25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020...Day 8...Avery Elle

Welcome to the 10th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags!

If you are new to the event you can click HERE to see the posts from the last 9 years. There are also links to the Pinterest boards for each of  the past years at the bottom of this post.  There is so much incredible inspiration there.  I am so excited to share that there are 26 sponsors this year, and each of the sponsors and their designers will be joining us as a guest for a day!

Welcome to Day 8!

If you are just arriving for the first time all the details and the linkup can be found HERE!

I am thrilled to announce that today we have Avery Elle as our sponsor.

I always have a sweet spot for little mice stamps, and these holiday mice from Avery Elle's A Merry Little Christmas are so very adorable.

My next tag uses the cute little penguin family from Avery Elle's Penguin Greetings.  I colored and then fussy cut the penguins, and added a blended starry night to my tag.

Please head over to the main post on Tracey's blog for more information on how you can join in on the
fun and have a chance to win one of our prizes.

Seize the Birthday...Guest Designer...Birthday Bus

Hello there.  I am back with another card for the latest Seize the Birthday challenge.  In case you were wondering, I will be the Surprise Guest Designer through the end of February.

This week, our challenge is Creatures Great and Small.  Lately, I have been on a huge creatures kick.  I have been almost exclusively buying stamps with cute critters.  No idea why, but I think it's because I find them so endearing, fall in love, and must bring them home.

I used a really fun Avery Elle Birthday Bus stamp that had several creatures going to a birthday party.  I like how the big bear gets to drive the bus, whilst the little critters get to ride in the back.

I hope you will pull out some creatures and play along with us at Seize the Birthday this week.  Remember, 'Creatures Big and Small' is an optional topping, and you are always welcome to play along with any birthday card you make.

I look forward to seeing what you create.

Thanks for Visiting

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019...Day 6

Welcome to Day 6 of The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019.  If you are arriving for the first time, all the details and the link up can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 6 is Avery Elle.
They sent me the most adorable snowmen stamps called Snow Fun, which I used to make this trio of fun tags.

All three of my tags are pretty straight forward stamping, fussy cutting and Copic coloring.

Please head over to Tracey's blog for more information on how you can join in on the fun and get a chance to win a prize.

My Crafty Week

I had such a fun and crafty week, and the highlight was a 3 day visit by Kim, where we were joined for a day of crafting by Jacquie and Marybeth.  We talked, laughed and stamped and die cut the entire time.  I even made a few cards, in addition to stamping and cutting things for later.

I was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #399, and stamped portions of the cats and dogs from MFT Picture Perfect.  I am also entering this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #352: Make Your Mark, and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:  Anything Goes.

I used my new Simon Says Stamp Panda kit for this next card, which I colored with Copic markers.  I am entering this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #352: Make Your Mark, and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:  Anything Goes, Simon Says Monday Challenge:  Bright and Cheerful and Seize the Birthday, without the topping.

Again, using stamps I borrowed from Kim, I made this punny card using Catherine Pooler I Pick You stamps.  I am entering this card at CAS Colours and Sketches #332 and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:  Anything Goes.

Another card using those fabulous Catherine Pooler stamps....and I am entering it at Just Add Ink #468: Just Add "C" (CITRUS),  Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:  Anything Goes, and Simon Says Monday Challenge:  Bright and Cheerful.

One more birthday card for my stash, using a new to me older die from Avery Elle.  I am entering this card at Seize the Birthday, without the topping, Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:  Anything Goes and  Simon Says Monday Challenge:  Bright and Cheerful.

Last up, an encouraging card using Kim's new Paper Smooches Sunnyville stamps, and I am entering this card at Paper Smooches August School and Words Challenge (encouragement for the first day of school, and the words are in the sentiment), and also at Addicted to Stamps and More #352: Make Your Mark.

That's it for me this week.  Hopefully, I'll get some crafting time this weekend--I've got loads to work on now.

Thanks for Visiting

My Crafty Roundup

I have finally had a crafty weekend!  Here's what I made:

I am entering this card at PTI Make it Monday #349: Negative Die Cut Backgrounds.  I used a die from the Shakers and Sprinkles kit, which I had completely forgotten about.  I am also entering this card at Just Us Girls #473: LOVE and Simon Says Monday Challenge: Love is in the Air.

My next card was inspired by the sketch at Just Add Ink #442 and The Paper Players #427: Love is in the Air.

Last of the 'love' cards is a card I made inspired by the challenges at Poppystamps #53: Love Me Do and Addicted to Stamps and More #326: Anything Goes.  I used the Party Lanterns die from Poppystamps for this card, and cut my lanterns out of a paint chip, which is how I got the nice ombre colors.  I am also entering this card at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #127: V is for Valentine.  Still not a snarky card, but this is the least mushy of my 3 valentines today.

Next up is a card inspired by the sketch at  MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge#422.  I rotated the sketch by 90 degrees and used some of my newest MFT wine stamps and dies.

I used Copics to color this festive penguin, and am entering this card at Day 1 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  It's my first time playing along, and I am going to try to participate as much as I can.

I am also entering this card at CAS(E) this Sketch #307, Addicted to CAS # 152: Birds, CAS on Friday #150: Birthday.

Last up is a pair of black and white birthday cards inspired by the challenge at Seize the Birthday

I made a second version of this card, and am entering it at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.
