Rainbow of Hearts using Little Elephant

Hello!
Todays make is another fun rainbow card. I used the super cute heart shaped hearts from the Little Elephant stamp set, see...
 Colours used were:
Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Lemon-Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point and Highland Heather.
I just grabbed a selection of ink pads that looked like they would coordinate well together, choosing more pastel colours rather than the primary that I used HERE.
Layered onto a Lemon-Lime Twist layer and finish with sequins (of course) and  a sentiment!
So, I hope you liked todays make? I'll be back tomorrow with another, hope to see you then!

Little Elephant Umbrella Rainbow Card

Hello there,
I hope you enjoyed your bank holiday weekend? No post from me yesterday as we took the kids to the Aquapark for the day which was really lovely, right up until about an hour before it closed and it rained! From just a few clouds to chucking down rain in about 5 minutes, then 5 minutes later it was gone! A true summer shower :-)
Anyway, I didn't plan it like this but here's an umbrella rainbow card for you today! I could have done with one of these yesterday, lol ;-)
This cute little brolly is from the "Little Elephant" stamp set (matching punch also available) and I stamped them in a selection of bright colours:
Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Blueberry Bushel and Gorgeous Grape.
Have you tried the new ink pads yet?
Finished with a sentiment from the same set at the bottom and a few enamel dots (mostly retired now, I think)
So, that's todays card! We are on our last full day here in Spain so are just hanging around and spending time with my Dad and Shirley :-)
Hope you have a great Tuesday, whatever you are up to!

Little Elephant CAS Card

Hello there!
Today's card uses the adorable Elephant Builder Punch, I did use the stamp set too but only for the sentiment. I teamed it with some of the Petal Promenade DSP to make a little train of ellies, lets see....

Now, you'll see in this image how they punch out usually. Obviously this wouldn't work for this card as I wanted the baby Ellie to hold the bigger ones tail so...
TIP: Punch one large elephant in the regular way and flip the DSP over and punch the little one in reverse. I then use a bone folder and run it around the edges to smooth them out so the rough edges aren't showing.
I also inked the edges of the elephants lightly using a sponge and my smoky slate ink pad before adding them above some cute star paper from Twinkle, Twinkle DSP.
TIP 2: This is a great way to use those small offcuts of DSP.
Finished with a tiny Fresh Fig card heart (from the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch) and a matching mini ribbon bow.
Thanks so much for looking today. I have a busy day today but I'm hoping to get my craft on this evening :-) I hope you get a chance to craft too!

Little Elephant Stamps and Builder Punch

Hello!
Today's card is one I made for our sons girlfriend for her birthday recently. She likes 'cute' so I had a play with the Little Elephant stamps and punch and I used three of the lovely, vibrant new In Colours - Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green and Blueberry Bushel...
I must say, I really love how well these colours worked together!
I am enjoying making these little frames again {which I first did HERE} and had forgotten about it 'till recently! Do you do that too?
So, she liked the card and I really enjoyed playing with this stamp set! How cute is that little Ellie?!
So, that's all for today, I'll be back soon with another make :-)
