Some giveaway winnings!
I was lucky enough to win giveaways from another 2 lovely and talented ladies recently which is so exciting!! It totally made my month and the prizes arrived last week yay! I won 2nd prize in Michy from Original Wacky's giveaway and I was also one of the winners in Deniz from Emerald Sparkled's Born Pretty Store giveaway.
You might remember that Michy won my Polished Pink for October giveaway in October last year and we were both so shocked that I won hers! What are the odds. I squealed when I opened her package – not only are the polishes awesome but the strawberry lollies Michy included are some of my faves and are kind of hard to find here.
L – R: Claire’s Grape Popsicle, Wet n Wild Cheers and Tipsy. Michy featured similar scented Claire’s polishes on her blog and I was so envious. Now I get to try one out for myself!! =D
L – R: Milani Jewel FX Gold, elf Metal Madness and Matte finisher. The Jewel FX polishes have been on my wishlist ever since I saw swatches online and I can’t believe she included one!! She also included some very yummy smelling Lipsmackers balms =)
I was one of the 5 lucky winners to score a $20 coupon to Born Pretty Store from Deniz's giveaway. I've been wanting to purchase some items from there for a while so I got some pearls, striping tape and assorted fimo sticks to add to my nail art collection! I also bought some acrylic paints too =)
I can't wait to try them all out for my upcoming manis! A big thank you to both ladies for these wonderful prizes!

Swap with Jess from polish insomniac
I completed another awesome swap this week! Swapping is so much fun – I love meeting fellow polish lovers and the process of shopping and choosing polishes is very enjoyable =) This time I swapped with the lovely Jess from polish insomniac. She answered my call for swap buddies a few months back but I couldn’t swap til a few weeks ago. She managed to cross a few things off my wishlist which I am SO grateful for! Here are the goodies she sent my way:

Sally Hansen Complete Manicure Hidden Treasure, Lagoon, Kook-A-Mango and Thinking of Blue. HIDDEN TREASURE!!! Need I say more? *dance* Lagoon is so so pretty, it reminds me of Gosh Ocean actually. I've very much wanted to try the Complete Manicure range however the prices down under are just ridiculous.

Jordana Mint Candy, Sinful Colors Mint Apple and China Glaze Metallic Muse. Some wonderful greens that I'm so excited to add to my collection! I've had Metallic Muse on my wishlist for aaaages now for konading so yay!
As soon as my exam is over next week I am going to have to polish my nails daily or at least 2nd daily! I have so many gorgeous polishes to try it's not funny. Thank you for these wonderful polishes Jess!

Nonpareil haul and lipstick swatches
I ordered some stuff from Nonpareil a few weeks ago to take advantage of their 20% discount for Memorial Day. I know that I'm on a shopping ban an all but I couldn't resist - I saved myself money! =p I finally received my package today and it was worth the wait.
My haul consisted of mainly NYX products because I think the products are awesome but of course us Aussies don't get it here. It took a while to reach me - nearly 3 weeks which is what they tell you to expect - but other packages I've ordered from the States have only taken about 5days to get here. Nonetheless they reached me in the end and I was very please to find that the items were really really well packaged as you can see in the pic below. It was layer upon layer of bubble wrap!!
Here's what I hauled!
NYX Individual false lashes #137 and NYX Liquid eyeliner in black:
NYX 5 Colour shadow in I Dream of Jamaica. I plan on depotting these into my MAC palette some time hopefully.
NYX blushes in Mosaic Powder blush in Dare; Rouge Cream blush in Rose Petal and Powder blush in Peach:
NYX lipsticks in Summer Love; Snow White; Thalia and Wet n Wild lipstick in Retro Pink:
I decided to swatch these and I can't wait to wear them out! They applied quite smoothly and the texture is quite creamy. The scent is not too bad and at less than $2 you can't go wrong!
Summer Love - a pretty nude, great for everyday wear I think.
Thalia - a nice plummy colour with hints of brown.
Snow White - my 1st red lippie! I'm not sure if I can pull off such red lips though, maybe for a party with lashings of black eyeliner. It definitely needs to be applied with a lip brush for a perfect Snow White pout! Sorry for the very messy swatch =p
Retro Pink - a great hot pink lippie. I saw this shade on Krissy's blog and I just had to have it!
