Hey everyone! Happy Valentine's Day!!

Today is my first day as a Krafty Girl! Woop! Woop! We are celebrating our very first challenge today with a blog hop. If you just hopped from Amy's blog you are in the right place. If you just happen to be visiting me today you can start the hop at the Krafty Girls Blog.

The challenge today is Home Sweet Home! Make any craft project showcasing where you are from.
I am from Newfoundland, Canada but live in Alberta. I thought what better way to showcase where I'm from, use a Canadian Flag and a really sassy sentiment of course.
Here's what I came up with.

Recipe:
Standard A2 size card
Maple Leaf cut from Gypsy Wanderings at 2.35 inches
Red Foil Paper - Recollections
White Glitter Paper-DCWV
Sentiment - Pink by Design
Also used my gypsy(shocker eh!), atg gun, versamark, lady bug embossing powder, heat gun, dimensionals and red copic to color the edges of the leaf. It was white core and I didn't like the look.

I wanted to capture how shiny my card is.

I love this cute sentiment by Pink by Design.

I used one of the stamps to make the background.

I do have a little 'Candy' for you today. It's a Pink by Design 'Oh Boy' stamp set

Harvest Pumpkins Easel Card

Recipe:
A2 sized easel card
Patterned paper - DCWV
Cardstock - DCWV and Papertrey Ink
Pumpkins - cut from Gypsy Wanderings at 2.5 and 1.75 then welded the shadows together
Sentiments - My Craft Spot
Sentiment die cuts - My Creative Time and Papertrey Ink
Ribbon - Papertrey Ink
Also used atg, buttons from stash, glue dots, chalk, dimensionals, memento inks and twine from Pink by Design

I chalked the insides of the pumpkins with brown chalk.

        I just  love My Craft Spot's stamps!

My first little bow in a button. Cute eh!
