Simply Stampin' Colour Challenge 23

Good Morning!
How's things your way today? I am much later in posting todays challenge card as I finished it a bit late yesterday and could I get a decent picture? Ermm, nope! What a pain!
So the challenge this week is a lovely colour combo, Melon Mambo, Perfect Plum, Bashful Blue and Whisper White, and here is my challenge card
I have used the lovely, but soon to be leaving us, "On a Pedestal" stamp set, there is a fab 25% off now too, just £12.71! I am sad to see this one go tbh, actually there are quite a few I am really going to miss so I will be showcasing them on here all this month!
SU! Last Chance List is HERE if you have missed it
Taffeta ribbon bow in Bashful Blue with Rhinestones
I also stamped the candle from this set on the inside panel,
a side view of the easel, I love this style of card and haven't made one for ages, I might even make a few more this week ;-)
Well, I shall be back tomorrow with this months class cards.
I am full this month for all 3 days, but if you would like to join us next month (1,3,4,5 October) for the "NEW Products" class or later this month for my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack (20th and 21st Septemebr-19th is full now) then please email me now to reserve your place, I would love to see you here for crafting (with cake!) Catherines Special Day

Hello there today,
I hope your day is going well, I have done the dreaded supermarket shop this morning and have almost finished my new tutorial for the Charity Card Class too! Once I have finished this post I have a very long list to work my way through still, so no rest for the wicked eh?! lol!
Today is my SU! sisters birthday and so this is what I made for Catherine's special day :-)
I decide to use a couple of challenges to make this card, one to inspire, Paper and Such Design which gave us this pic to work from which I saw as Peach Parfait and Sahara Sand,
and a sketch challenge on  The Sweet Shop blog, this is their sketch, O.K. my interpretation of this sketch would be termed as "loose" ;-)
I used the lovely On a Pedestal stamp set, one I haven't used for a while ;-) with the top of the cake drenched in Dazzling Diamonds,
Some Stitching going on again with a little Perfect Punches for the sentiment
and some more sewing inside
Well, I hope Catherine has a lovely birthday and I will be back tomorrow, hopefully a little earlier, with some more cardy goodness,
Thanks for stopping by today, I love it when you come and visit :-D

Eva's Birthday

Good Morning to you today,
As promised I have the birthday card I made for Zack's friend Eva who's party we went to on Sunday, she was just 6 so I went with the traditional girly style and the pretty colours of Daffodil Delight, Pretty in Pink and  Marina Mist, a colour combo from the Colour Coach,
Stamp set used was On a Pedestal I haven't used this set in ages and had almost forgotten how lovely it was! I used my markers to ink the stamps up,
I used some of the super soft Daffodil Delight satin ribbon to make a lush bow and hung some tiny tags punched with Jewellery punch, another set I haven't used for a while,
and added rhinestones to the corners
lastly inside with the lovely sentiment from the new mini, the level 2 hostess set called Something to Celebrate, if you need this gorgeous set then message me to arrange a date for a workshop ;-)
Well, thanks for stopping by today, I have another busy one ahead more getting ready for Sundays craft show plus a list of cards I need made today!
Hope you have a great day,

Sketch Saturday right on the nose ;-)

Hello,
Thank goodness it's Friday! now, I have heard a lot of this today, it seems everyone is needing this weekend off, so what you all got planned then? we had last weekend off(ish) so this weekend much to hubby delight we have a *very* long list of jobs to be getting on with, but first of all a card, I have actually been a little inspired after doing a bit of challenge blog hopping, I went to the Sketch Saturday blog and I LOVED their sketch this week, all be it that I am a little late to get into it, but hey ho, here is what I came up with...
Colour combo is taken from the Colour Coach, it is Poppy Parade, So Saffron and Baja Breeze, very summery don't you think? the stamp set is On a Pedestal,
I used the gorgeous Play Date papers and made yummy ribbon roses with In Colour Poppy Parade poly ribbon [only £5 for 1.5mtrs of each colour in this share] and finished it with a Basic Rhinestone,
a smaller rose with the buttons from the subtles collection,
here is the arty angle showing lots more Rhinestones and the little bit of detailing inside,

So, that's all for today, I hope you have a fun and more exciting weekend than we will be having ;-) lol!

