Milk Carton in Cameo Coral

Good Morning,
Super quick post from me today. My sister needed a box to put some choccies in for her friends birthday, well actually she needed two but I will share the other one with you later in the week, but anyway, I made this one in Cameo Coral and teamed it with Old Olive for a change, I love how these colours work together :-)

Sentiment is retired but the candle is from On a Pedestal. Tab punch used to close with a paper clip from the Clip Assortment which I tied with striped grosgrain ribbon in Old Olive and Linen Thread,

Pattern around the outside is made using True Friend stamp set in Coral Ink and a little close up of the sentiment panel,
So, that's it for today,
Thanks ever so for stopping by,
Hugs,

Catching Up

Hello,
I have been busy making some cards with the lovely Scrappin' Kit we had on Saturday, now I had loads of time to do them on Saturday but I was far too busy chatting! lol!
So the first 2 photos on here are what I did get done, this card...

and this yummy treat pouch and box I mentioned before,
these next cards are some of the ones I made during this week ;0)

Loving these little punch flowers,

Some less girly ones, I like the contrast of plain circles on textured card for this one. I also paper pieced the present stacks instead of colouring them,

I think this is my favourite for today, some more circle punch flowers and the others on here are Die Cuts from the scrappin' kit, background stamp is from Good Friend which matches the kit,
Well I will save the rest for tomorrow, I hope the colours have kept you awake, nice and bright,
Bye for now, Hugs,

Hello,
Wow! What a weekend I have had! I have spent a lovely weekend up with Julie, and what a lovely weekend it was too :0)
Julie had an all day paper craft class on Saturday, we made a box, a pouch (a bit like the ones I made for convention swaps) and then in the afternoon we covered a tin which was supposed to contain 8 cards, now I made the boxes but well, there were 5 other people who came to the day who are demos or were demos so we just chatted most of the day! I made just 1 card **oops!**
I will share the projects with you later on as I haven't photographed them yet :0)
So here are Siobhan and Niki,

And then Sarah B, Nicci and Jeannette,

And here we all are at the local Indian Restaurant where we went for tea, yummy!
I had the best weekend, Thank-You all ladies, it was a joy to see you all again xxxxx

So onto a card I made a couple of weeks ago, it uses the SAB set Whimsical Words, this set is only available now until the end of Feb so you haven't got long to get your mitts on it!!

Here is a close up of the little train, Choo Choo, I inked it with my markers to get the multi coloured look, the wheel is called Right on Track,
and look, the small wonder words fit perfectly in the oval punch, SU! think of everything!!

Well, that's all for today, I hope you are still with me?? and don't forget you can still enter my little give away for a lavender sachet, see THIS post for more details :0)
Have a great day and I hope you are enjoying the school holidays,
Bye for now, Hugs S.J. xxx

More Candles....

Hello,
Well, first of all I realised today I have been blogging (reaching the amazing total of 21,000+ hits, thank-you x) and also a SU! demo for a year around...NOW!!! so to celebrate, all this week I shall be having a series of giveaways, be sure to pop back every day to be in with a chance to win :0)
************************************************
Before that though, today's card -- made using 2 sets of FREE stamps, and we all love free don't we?? see this post for more details on how you can get your hands on these and other great sets,
This sweet cake is from the Happy Moments set of 7 stamps and I water coloured it using Ink pads and a water brush,
Sentiment is from Whimsical Words and was inked using my newly acquired SU! markers, fantastic!
Oval Punches make a welcome return after having a little break and as you can see the mat pack is still out too ;0)
Finally sort of arty shot to see the bits that are raised and the Z fold of this card,

******We will be making a very similar card to this at my Sale-a-bration Celebration class this Saturday, I still have 2 places left so if you are interested in coming round for a play and live near Southampton/New Forest, details are in my side bar or email me on sarah-janerae@sky.com *******
Well, that's it for today be sure to come by next week for my wonderful celebration of SU! and blogging,
Have a good evening, Sarah-Jane xxx

Trendy Trees

Well Good Morning to you all,
It feels like an age since I last blogged, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas?? Ours down south was not white unfortunately :0( but it was lovely, lots of food and family, just like yours, I suspect!
Do you know what?? I have not done a single bit of crafting over the holidays!! I am definitely hoping to get some in today and I have got tonight off work too! yay!
This card today is the last one I made before Christmas, it was made to hold some theatre tickets for MIL and FIL's Christmas gift. I didn't want a Christmas design though as the show (Chicago) is not until February.

The card base is Real Rust, paper is the Merry Moments Christmas one, but I think it is quite neutral? not too christmassey, and the cute little x's and o's are from Sealed with a Kiss-a set I have had for a while but only just used, ooops! yummy old olive striped grosgrain ribbon to finish this quite simple card using the lovely Trendy Trees stamps,
That's it for me for today but I will be back tomorrow (hopefully) if I get a chance to sneak some crafting in ;0)
Have a lovely day,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xxx
