"Be My Valentine" this Week at Pixie Dust Studio"

Are you ready for the BIG day? It's almost here! Why, Valentine's Day of course! I LOVE Valentine's Day, and with a name like Darling, I almost have to! LOL I love the colors: red, pink, silver....just perfect for the holiday! And don't forget CHOCOLATE! You have to love a holiday where the favorite treat is a big heart shaped box full of chocolate!

This week's challenge is: Create a Valentine card or project using pink/red. Easy Peasy! I used "Hart the Bumble Bee" from the Cupid's Corner Collection for this week's card.

"Say It with Roses" this Week at Pixie Dust Studio!

Are you ready for Valentine's Day? The Pixies are! We've been working with Kathy's adorable images from the Pixie Dust Studio! I chose "Love is in the Air" from the newest collection, "Cupid's Corner".

I traded her balloon for a long stem rose. Ahhh, the joys of digital stamping!

This week's challenge is "Say It with Roses". Use roses or red flowers on your card or project.

I chose to make my own flowers. I found the tutorial HERE , created by the fabulously talented Leanne! It was easy and fun. I did paint one side of my heart petals with "Glossy Accents" and dried them with my heat gun before wrinkling them up. I think they turned out Gorgeous! I free-hand cut the leaves, touched them up with Copics, and slightly crumpled them.

.....Happy Birthday to me! It's Day One of Sneak Peeks, and it's also my B'Day!

This image is "The Notebook". Do you remember the movie? It's one of my faves! Did you know that the "Kiss" scene won "Best Kiss" at the People's Choice Awards? The acceptance on stage actually rivaled the scene in the movie!