More bits for Aunty Amber

Hello,
Today I have a few matching bits I made to go with Aunty Ambers card from Monday,
I made a mini pizza box to hold a bracelet, using On a Pedestal again, a Stamp-a-ma-jig is an essential for this set :-) Colours are Pink Passion and Tempting Turquoise as before,
a candle wrapped in large cello bag and tied with silver cord and a matching coloured tag,
and together,
and finally I got a large glass jar from IKEA and filled it with mini bags of sweets from M&S and a few lollies, just a little selection to pick through ;-)

For the top of the jar I used an old sab set called yummy, perfect for this sort of thing don't you think?
and here I used Tiny Tags with the Jewellery Tag Punch on the clasp, 20% off this stamp set this month, yay!

Well that's it for today, I will be going to see MIL again today as she is in hospital at the moment,
We are all hoping for some news soon from the doctors, please think of us.
Bye for now, Hugs,

Aunty Amber's Birthday

Hello,
I am sharing my sister Amber's card with you today, I know the title says Aunty Amber but that is what we all call her my friends and myself included! he he!
So I made her this card after seeing the idea on Blue Jellys blog, I loved that she turned the cake from On a Pedestal upside down to make this cute glass! thanks for the inspiration Victoria x
Colours used were Pink Passion and Tempting Turquoise and the paper is from Pink Flamingo,

The cherry was stamped using versamark to make the side panel and I added some yummy Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the 'fizz' and the top of the 'glass'
Inside picture with the sentiment also from On a Pedestal which fits perfectly in the 1+3/8 circle punch,

Arty Angle to finish today, 'Happy Birthday' is teamed with gorgeous sparkly gem brads,

Thanks for looking today,

Milk Carton in Cameo Coral

Good Morning,
Super quick post from me today. My sister needed a box to put some choccies in for her friends birthday, well actually she needed two but I will share the other one with you later in the week, but anyway, I made this one in Cameo Coral and teamed it with Old Olive for a change, I love how these colours work together :-)

Sentiment is retired but the candle is from On a Pedestal. Tab punch used to close with a paper clip from the Clip Assortment which I tied with striped grosgrain ribbon in Old Olive and Linen Thread,

Pattern around the outside is made using True Friend stamp set in Coral Ink and a little close up of the sentiment panel,
So, that's it for today,
Thanks ever so for stopping by,

Birthday cake anyone?

Good Morning,
I have scheduled this post as this morning I have a lovely class of ladies starting at 10am. If you would like to come to next month please email me for directions or information,
But, right now, onto today's card. This was made for one of my SU! side lines birthdays, otherwise known as SU! sisters ;-)
Colours used were Choc Chip, Regal Rose and a touch of Pumpkin Pie in the DSP. I still adore this retired paper pack, Sweet Always. I almost don't want to use it up. Well, I did say almost!
The lovely cake is from the level 2 set from the current mini catalogue called All for Friends, if you would like to know how you can earn it for FREE then again, please contact me for details,
sarah-janerae@sky.com
I coloured the cake using my ink pads and blender pens but I also think it would be fab paper pieced,

I stamped the cherry from On a Pedestal using Versamark all over the "window"
Circle punched out using the 1+3/4" punch, and I also used the scallop edge punch along the bottom, jazzed up with a white gel pen.
Super soft Choc Chip satin ribbon tied around this layer finishes the outside, well, I mean... what's a card without ribbon eh??

And finally a little finishing inside. Sentiments inside and on the front are both from SAB sets and are no longer available unfortunately. They were inked using Marker Pens, great for two colours (or more) on 1 stamp, the same with the candle which is also from On a Pedestal.

Don't forget my special offer on until the end of July, please see top post for details.
Well, that's all for today, I have another graduation card to share with you tomorrow but for now, thanks for visiting and have a lovely rest of your day,

On a Pedastal for Mandi

Well there has only been the odd shower so far round here, so hopefully it will be the same for Zoe at the zoo too!
I have finally got round to taking a photo (or two) of Mandi's card which I promised to share with you last week. Luckily she had a) kept it and b) doesn't live very far away! I am not sure how I manged not to photograph it, I usually do it as soon as I have finished???
Anyways, here we go, I have again used my fave colour combo of the moment; Cameo Coral, Kraft and Basic Black

Super soft white satin ribbon was wrapped with a gem brad to form the bow,

I used my markers to ink up the stamps and then added a few white gel pen highlights,

Sentiment is from the same set, Papers are the fab Night and Day from the mini- simply gorgeous,

And I did decorate the inside of this one, here is a close up of the bottom section as I obviously had already written inside ;-)

Well, that's today's card, I will be back tomorrow with some more craftiness for you, I am off now to finish the cards for next months class, how organised am I??
Thanks for stopping by, Stampin' Hugs
