these were the first stamps I drew, because I made these before I produced any rubberstamps, and I never had the guts to send them to production. I just didn't know if anyone would like them. After years, I released them as digis instead...
Coloring was done using a mix of Copics, Promarkers and Derwent pencils. I resized the images to fit the small (8,5 x 13,5 cm) cards.

Cute Steampunk?
I had tons of fun making this card today. The stamps are digital, Countess Palatine Dahlia and Steampunk Porthole. Both are colored with Promarkers. The paper is by Sandy Lion (I believe), and the sentiment is... hmm... Crafty Individuals(?). Blue flowers and leaves are colored with glimmer mist, and there's also some old clock parts, brads and bling :)
These stamps are both really detailed, and it takes some time to do the coloring. But I love detailed stamps, and I find them really fun to work with. :)

Creations this week :)
Yey! A new card again! I just finished this one with the cute Teen Millie (digital stamp by me and PapilioStamps :)) Always fun to create in girly pink, and there are always birthdays coming up when these come in handy.
I also made a bunch of placement cards for the christening of the neighbours' dauther. They asked me for 40 cards, but I didn't have a lot of time, so I made some really clean and simple ones. I think they look cute though.
Thanks for stopping by! :))

Birthday card (Flowers for Mommy)
Wasn't really happy with this card, but happy about being able to make something. I heart all the papers by October Afternoon - they are so pretty, pretty, pretty. These are from the Ducks in a Row-line. The stamp is Flowers for Mommy, colored with promarkers and pencils. :)

Sandy and Candy. And what to do with all those buttons...?
I've had these really old papers by Christina Cole for ProvoCraft laying around. I've always loved this line of papers, both for the pattern and the colors. It's my kind of colors i guess. But I can't save 'em for like forever, can I? I need to use some stuff (and make room for new stuff). But it's crazy just how little stuff you can put on one card. Three buttons? Hey, I need to make a couple of hundred cards (with three buttons on each) just to empty that one box! Guess I should hurry up and create... Stamps are Sandy and Candy (digistamps) :))

Papilio Teens, Mandy.
I finally got around to clean up my scrapspace. Not that it's perfectly clean now, but at least I got enough space to sit down and make a few cards. I sorted all my stash, and put it in see-through boxes - making it easier to spot what I need when I need it.
These cards features my own digistamp Papilio Teens, Mandy. The papers are mostly scraps I found in my mess, so I have no clue what they are. I spot some old Basic Grey and some Kaisers, but the rest... I'm clueless.

Fairy Kitty
Ever had metal roofing on your house? This old house got a metal roof some years ago, and it's cold in the winter, and too hot in the summer, and it gets really green of moss and dirt. But the one good thing about it is that when it rains, it's very, very cozy upstairs in my room. I guess I'm more creative when the rain is pouring down on my metal roof, so loudly that I can hardly hear myself think.
And that's why I spent today making cards too. And even though I might own somewhere about a million fairly new papers, it gives me some satisfaction to use my very old stuff. So I found this 6x6 paperpad from K&Company (I've had it laying around since the beginning of time I think), and I managed to use some of them for the very first time.
Oh, and the stamp is Fairy Kitty (by PapilioStamps. Surprised?) It's my first card with this stamp. I think Kitty loves her kitten as much as we love our little cat. Our cat is a year old these days, and her name is Silke (Silk). She's the cutest, kindest, best cat ever :)

Sail away...
Yeah... wish I was gettin' ready to sail away. Sail away to a place where the sun always shines. But then... how on earth would I manage to fit all my craft supplies in a tiny sailboat?
But this little fellow (or is it a girl? Your choice...) is Ready to Sail.
Not too happy about how this card turned out, but as long as we're creating and having fun, who cares?

Maya doesn't mind some rain.
Heavy rain today, and no weather for Boop to go swimming. But Maya doesn't care about some rain. -So what? she says. -You'll get wet anyway.
But she didn't expect this, did she? Moahaha, I'd rather spend the day in the craftroom, than having to deal with an octopus on my head.
Hope you all are enjoying summer, and I do hope you all have better weather than we have :)

Fairy Penny loves Peonies. So do I.
Peonies are my favorite flowers, and that's exactly how Fairy Penny feels too. She lives in a lovely Peony garden, where the flowers could be of any color you'd like. Papers by Basic Grey, and coloring done using Promarkers and Inktense pencils. :)
Luckily for me, my mother has the most beautiful peonies in her garden every summer. Even when I used to live on the other side of the country, she brought me some when she visited. I even remember some years ago, she wrapped them in wet paper, and mailed them to me.
Also: If you own a stamp by PapilioStamps, you can enter this challenge: "You could be the Winner!" Be sure to enter before 7 July. :-)

Fairy Auburn
Hi, again! It should have been a card filled with sunshine and colors today, as we're still in June. But every time I looked out the window during the day, it felt like autumn was already here. Grey skies and rain all day. But I really don't mind that much. I love autumn - it's my favorite time of the year. And the best thing about rainy days is that you can do the things you like to do indoors, without having to feel bad for not enjoying the outdoors.
So I made this card, pretending September was knocking on the door, bringing a thermos of coffee and asking me to join her for a walk in the woods to collect mushrooms. Stamp is "Fairy Auburn", colored with Promarkers and Inktense pencils.
I will enter this one too into the challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar, as it fits this week's theme :) Check them out!

Fairy Bliss
Feels wonderful to be creating again, even if it's just a simple card or two. Who cares if the stash fills up the whole livingroom, dining table, coach and half of the ground floor. The cat is having a ball trying to get my ribbons out of the Pull-EZ, and trying to have little naps on top of my papers.
Well, this is what I made this afternoon. A card with the stamp "Fairy Bliss", and papers by Basic Grey. I'm not sure about the brand of the sentiment... sorry about that. I made this for the challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar, please check out their wonderful challenges, sponsors and designers. This weeks challenge was to make a "Good Luck"/"Best Wishes"-card. My card is colored with Promarkers and Inktense pencils - as usual.
