I was honoured to be this week's guest designer on the well-known and wonderful ISMAKI-challenge blog. Here's my card - and the sketch to go with it, you will find at the ISMAKI-site. Please visit them, and it would be fun if you would participate in this weeks challenge too :-)

Experimenting
I've had the day off from work, and I've been playing with my stamps all day! :-) I've experimented more with pop-ups. Really fun! I haven't made the cover for the card yet, that'll have to be some other day. Tfl!

More pop-up Summer & Sea!
Detail:
Front:
I was asked to explain how I made the pop-ups. I don't know how to explain, I just do it... I figured a picture was worth more than words. The important thing with this kind of pop-ups, is that all the folds are 90 degrees. And also be sure that the elements won't obstruct each other when the card is being closed. Good luck on your pop-up!

Tilda in the City
Tilda has been seen in the city lately. Enjoying the urban life with a caffe latte at a fancy coffee shop, and visiting the local museums for the inspiration. She even sat down in the park to watch the funny little ducks in the ponds. Welcome to the big city, Tilda.

Stamps used: "Edwins stad", "Lapp Tilda" and "Bench". Paper by Basic Grey "Recess", and EAN-code stamps by Autumn Leaves.
I know have told you before, but I still get questions on how I colorize my cards, so I'll repeat it here. I mostly use Tim Holtz's Distress Ink by Ranger. Put a small amount of ink on a piece of plastic, glass or your acrylic block, and use a water brush to paint. You use it the same way you would with any watercolors. The colors can be mixed together, and you can lighten them using more water. It is important that you use watercolor paper. I use fine grained, cold pressed paper with a 200 g weight (90 lbs), but you can use the paper of your liking, as long as it is ment for watercolors.
The white highlights are gel-rollers. I use any gel-roller I have laying around for this. Draw a small line of highlight, and then quickly smudge it a little with your finger, before it dries. repeat this untill you have the shade you want. You may also highlight without smudging. this will make the highlighting more sharp, and is suitable for shiny objects like i.e. balloons, cars etc.
Also, thank you all for your wonderful comments. I really appreciate them all!! I know I have been tagged by some of you, I just haven't gotten around to do something about it. I should really try to set some time a side for that...

Framed Magnolias, and a few other cards...
I've also made two other cards, but without Magnolia-stamps this time (allthough one of them is featuring a Magnolia-flower... *lol*). Sometimes it's fun to do something completely different, and the shabby/vintage style is one that I really like.
TFL!

Long time, no stamping
And yes, I say "more".. I've already made a bunch of valentine-cards, as I was chosen to be the featured "Artist of the Month" in the February issue of "Ett Trykk".
You can see more previews on their blog. See? I'm a "cover girl" too! One of my Magnolia-cards made the front cover as main picture! I'm really proud!

Santa Edwin
Still not much time for cardmaking, but I couldn't resist making this one with Edwin - the cutest santa ever, don't you think? All stamps by Magnolia. Letters cut with Cricut. Coloring done using Pantone's Tria-pens (Promarkers) and Derwent Pencils. Embossed snowflakes, and white gel-roller.

Twinkle, twinkle little Star
A real twinkling Tilda, in Sonja Henie's footsteps. She has everything needed to be a star! Painted with Twinkling H2O by LuminArte, and plenty of Stickles (glitter-glue) by Ranger. Mounted on patterned paper with glitter details. All stamps from Magnolia, off course!

It's been too long...
...since I last updated this blog! Time really flies!
I've got a bunch of wonderful, new stamps from Magnolia. They are all so gorgeous, I didn't even know how to decide wich ones to try out first.
Here's a card I made yesterday. I've started working on more, and I need to do the final touches on them tonight, before I can scan them.

Also, EllenK gave me this award. How nice is that?! :-)
I'm supposed to give it on to ten people that inspire me and make me smile. That's a difficult one, because there are sooo many of you!!
All of you that reads and comments on my blog, inspire me to make and upload new cards, and every time I get uplifting comments it makes me smile. That's why I will give this on to all of you who has given me such comments.
Thanks for stopping by!

All About Christmas
Thanks again folks, for all your wonderful comments! I feel so bad for never taking the time to really browse all the inspiring blogs out there, and being so sloppy with leaving feedback myself. I hereby promise to take some time for this the upcoming weekend. Life's just been too crazy lately.
As you can see, I'm all christmas lately. Working in a scrapping-/stamping-/craftstore, christmas season are really starting these days. I've been thinking only christmas since September 1. I just hope my christmas spirit will stay strong till Desember 25. at least.
I think I'll manage, especially with cute christmas Tildas and Edwins helping me along.

Did she paint her house?
Yesterday it was red, today it's blue. And it is just as pretty that way! Tilda is taking a walk in the blue hour.
Oh, and did you notice? I've added a slideshow to my blog. Isn't it cool? I will do something about the design on this blog, I promise. I know it looks kind of boring as it is.
