Tilda blowing Hearts

Here is finally a card from me!:) And not related to Christmas either.
It is for the new challenge at MDUC, and the theme is ANYTHING GOES.
I have coloured Tilda blowing hearts from the With Love Collection. I have also used the post stamps from the same collection from Magnolia.
And I don't need to mention that I love the new collection!!;)

The card is made with a die from Go Kreate. 

And I have colored the seem binding ribbon myself using a homemade glimmer mist, where I have used distress reinkers-victorian velvet, dusty concord and tattered rose, mixed with water.

Pakkelapper med Nativity-stempler

Det er årets siste utfordring hos Hjerteboden's Juleblogg. Og denne måneden er det pakkelapper som står i sentrum:) Du må ha tre julekreasjoner, og minst en av dem skal være en pakkelapp. 

Jeg har laget tre, når jeg først var igang;)

Litt julepapir på tagen, som er fra Maja Design (It's Christmas Time). Tagene er laget med en DooHickeys fra Magnolia som heter Tilda Tag.

Ellers er de søte motivene fra Magnolia, og Nativity Collection 2012. På baksidene har jeg stemplet "To" og "From" som er fra en eldre kolleksjon fra Magnolia (Raising the Celing Collection & Right Trugh my Heart Collecton 2010). Motivene er stemplet på Langton akvarellpapir, og malt med Distress Reinkers.

Jeg har svertet kantene med Distress Ink pute-Walnut Stain og Ink Blending Tool.

Edwin as a Wiseman & how to make a shaped card ♥

Here comes a new Christmas Card I have made with two of the lovely Nativity stamps I recived from Magnolia. Here you can see Edwin as Wiseman masked together with Paradise Palm both from the Nativity Collection 2012. I have also used the lovely text Merry Christmas from the A Christmas Story Collection 2012.

I have tried the "No Line" colouring again, where I have stamped the image on a regular paper three times before I stamp it on the water colour paper. Later I have coloured his eyes, eyebrows and the three spots on his cheeks with a black pen. The freckles are made with Distress Marker-Tea Dye.

My colouring with Distress Ink-Reinkers:

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, the cheeks are coloured with a mix of Tattered Rose and Aged Mahogany. 

Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain.

Clothes : Weathered Wood, Pumice Stone, Frayed Burlap and Black Soot 

Crown: Scattered Straw, Aged Mahogany, Black Soot.

Paradise Palm: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Shabby Shutters, Black Soot.

I have used a number of DooHickeys on my card too, here are So Wrapped Lovely and Poinsettia. The tag is called Tilda Tag.

The whole card is shaped with a GoKreate die, called Large Frame Frilly #7 (Product no: 160027). 

After some questions about it, I will now show you how I cut out the shaped card.

I use a Kraft card stock measuring 15x30 cm, a panel 15x15 cm, and the pattern paper 15x15 cm.

I start with the Kraft Card Stock:

 Which I fold in the middle, like this:

Then I find the largest of the Go Kreate dies (14x14 cm) and place it on the cutting machine like this:

I then take the Kraft Card Stock and lay it on the die, but leave some open on the top:

Then I run the die with the paper in through the cutting machine (I have a transparent plate over and one under the die).

And here is what the card base looks like:

I don't want the card to be flat on the top, so therefore I cut out a panel and a pattern paper to place on the front. I need a panel under the pattern paper so that I can sew them together, and then glue them to the card base.

Here are the three parts cut out.

And you can see how I place the panel and the pattern paper on to the base.

I only glue them to the base after they are sewed together and the front is fully decorated.

Happy New Year Tilda ♥

Here comes a wine tag I made for the new challenge at MDUC. 

Cause this week we want to see WINE TAGS!!

Bjarne and I give away some wine bottles as Christmas Greeting to our neighbours and some uncle and aunts, so this will fit nicely on one of these gifts:)

I have used a really cool stamp from Magnolia called Happy New Year Tilda for my tag.
It is from A Christmas Story Collection 2012.
The beautiful text "A Merry Christmas" is also from the same collection.  

