A Quick Kiddie Make!
Evening. Here's a quick card I made to add to my stash for the younger children that my friend's and family have! It was a quick make - I used a pre-coloured image from Digistamp Boutique with some Papermania papers and added some dies cut with my MFT die-namics and that was about it!!
I've followed the sketch over at Digi Sketch Challenge and I'm also entering it into Digistamp Boutique's monthly customer challenge. That's it for now - must dash otherwise I'll miss the deadline for the challenge and Dancing on Ice is on!! Bye for now, my lovelies..............xx

Beautiful Blue...
Morning! It's Friday and so there's a new sketch over at the Friday Sketch Challenge - this week it's a fab, versatile one by Carole, and here's my take on it:
I've used Digistamp Boutique's Rosie with Flower coloured with Spectrum Noirs and Promarkers. The papers, ribbon and bow are Papermania's capsule collection 'Burleigh Blue' and the Flower Cabochons, which I thought were a nice addition and worked with the sketch - are from My Mum's Craft Shop. I love this beautiful deep royal blue and it's makes a change to make a girly card in blue instead of pink for a change!!
I'm also going to enter my card into Crafty Ribbon's Challenge #53 'Clean and Simple plus ribbon', Digistamp Boutique's Monthly Challenge and My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge #7 'Just for Girls'.
I think that's it! I hope those of you in the UK are coping with this heatwave - I think it's going to be a scorcher today!! Don't forget to join in over at the Friday Sketch Challenge - Bye for now.........xxx

Abi and her Flowers
Evening ladies (and gentlemen, of course!) I'm back to share a card I made to enter into the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge #205 (I've rotated the sketch) and Digistamp Boutique's Monthly Challenge, here it is....
Grrrrr.....it keeps uploading it 'on the wonk' again!! I thought I'd cracked this problem because usually when it happens I save it rotated 90 degrees so that when it appears it's the right way up again but for some reason tonight, it's rotating the pic that's the right way up and posting the one I've rotated exactly as it's been saved!!! Does this happen to anyone else?
To make my card, I've used Digistamp Boutique's Abi with Flowers and coloured the image with Spectrum Noirs and Promarkers and I've used some freebie papers from a magazine with some flat blooms from Wild Orchid Crafts, Ribbon from Hobbycraft, a sentiment from Craftwork Cards and some pearls from my stash which I coloured with my pens. I hope ya like it! It's nice and bright - unlike the weather we're having right now!! And it's another card to add to my 'flat' collection that's more suitable for posting!
I hope you're all having a good week - I've put tomorrow aside to come round and catch up on my visiting, so I'll 'see' you all tomorrow! Lots of hugs..........xxx

Party Time Freya
Afternoon! Have you had a nice long Bank Holiday weekend? Mine's been nice and relaxing and I've actually got a fair bit of cardmaking done - whoop, whoop!!! Sam went to his friend's birthday party on Saturday from early evening until late and then by the time we got up on Sunday morning, he got dressed, had his breakfast and was off back to his friend's to stay the night and I've not gotta pick him up til 7pm. The weather's been gorge today!! Me and my Mum and Aunt went and did a little bit of shopping - I stocked up in the £ shop and I needed some printer paper cos I was down to my last few sheets. While I was in Staples, I got a Desk Tidy (the Martha Stewart collaboration range) to match my other craft desk bits for 40% off, so I saved nearly £6 - and it's a luverly Duck Egg Blue colour to match the Matthew Williamson wallpaper in my front room!!!
Anyhoo, here's one of the cards I made - to enter into Digistamp Boutique's Monthly Comp:
I've used 'Party Time Freya' from Digistamp Boutique coloured with Speccies and Promarkers with some stickles and glossy accents, Imaginisce papers and Chipboard Sentiment, MFT Open Scallop Border Die, Memory Box Bow Corner Die topped with some ribbon and gems from my stash.
I need to try and make some 'flat' cards a bit more often cos they're much better for posting! Hope ya like it! Enjoy your evening............xx

