Hydrangea from Just Inklined

Today I have another card, made with an image from Just Inklined, to show you.  This is called Hydrangea which is available to buy and download HERE.


I used ProMarkers to colour the image, the BP's are from Nitwits, for the border I used a Fiskars punch, the corner is a Cuttlebug die, the gem is a 'Dazzlers' and the bead pin I made myself, pearls are from Mei Flower and ribbon from my stash.

Just Inklined Blog Hop


It's the first Monday of the month so that means it's time for a blog hop over on Just Inklined.
This months host is Lori and her theme is Handmade Flowers & Lace.
Here's my DT card.


I've these stamps for about a month now and have been itching to use them...... just never had the time!  This set is called 'Poinsettia Farm' which you can buy HERE at Just Inklined.  
I used ProMarkers to colour the image, glitter is the usual chameleon glitter from Debbi Moore Designs.  I used a Cuttlebug folder for the embossing and the flower was cut using Spellbinders dies as was the lace and the holly leaves, a Cheery Lynn die.

Winter Wonderland - Ribbons & Lace

A new challenge has just started over on Winter Wonderland, our theme for this one is 'Ribbon & Lace' and our sponsor is Crafters Companion with a prize of a £10 gift voucher to spend in their online store, you'll be spoilt for choice!

Here's my DT card.

 I decided on a change for this one, not the usual coloured image.  I used a Memory Box snowflake die, cut out a few times.  I also cut one out and cut it up for the corners.  I used a Cuttlebug folder to create the embossed panel, the ribbon and lace are from my stash and the sentiment is computer generated.

ILPM's #128 - Spots & Stripes

Don't you just love these sweet images from Saturated Canary, this one is called Whispy and she's coloured with ProMarkers and FlexMarkers.  The papers are from Nitwits, flowers from WOC, the foliage was punched and coloured with a PM, the bead sprays and bead pin I made myself, the corner was cute with a Cuttlebug die, blue gems and glitter from Debbi Moore Designs, ribbon from my stash.

DDSC #108 - Work Related

It's an even number for this challenge so it means it my teams turn to host the challenge at Digi Doodle Shop Challenges and our theme is 'Work Related', so you card must represent some kind of work. As usual we have a $10 gift certificate  to spend in our online store, Digi Doodle Shop for the lucky winner.

DDSC #104 - April Showers

I used the image 'Gone Fishing which you can buy and download HERE.  I used ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to colour this image, the BPs are from Raspberry Road, I used a MS punch for the border and a Cuttlebug die for the corners.

I've used an image from Lili of the Valley, Pom Pom, I think and it's coloured with ProMarkers and Flexmarkers.  I used a mixture of dies from spellbinders, Mariannes and Doo Hickies.

DDSC #94 - One For The Boys

It's Thursday and that means it's time for a new challene over on Digi Doodle Shop Challenges and our theme for this one is 'One For The Boys'.  I always groan when I have a male card to make, I don't find them easy at all, but I think that goes for most card makers.  But there's no getting away with it, we need to make them....... lol.  As usual we have a $10 gift certificate for the lucky winner of this challenge.  You can spend this in our online store, Digi Doodle Shop.

I used 2 digi images for this card, Shower Tree, which you can buy and download HERE and  Tiger, which you can buy and download HERE.  I coloured the images with ProMarkers and use distress ink for the grass and sky.  The corners were cut on my Big Shotp using a Cuttlebug die.

ILPM's #98 - Buttons & Lace

This is for my best and longest friends 50th birthday on the 12th of this month, she's a massive cat lover so hopefully she'll love this card.  I used a Grande Nestie for the shape of this card, cut on my Calibur, I put gems inside the buttons.  The stamp is by House Mouse which I bought in Florida, this is the first time it's been inked up, aren't these just such cute stamps?  I used ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to colour this one.

DCD #105 WOW

Hi everyone and Happy New to you all, hope you've had a great Christmas too.
Today sees the re-start of the challenges over on Die Cut Dreams, after our Christmas break.  This challenge is called WOW or White On White......  For this one we don't want to see any colour at all on your entries, everything has to be white, no colouring! this means no colour on skin tones, hair, greenery on flowers, even the stamens in the flowers have got to be white.

SCSC #161 - A Sketch

This weeks challenge has just started over on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and we have a lovely sketch by Jane, for you to follow this week.

All the embossing is done using the Cuttlebug Embossing folders, and I used Go Kreate dies for the square shapes.  I also added glitter to the circle embossed images.

DCD #98

The new challenge has just started over on Die Cut Dreams and this week we want to see flowers on your work, you MUST use at least 5 flowers.  The prize for this challenge is a GDT spot with us for challenge #100.
Here's my DT card.
 I used a stamp from Stampin Up for this one, and added just a little bit of glitter.  I ran the card stock through an frame embossing folder before stamping.  The flowers were cut with a Spellbinders Poinsettia die and a little bit of glitter added, the leaves we cut using a punch.

Just Magnolia

Theres a great sketch to follow this week for the challenge over on Just Magnolia. This is the first time I've used this image, (kindly sent to my by a blogging friend) I think it's just so cute. I coloured the image with PM's, the flowers were cut using a cuttlebug die, the greeting is a stamp from Stamps Away.

Whiff of Joy & Sketch Saturday

I've combined 2 challenges this week, Whiff of Joy and Sketch Saturday. Over on Whiff of Joy we had to use a charm somewhere, I used a strawberry charm to match the WOJ image, the sentiment is also a WOJ stamp. I used this weeks sketch on Sketch Saturday. I love this sketch and will use it again.
I coloured the image with PM's, used the medium and small retro flower punch and the corners are a cuttlebug die.
