Cupcakes and Digi Paper...yummm
FS101 Jaydekay
Today's featured stamper is Judy(jaydekay). She has a fantastic gallery, full of yummy eye candy. Unfortunately, my card creeped away from me in the end...but the general idea is still there....I think, LOL!! I chose this card...one because I wanted to do a card for the Limited Supplies Challenge from Friday, and I thought instead of black and white, I could go red and white. I also added layers, eliminated the sentiment panel and added it to the bottom of the card, added a heart(or two), and used a small strip of DP instead of the whole base.
Okay, it RAN away...I swear I will try again, LOL!! My DP is from the Patterns Pack that was a Level One Hostess set for SU. I added some red brads to the sides of it, cause I love brads, LOL!! My main image is from the Whipper Snapper set Bear Hugs. It was designed by Anna Wight and I LOVE her work(like you didn't already know that)!! I colored the image with my BRAND NEW COPICS....WAHOOO!! Yep, I finally took the plunge and I gotta tell you...should NEVER of waited this long. One good thing though, by getting good with the Su markers, it makes Copics EASY...seriously. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black, and the balloons were done twice. I cut one set out and popped them up. I stamped the sentiment directly on my Kraft layer and then punched a heart in it. I then added a piece of Real Red patterns paper BEHIND the layer(on the base) and then popped the top layer up so there is some depth to it. I added a second heart and then pierced around it, the main image, and the card base. My ribbon came from All That Scraps. So, what do you think??!! Thanks for stopping by, have a great night!!