Lilac and Lemon
Evening Everyone! I've got a very summery card to share with you tonight - which is quite at odds with the weather we're having outside but it made me look forward to the warmer weather and reminded me how much I love this colour combo too!! Here it is:
I'm going to enter my card into the following challenges:
I went to the cinema earlier with my bestie - we saw 'I Give It A Year' and it was hilarious!!! A few times, I was laughing so much, I couldn't breathe!! Good job there was only about 5 of us at the screening. I highly recommend it, if you fancy a laugh (and you don't mind a bit of 'crudity'!!) Bye for now then...............xx
Ingredients:
Image - Digistamp Boutique coloured with Speccies and Pro/Flex-markers.
Papers - Prima.
Sentiment - Elzybells.
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts.
Other - WRMK Ticket Stub Corner Chomper, Tonic Butterfly Punch, Wooden Butterfly, Ribbon and Pearls from stash.
I'm going to enter my card into the following challenges:
- Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch 194-5.
- Nutcrafters - Challenge #37 Lilac and Lemon.
- Bloggers Challenge - Friendship.
- Digistamp Boutique - February Customer Competition.
- Digi Sketch Challenge - Theme 'Dear Friend'.

Spring Louie
Evening Everyone!
Here's a card I've made using one of the new images from Digistamp Boutique - if you've not seen them yet, I'd recommend a looksie cos there are some fab ones, including this one:
So - what do you think of how I've coloured Louie the Bear? It was kind of an experiment with my new flexmarkers but I was pretty pleased with how he turned out.
I'm also entering my card into Sweet Sketch Wednesday, as I've followed Sketch 192, MarkerPOP's 'Texturizing' challenge and the monthly challenge at Digistamp Boutique and I think that's it.
You know I've just been watching a TV programme called 'Taboo: Ugly' about so called ugly people - or society's perception of 'ugly' and there's a little 8 year old boy on there from America called Nathaniel who's got Treacher Collins syndrome, which causes facial deformity and my heart is literally breaking for him because of how cruel people can be to such a lovely little boy, just because of the way he looks. I think it's the people that are cruel to him and those that judge others for what's on the outside instead of the inside, that are the ugly ones!!! I'd love to give Nathaniel a big hug and tell him how brave and wonderful he is! With that said, I'm off to visit you all now! TTFN.........x

Penguin in Love x
Afternoon lovelies! It's Friday, so it's time for a new sketch over at the Friday Sketch Challenge and this week, it's a fab one from Kelly. I've rotated it to make my card cos the image was the other way round....
Sorry that the picture quality's not that great - I forgot to take a pic before I gave it to my Mum and Dad (from my son) and so I had to take it with my iphone at their house - I'll try and get a better one at some point if I get the chance.
It's actually quite funny if you read the post over at Friday Sketch Challenge cos reading it sounds exactly like me!! We're right on top of Christmas now and as usual, I've been working til the last minute to get all my cards made - I've even had to.....buy a couple this year (shock, horror LOL!!!) I too will be making a new year's resolution to 'be more organised with my crafting' - and you may have noticed that over the last couple of months, my posting has been a bit erratic - I have had a lot going on, which I won't bore you with but another NY resolution is definitely to get back to my blogging best and I'm going to use the relaxing time over the holidays to catch up with you all.
Right, I'd better go, been bleating on for long enough methinks. I'm all excited about tomorrow cos we're going ice skating, which I love (although not been for ages, so keep your fingers crossed for me that I don't break anything!!!??) Back soon....................xx
Ingredients:
Image - Digistamp Boutique coloured with Spectrum Noirs and Promarkers (I'm a big fan of mixing 'em up lately!)
Papers - Freebies from a magazine (again!)
Sentiment - Computer generated.
Dies/Punches - Spellbinders Fancy Oval and Scalloped Oval Nesties, Memory Box Snowflake, Cuttlebug Vintage Corner dies and various snowflake punches.
Other - Whitewash Coredinations (love this stuff!!) and Shimmer Dots from stash.

