Flowering Desert with a Video Tutorial to "Extend Your Stitched Rectangle Dies."

Hello there,
I do hope you've had a wonderful bank holiday weekend? And what wonderful weather we had in the UK! I'm loving being able to sit outside ;-)
Anyway, I actually have my last promised video (I mentioned it HERE) to share with you how to extend the length of your stitched rectangle dies today! I know, I've been really rubbish about videos lately but this was so quick to make and took very little editing (read: I didn't mess it up as I made it!) so here we are.
I'll start with the card first. I used the Flowering Desert stamp set to make this card as I needed to repeat my steps for the video. I really love this stamp set and I'm sorry it's hit the retiring list :-(
 Although I'm really grateful these dies are staying because I've used them a ton already!
 So, let's have a look at this video, shall we?
I've kept the rest of the card fairly simple and for some reason the writing hasn't shown up too well in this picture, it's the stamp in the corner you can just see- "be your own kind of beautiful"
And here's an image to "PIN" so you can find it again easily!
So, that's it for today.
I will be back with another make tomorrow but 'till then, happy stamping :-)

Making the Daisy Delight DSP the star of the card! And a Video Tutorial!

Hello there,
Today's card is one I made with the most beautiful paper I have seen in a while! It's from the Daisy Delight pack and when I saw it I really just wanted to make it the star of the card.  And so that's exactly what I tried and I ended up making these cards...
 I just can't seem to stop using the super lovely navy gingham ribbon (see another, different card HERE), it goes with everything and ties such lovely bows...
 Still love the stitched edge dies :-)
So, I thought I would make a super quick tips video for you sharing how to make this card including how to tie a ribbon bow so it sits straight, like on this card.
So, here's the video. Please note I inadvertently used a smaller stitched die for the card in the video, to fit the larger sentiment use the second smallest stitched die and a slightly larger circle :-) Oopsie!
 and finally both the original cards together again to finish today!
Well, that's all from me for today. Back tomorrow with another card for you, I'd love to see you here!

Coffee Cup Mini Gift Bag with Video Tutorial

Hello there,
I knew these coffee cups dies would make awesome little gift bags as soon as I saw them in the new catalogue! You may have seen my first make on Instagram the other day :-) What I didn't share there was the larger one too, but I did promise a video tutorial to go with it and today I have that, for both sizes :-)
This small version was my first design and how cool, it worked perfectly, first time!
This smallest bag easily fits a couple of individual chocolates or sweets in.
How adorable would these be for the Christmas dinner table?? Just change the colours and papers to suit!! I'm definitely going to do that! Anyway, all of the cups today use the Delightful Daisy DSP, in case you were wondering ;-)
And so I went on to make a bigger sized one with the larger dies in the pack...
 I decided to make these a bit deeper too, so they fit a fun sized chocolate bar in easily. I think they would be great for birthday favours too... Oh, so many uses!!
OK, so here's the video for you :-)
**Please note: The measurements are not transferable between the cups. The bases of the cups are slightly different so please watch the part of the video for the cup size you want to make :-)**
And for those who prefer written measurements ;-)
Small Cup: 12.3cm x 3cm or 1.5" x 4+13/16"
 Long Side: score at 4.5cm and 7.8cm or 1+3/4" and 3+1/16"
Short Side: score at 0.5cm or 1/4" on both sides.
Handle: 1.5cm x 11cm or 5/8" x 4+3/8"
~~~
Large Cup: 15.1cm x 4cm or 5+7/8" x 1+3/4"
Long Side: score at 6cm and 9.1cm or 2+3/8" and 3+9/16"
Short Side: score at 0.5cm or 1/4" on both sides
Well, that's all from me for today. I do hope you have a go at making these. I loved them and hope you do too?
Thanks for looking today!
 So, here is the tutorial for you :-)
And one final photo for today!
So, I do hope this inspires you to use your washi tape and maybe even cut into that DSP too!
Don't forget to share your makes with me if you do have a go ;-)