The gorgeous red berries are also from Magnolia.
The red flowers are from WOC.

I use brush size 0 and 00, and the paper I use is called Langton.

I have colored the image with Distress Ink, re-inkers.

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, the cheeks are coloured with a mix of Tattered Rose and Aged Mahogany. 

Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain.

Dress & feather: Aged Mahogany and I have used Black Soot on the darkest spots. The glitter you can see on the feather is Stickles-Star Dust.

Shoes: Black Soot

Her pearl necklace and the white spots are made with Liquid Pearls-White Opal.

I have put on some Magnolia DooHickeys on my tag, such a the Heart Swirl and So Wrapped Lovely. 

The beautiful papers are from Maja Design and the latest collection called It's Christmas Time.

To make this wine tag I have followed the same measurements as I did when I made a similar tag, you can read about it HERE.

I have a pocket on the tag, and inside the pocket it is a smaller tag to write your Christmas greeting on. 

All paper edges are inked with Distress Ink pad-Walnut Stain. And then sewed together.

To make the hole at the top I have used Circle spellbinder dies.

Holy Tilda with Violin ♥

Here I am again with a new card:) 

And this time it is Holy Tilda with Violin from Magnolia's Nativity Collection 2012. 

She is really too cute for words:)

The stamps around her are mainly from Stempelglede. 

The lovely papers are from Maja Design, and the paper pad called It's Christmas Time.

Both this image and the image I posted yesterday were colored at Stordascrappen some weeks ago. I was really not satisfied with the coloring, and consider to throw them both in the bin. But after matching them with the lovely Maja papers, and a doily behind, it went ok.. 

I have been really busy at work, with Magnolia Ink and the workshops at Stordascrappen lately, so therefor a bit silent in my blog. And I haven't had time to visit all the wonderful blogs of yours either..

So sorry about that!

I hope I will have some more time crafting the weeks ahead:)

On the photo under you can see the gorgeous flower berries from Magnolia together with some roses from WOC. I have also bought myself the new Christmas lace DooHickey from Magnolia and used it on this card. It is really lovely!

I got the idea to put a pearl string around the image from Debbie Dolphin's stunning cards:))

She is such an amazing crafter and a lovely friend too:)) 

I am so glad that I have gotten to know her through my hobby. 

My dream is to travel to England and visit her in 2013. 

I really hope it will be a dream come true ♥

Free Tilda stamp ♥

Hi! 

Here I am again with a new Christmas Card. 

I have used the lovely Maja Design papers, from the 6x6 papers It's Christmas Time.

The gorgeous stamp is of course from Magnolia.

I am not sure what her name is, but she was the extra gift in the latest Magnolia Ink:)

Have you read the magazine yet?!! 

It is filled with wonderful creations from the DT members in Magnolia. 

 I colour the image with Distress Ink, reinkers. And here are the colours that I have used:

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose

Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain

Dress: A mix with Weathered Wood, Dusty Concord, Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose. And I ahve also used Black Soot for the darkest spots.

Tights: Weathered Wood, Black Soot.

Shoes: Antique Linene, Walnut Stain, Black Soot.

The beautiful flowerberries are from Magnolia. The rest of the flowers are from WOC.

This week's theme at MDUC is 

ALL ABOUT BOOKS.

I have made a book card, with a shaker box:)

The beautiful papers I have used are from Maja Design and the Vintage Summer Basic collection.

The gorgeous stamp is of course from Magnolia.

The book measures 11x15x3 cm. 

I use brush size 0 and 00, and the paper I use is called Langton, 

and you can get it in Hjerteboden.

I have colored the image with Distress Ink, re-inkers.

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, the cheeks are coloured with a mix of Tattered Rose and Aged Mahogany.

Above you can see that I have filled a bottle from Tim Holtz with glitter, and then also put a text saying "Baby Alfred" inside.
