The new challenge has just started over on I ♥ ProMarkers where the theme is 'Make your own background papers'.  We have 2 sponsors for this one, Marianne Design  who's price is a surprise and Squigglefly who's prize is a choice of 3 digi images.

The image is from Squigglefly.  I made the background, by stamping butterfly with Versamark, and heating embossing them with clear embossing powder.  I then used Distress Inks to colour the card.  The embossing resists the ink, making it stand out more.

Wendy from the ILPM's DT did this fold last week and I just had to give it a go..... it's called a Double Dutch fold and really easy to make, a bit different too I thought.  The image is from Sherri Baldy, BP's from Pink Petticoat and the snowflakes were cut with Diesire dies.

Sorry it's a rubbish picture, I always have difficulty taking pics of white cards.  Anyway, the image is from Mo's Digital Pencil Too.  I cut the base of the card with Go Kreate dies.

This rose is a stamp from Visible Image, which I coloured for last weeks challenge, but I've had terrible sciatica and was unable to sit long enough to finish it.  So I thought why waste it, I can use it for the next challenge, I just had to mat and layer it and make it into a card. 

For the background I stamped randomly with a stamp called 'Field of Sky', but I have no idea who the maker is, I then distressed a little with Dried Marigold Distress ink, and added the ribbon and pearls.

This image is a digi from A Day For Daisies.  It's a new one to me, one of the DT girls used it last week and when I saw it I just had to have it...... lol.  The BP if from Michele R Designs.  My embossing is the piece of card under the ribbon and I heat embossed the sentiment.

This is a digi image from The Paper Shelter, she is called Fairy of the Cookies.  I've had it for along time and this is the first time I've used it!

The BP's are from a First Edition stack which I stuck to the base card, cut around it, and added a bit of distress inks to soften the edges.

This image is a digi from the Katy Sue CD 'Fabulous Shoes'.  I've had this CD for ages and this is the first time I've used anything from it, terrible or what..... lol.  I added Glossy Accents to the dots on the mushrooms and used a MS punch for the border, sentiment is from Lily of the Valley, the BP I've had for such a long time and have no idea where it's from..... lol

This image is from Just Inklined and always makes me smile...... lol.  Obviously he's coloured ginger as my cat Dexter is a ginger!  The BP's are from Pink Petticoat and I cut the sentiment on my Cameo.