DIY Jim
Evening! Hope you're all well? It's my lovely mum's birthday today which means it won't be a blink of the eye til Christmas now! I've probably told you this before but it's funny the way things work out in my family, it's my mum's birthday then two weeks later on 27th, it's my mum and dad's anniversary, then 2 weeks later on the 11th December, it's my birthday (whoop, whoop - all cards gratefully received ;-)) then 2 weeks later, it's Christmas day, then 1 week later, it's my son's birthday! We coulda planned it a bit better, eh!!?
The card I'm sharing tonight is one I've made for my aunt to give to my uncle - it's his birthday at the end of the week!
I've followed the sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and I've used a Digistamp Boutique image, so I'll enter it into their monthly competition and I think that's it!
Right, I'm off to try and sort my TV out - has anyone else got Sky and is having trouble with there not being any TV listings showing on most channels tonight? TTFN lovelies............xx

Do you get the impression I don't like him much?!? Ha, ha. Thanks for popping over to 'see' me. Bye for now..................xx

A Very Good Penguin
Evening! Just like every year, it's suddenly struck me that I really need to pull my finger out on the chrimbo card making! Each year, I say to myself 'I'll start earlier this year' but do I 'eck!! But anyway, here's one that I made to join in with the Inspired by Stamping sketch challenge (IBSIC#30)
I've used one of the new images from Digistamp Boutique - how cute!!?? Coloured with Spectrum Noirs - I coloured the background of the image in a very light green to match the papers cos I thought it would work better, the papers are last year's faves (and still a fave this year!) - Echo Park's Holly Jolly, which I stocked up on in the sale at the beginning of the year. Then I've added some ribbon from my stash and some punched layered snowflakes that seem to become a staple embellie of mine when it comes to christmas cards!! So - what d'you think?
Just gotta say before I go....only 2 more days til the new series of The Walking Dead!!! OMG, I am sooooo excited, I watched the first three series repeats in preparation and now I literally cannot wait! Right, that's it from me for now................xxx

Chirpie Chirpie Cheep Cheep
Morning! There's a new challenge starting today at My Mum's Craft Shop Challenges and this week, we want to see some embossing on your projects. Here's my card:
I'm not sure you can see my not so deliberate mistake in the photo?!! I embossed my paper the wrong way round but didn't have enough left to just throw it away and start again and as it turns out, I don't think it looks too bad?!
I'm entering my card over at The Sweet Stop, as I followed Sketch #91 (I've been loving their 3rd anniversary free sketch challenges over the last few weeks cos they have some fabby sketches) and I'm also entering it into The Digistamp Boutique's May Customer Challenge.
As you read this (if you're reading it on Tuesday morning), I'll be on the sidelines of our local swimming pool, cheering my son on in the qualifying heats of a local schools swimming gala. He was feeling really nervous about it last night but he took part last year and did really well, so fingers crossed!!
OK, well I'll be off now - thanks loads for visiting me and any comments you might leave, I really appreciate each and every one. TTFN.............xx

Teddy is 1!!
Just a quick post cos I'm on my way out.....you might remember me mentioning one of my best friend's has a gorgeous little boy called Teddy and I can't believe he's now turning one!! She's having a tea party for him today and that's where I'm off to. I've bought him the coolest present - it's a cookie monster from Sesame Street wearing a rucksack on it's back and you press it's foot and it says 'Hiya' 'I smell cookies' and when you put these plastic cookies in it's mouth or the rucksack, it counts. Honestly, it's hilarious!! Hope he likes it as much as I do LOL!!! Here's the card I made for him:
And that's it!!! I'm going to enter it into Digistamp Boutique's April Customer Competition and Challenge 78 over at Truly Scrumptious, which is the fabby sketch I followed. Right, I'm going - got tea to drink.....xxx
