Floral Stripes

It's been a hot minute since I posted last.  Sorry, but sometimes life and work get busy and blogging suffers.  But I have a free evening and I hope to draft a few posts including this one!

UberChic 29-02.

Started with a base of two coats of Olive Ave Polish Skylight, no top coat.

Topped accent nails with Polished for Days Esperance.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped lines with image from Lina Feeling Shapely! 01 using MdU 80 and flowers from UberChic 29-02 using MdU 80 and 15.

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

As if these weren't busy enough, I decided to add a few dots for some interest using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Which version do you like best?  I think I prefer with the dots.  More whimsical!

Daisies!

Another variation of my favourite nail design with daisies!  All the daisies on my nails!  The great thing is that there are so many stamping plates that have daisies that with some different polishes and different stamping plates, you can change up the look and create something different than the last time.  I should create a new label of daisies, as I have so many daisy nails!  Anyway, here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Color Club Spell It Out with accent nails of Morgan Taylor Take Me To Your Tribe, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

KADS Ocean 017

Stamped lines using KADS Ocean 017 using MdU 91.

Stamped daisies with image from CjS V-37 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Added dots using BKind B-a-n-a-n-a-s.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Stay tuned for more daisy (or floral) nails; you know at some time, I'll be sharing more!

Blue and Daisy Nails

As I mentioned a post or two ago, I have lots of nails to share but there isn't much variety that isn't blue or a daisy nail.  So surprise, surprise...here's a blue daisy nail!  But like I mentioned in the post, these daisy nails are what I like to wear on my nails, so I do them often, although I do try to change up how they look if I'm so inspired so they aren't so repetitive.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of OPI Tile Art To Warm Your Heart (thumb), OPI Duomo Days, Isola Nights (index and pinky) and Glam Polish Who Is The Most Hansomest....Me! over a coat of Cupcake White Pop, no top coat.

Topped the index and pinky with Garden Path Always Dark.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped lines with MdU 68 using image from Lilic's A08.

Added daisies from CjS-346 using MdU 68 and Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Decided to shadow stamp some of the daisies on the middle and ring finger using Painted Polish Deux 2.0.  Unfortunately, I didn't line up the shadow very well, but I wasn't mad about it; I think this gives the images lots of colour and interest.

Added floral centers using Painted Polish Stamped in Starfruit.

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Bunnies!

Sharing these bright bunnies for Easter!

Started with a base of Morgan Taylor Baby It's Bold Outside, no top coat.

Topped with All Mixed Up Lacquers Totally Bonkers.  I love this glitter; it was nice to use it again and the mix of glitters and the pop of colour was fantastic!  However, what wasn't fantastic was the amount of fishing I had to do for the glitters plus the goopy base it was in, which resulted in quite a bit of polish sitting on my nails to get this amount of glitter on them.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  I dried my nails for quite a while under the nail dryer so get hopefully get the thick base to dry before stamping.

Stamped using Simply Polished Spring with MdU 107 (thumb), MdU AZ Easter with MdU 15 (index), MdU AZ Easter 3 using MdU 91 (middle), MdU Peeps with MdU 11 (ring) and Nicole Diary-042 with MdU 39 (pinky).  I had to stamp all images 2-3 times to get the vibrant colour and you can see that the base wasn't dry on all nails as it indented from the stamping.

After topping with Girly Bits Glitter Glaze, topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I stamped Ms. Cindy but slightly different as, even though I love glitter, it still is a PITA to remove, so topped Pahlish Love To Love You Pride 2025 on same base, then stamped with an image from MdU Peeps using same stamping polishes.

Another St. Patrick's Day Mani

Look at me; doing a second St. Patrick's Day mani in one day!  I had done quite a few St. Pats manis but time got away from me and I didn't get them shared, so while I have a good start to next years themed manis, I wanted to share another as I have them ready to share.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a skittle base of Pahlish Wild Lands (pinky, middle, index), Painted Polish Irish You Luck on Cupcake White Pop (ring) and Zoya Tilda (thumb).

Topped thumb with Glam Polish Wicked Cute.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using CjS H-103 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, MdU 50, MdU 8 and Painted Polish Woodland Whimsey.  Stamped index and pinky with image from BeautyBigBang XL-067 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, and ring and middle with image from Lantern & Wren A Wee Bit Irish, having shrunk the words on the ring finger, using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and MdU 39.

Shadow stamped middle with MdU 39 and ring with Painted Polish Woodland Whimsey.

Added small shamrocks on ring, middle and thumb using image from CjS H-50 Painted Polish Blanc Slate and Woodland Whimsey.

CjS H-103

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Accent nail is Jen & Berries The Thing Cannot Be Described (LBOH February 2025), stamped with image from Lantern & Wren A Wee Bit Irish, using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Wasn't It A (St. Patrick's Day) Party!

With St. Patrick's Day being tomorrow, this past weekend was a popular day for St. Patrick's Day parties (or so I'm told), so sharing these fun nails that would have been perfect for a party, had I gone to one.  And the perfect St. Patrick's Day party song is Wasn't It A Party by The Irish Rovers, for #MusicManiMonday.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a skittle base of Glam Polish Happy Grass (PPU March 2025) on pinky and index, Glam Polish There Ain't Nothing Gonna Stop Me Now on thumb, and DND DC 2521 Quantum Leap on the rest.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  Excuse the smear on the middle; it was three coats of polish and wasn't quite dry.

Stamped using images from M561 on index and pinky using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and What's Up Pod Partners.  Thumb is also Maniology M561, shadow stamped using MdU 11 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.  Ring finger is MdU Irish 1 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, MdU 13 and China Glaze GR8 on the hat band on the stamper decal.  Middle finger is layered stamping using CjS H-104 using MdU 60,68, 39, 11, 13 and Moyra SP02 in that order for the rainbow.  The gold coins are stamped with Hit the Bottle To Have and to Gold with image from CjS H-104.  The orange on the ring and finger was a grid type of stamping image that didn't stamp well so I had to go in another direction.

Isolated the coins from the image on CjS H-104 and stamped them using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.  Hand painted the rainbow on the thumb (not very well!).

Maniology M561

CjS H-104

Added a few accents for interest and filler with images from Maniology M561 on middle, thumb and ring using Painted Polish Woodland Whimsy and Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.
